It's certainly a lot more difficult to get a project made if you're talking about something progressive. That's just the nature of the industry.

That Plantation Has Been Ordered To Be Destroyed
Sir...
The 'coons' have taken refuge,
Under the veranda.
And the demolition crew is here.
What shall we do?
'Make sure it is made clear to them,
There is not going to be a renovation done.
That plantation has been ordered to be destroyed.'
Sir,
I do believe we are talking about two different things.
The animal rights people will not like it,
If we've intentionally demolished the nature habitat of the coons.
Should we contact the zoo before the crew starts?
'What 'are' we talking about here? '
The raccoons sir!
You know...
Those furry masked animals.
'OH!
I'm glad you clarified that.
I had a different image in my mind.
It would have appeared ridiculous,
Shouting through a bullhorn.
Threatening them with arrest!
See if they can be teased back into the trees.'
Sir?
What thoughts were you thinking?
'You don't want to know.
It has been very difficult for me of late,
To keep my thoughts progressive.
Politically correct and not offensive.'

I think that our primary concern is that the membership in our industry become active. I'm not talking about the candidates being active. I'm talking about the few hundred thousand people who work in the industry around the United States.

Country Heads
They selected their favorites amongst themselves,
In the early stages of their progressive ignorance.
Preferences for those down to Earth and comedic,
And having obtained certain material possessions...
Were those early choices made.
With a backstabbing enjoyed of others done.
However...
Times and things change as observation proves to provide.
And those who have made their choices,
Openly made and discussed on occasion...
Have a similar attribute common amongst them.
Deceiving one another has been maintained as a priority.
'But?
What is it that they 'have'? '
Lots of conversation based on themselves,
And aspects of chasing a dollar bill.
And a love to debase family members.
You know...
The usual country small town backwater stuff.
'I thought you were talking about a people living in a city.'
I'm talking about a city filled with country heads.

One's Activities Will Be Made Known
'Is there a real difference between,
Self promotion and self satisfaction? '
Well...
Wouldn't that depend on if you are left
Or right handed?
Me,
I am right handed.
Although my left is the busiest.
So I think it has a lot to do with preference.
'What on Earth are you talking about? '
I'm talking about selling books.
It's difficult for an unknown author,
To get established.
I use to carry them around in my right hand.
But for some reason my left hand ends up,
Doing all the work.
WHY?
What are 'you' talking about?
'I'm talking about pride!
Not one's ego.'
Either way...
Eventually,
One's activities will be made known.
If they remain persistent.
And stick with it!
Whatever we're talking about,
There will be satisfaction.
That's a given.
'What about promotion? '
If it is good.
And someone is left pleased?
Your efforts and sweat will be rewarded.
But...
I do suggest you stop the smoking.
At least cut down on it.

Fundamental Of Liar Chapter CXVIII: I’m Just Talking To Myself
I’m not talking to you
I’m not talking to anyone
I’m just talking to myself
I’m not grumbling
I’m not cursing
I’m just talking to myself
I’m not insane
I’m not in trance
I’m just talking to myself
I’m not mocking
I’m not threatening
I’m just talking to myself
I’m not sharing secret
I’m not hiding something
I’m just talking to myself
I’m not mad
I’m not in rage
I’m just talking to myself
I’m not jealous
I’m not envious
I’m just talking to myself
I’m not afraid
I’m not in pessimism thought
I’m just talking to myself
I’m not whining
I’m not complaining
I’m just talking to myself
I’m not depressed
I’m not in foul mood
I’m just talking to myself
I’m not blaming
I’m not accusing
I’m just talking to myself
I’m not in denial
I’m not in confusion
I’m just talking to myself
I’m not informing
I’m not warning
I’m just talking to myself
I’m not against you
I’m not rebelling
I’m just talking to myself
I’m not help you
I’m not assist you
I’m just talking to myself
I’m not running some plot
I’m not in a mischief plan
I’m just talking to myself
I’m not in great grudge
I’m not in revenge mind
I’m just talking to myself
I’m not suspicious
I’m not curious
I’m just talking to myself
I’m not saying sorry
I’m not saying thank you
I’m just talking to myself

I think what made it difficult for people to get, and still makes it difficult for people to get, is the theatrical nature of the work and the fact that, my music doesn't exist without the performance-art element.
People might say I'm difficult, but did you ever hear anyone describe a label as 'difficult'? By nature, artists should challenge. When they call you difficult, it is a reflection of the imbalance of power.

Nature has made the bark brown
Nature has made the bark brown
My man, my man
Nature has made the birds black
My man, my man
Nature has made the dirt dark
My man, my man.
Nature made the color of your skin
My man, my man.

Personally, I still don’t really know what progressive means. In some people’s minds if a piece of music is over 10 minutes long, it automatically gets the label of being progressive. I always enjoy playing arrangements kind of in a classical format, which is in movements. To me, music is either good or bad; it doesn’t matter what the label is. The kind of progressive label that I don’t like is the one that involves lyrics that quote dancing gnomes, Stonehenge and fairytales.

Talkin Talkin
Talking, talking
It doesnt really matter
If you know my name
It doesnt really matter
If you see things the same
As I do
It doesnt even matter
If Im tied and tense
It doesnt even matter
If Im still making sense
Over you
Im just talking, talking
Talkin, talking
Cos Im only talking, talking
Talking, talking
It doesnt matter
What the people
All around you say
Be careful how
You listen
They dont know you
The way that I do
And if you wanna
Talk about it baby
Thats alright
Its better if I say it
Than to sit down
And write it to you
Im just talking, talking
Talkin, talking
Cos Im only talking, talking
It can be that
Youre here with me
When Im standing out
On my own
The words of love
That you gage
When we were alone
It doesnt matter
If you want to
Rock and roll all night
I know youre gonna
Be there when the
Feeling is right
The feeling is right
The feeling is right
Im just talking, talking
Talkin, talking
Im just talking, talking
Talkin, talking
You know Im just
Talking, talking, talking, talking

What's so difficult...
What's so difficult,
About the word,
No.
What's so difficult,
About our,
Relationship.
What's so difficult,
About,
Us.
What's so difficult,
About the words,
Stay away.
What's so difficult,
About,
Don't talk to me.
What's so difficult...

The Industry's at war. I think it's about control. You can make all of the financial arguments that the industry has been shooting itself in the foot, but it is an industry built on a foundation of ownership and exploitation of intellectual property rights.
Sleepless in Portugal
Late night television, a group of middleclass people
discussing art and its funding, they are so very polite
but only listen to their own voices; people, who make
a living writing about poetry which sells better than
writing it; nevertheless they are my only company this
long night, one of the men tries to control the erection
he gets when looking at the nice woman in red dress.
I have turned the sound down no need to hear what
they are say, gentlefolk but I do wish there had been
a scruffy artist there as well, to livening the proceeding
up, but often artistic people are not nice they have
no patience, not really in a group of bright people who
have gone to university, have a degree in something or
other, and work in the talking industry.
Commercial break, I turn the sound back up, a smooth
talking man has a cure all pill, tells us the medical
industry tries to ignore his wonder drug because it will
make it redundant. Artful mendacity there is an absence
of shame; his sidekick, a woman, who wears so much
make-up, feign to interview him. Soon it will be morning,
and the talking and pretence on the TV will be forgotten.

Tortured Nature
Nature must be love
It is made by god above
Nature is in place
Nature is always with grace
The nature is green
It is colorful when seen
Nature is serene
It is peaceful ever seen
But people is bad
They make mother nature mad
When nature gets mad
It feels like the wrath of god
Disaster of nature
Is enough of your torture
Nature is flower
It gives love like a lover
