We Can Work It Out
Now that I know your name and U know mine
Ain't it just about time that we got 2gether?
We should make such beautiful music 4ever
Oh, 2gether 4ever
Put your trust in me, I'll never let U down
Cuz I know I can count on U 2 help me make it
Ain't no doubt about it
We can work it out, work it out
I know we can work it out
Work it out, work it out
Ooh wee!
CHORUS:
Hope we work it out, I hope we work it out
(Everybody sing) Hope we work it out, I hope we work it out
Hope we work it out, I hope we work it out
(Everybody sing) Hope we work it out, I hope we work it out
Makin' music naturally, me and W.B. (CHORUS)
Music 4 the young and old, music bound 2 be gold
Work it out
Hope we work it out, I hope we work it out {x2}
Hope we work it out, I hope we work it out (Can we work it out?)
Hope we work it out, I hope we work it out (I want 2 work it out)
Hope we work it out, I hope we work it out
(Everybody sing) Hope we work it out, I hope we work it out
Hope we work it out, I hope we work it out
(Everybody sing) Hope we work it out, I hope we work it out

Hide & Seek
There was a time when there was nothing at al
Nothing at all, just a distant hum
There was a being and he lived on his own
He had no one to talk to, and nothing to do
He drew up the plans, learnt to work with his hands
A million years passed by and his work was done
And his words were these...
Hope you find it in everything, everything that you see
Hope you find it in everything, everything that you see
Hope you find it, hope you find it
Hope you find me in you
So she had built her elaborate home
With its ups and its downs, its rains and its sun
She decided that her work was done, time to have fun
And she found a game to play
Then as part of the game
She completely forgot where shed hidden herself
And she spent the rest of her time
Trying to find the parts
Hope you find it in everything, everything that you see
Hope you find it in everything, everything that you see
Hope you find it, hope you find it
Hope you find me in you
There was a time when there was nothing at all, nothing at all
Just a distant hum

Were There Hope
I was never in a league of noble gentlemen
To whom she'd cast polite and flitting smiles,
Only distant hope and dying dreams for me!
Or perhaps descent into a game of wiles
To give a chance of sipping wine on heady nights
With her angelic presence to declare;
Above, an aura playing out hypnotic hues,
And I in awe of blonde cascades of hair.
But no! my tiring soul is sinking in a mire
To haunt me for an age and evermore, for
How could I expect to hold her silken hand
When I am but a soulless ghost of yore?

Out Of Work
8 a.m. Im up and my feet beating on the sidewalk
Down at the unemployment agency, all I get is talk
I check the want ads but there just aint nobody hiring
Whats a man supposed to do when hes down and hes
Out of work
I need a job, Im out of work
Im unemployed, Im out of work
I need a job, Im out of work
I go to pick my girl up
Her name is linda brown
Her dad invites me in
He tells me to sit down
The small talk that were making
Is going pretty smooth
But then he drops a bomb
Son, what dya do ?
Im out of work
I need a job, Im out of work
Im unemployed, Im out of work
I need a job, Im out of work
Hey mr president I know you got your plans
Youre doing all you can now to aid the little man
We got to do our best to whip that inflation down
Maybe you got a job for me just driving you around
Im out of work
These hard times, theyre enough
To make a man lose his mind
Im out of work
Up there you got a job but down here below
Im out of work
I need a job, Im out of work
Im unemployed, Im out of work
I need a job, Im out of work
Im out of work
Im out of work
Im out of work
Im out of work
Im out of work
Im out of work
Im out of work

Don't Let It Get You Down
When the friends can't be found
And the girl is out of town
I come home to an empty house
The telephone is all I have
When my plans don't work out
Mama says, don't let it get you down
Don't let it get you down
There's a club I can't get it
Every week it's the same thing
I get mad I want to cry
it's my skin they don't like
When my plans don't work out
Mama says, don't let it get you down
Don't let it get you down
Now my world don't look good
Not the way I know it should
And my time is running short
I didn't do all I ought
When my plans don't work out
Mama says, don't let it get you down
Don't let it get you down

Remembering
Remember those golden days
We used to walk hand in hand
I was your friend, your fool, your lover
I was your man
I can see you then
Smiling, looking straight at me
You caught me unawares, I blushed
Lets sit beneath this tree
I cant get over the change in you
I cant get over the change in me
And I keep on remembering the old days
I keep on remembering the old ways
I can recall you running to a sweet shop
You stopped
Bought me something
And you handed it to me
You were my girlfriend then
The first that I ever had
The first that I ever kissed
And the first to make me sad
I cant get over the change in you
I cant get over the change in me
I keep on remembering the old days
I keep on remembering the old ways
Oh yeah
I keep on remembering
I keep on remembering
Oh yeah
I keep on remembering the old days
I keep on remembering
Your pretty dress
With the zip up the back
I used to love you like that
I used to love you like that
Oh yeah
I keep on remembering
I keep on remembering all about you

Used To Love Him
The times were goin' boom and boom and bust
My feet of clay, they've dried to dust
But it isn't the red we painted,
It's... just... rust
That signature thing that used to bring a following
I have trouble now, even remembering
So why did I kiss him so hard late last friday night
And keep on letting him change all my plans
I'm either so sick in the head
I need to be bled dry to quit
Or I just really used to love him
I sure hope that's it
To keep in touch would do me whooping dutch
'Cause it isn't the rush of remembering, it's just lush
And that signature thing is only growing harrowing
I should have no trouble now to keep from following
So why did I kiss him so hard late last friday night
And keep on letting him change all my plans
I'm either so sick in the head
I need to be bled dry to quit
Or I just really used to love him
I sure hope that's it
Sometimes
When I bust my feet of clay, they dried to dust
That what isn't the red we painted
It's... just... rust
That signature thing that used to bring a following
I have trouble now, even remembering
So why did I kiss him so hard late last friday night
And keep on letting him change all my plans
I'm either so sick in the head
I need to be bled dry to quit
Or I just really used to love him
Or I just really used to love him
Or I just really used to love him
I sure hope that's it

She Can
She can light a fire under me
Give me all the courage that I need
She can see a side I just can't see, she can
She can make me smile when I wanna cry
Find a way to change my state of mind
She can always reach through my disguise, she can
When my world gets crazy and I just can't cope
She throws her arms around me and gives me hope
When I got the desire but I got no plans
I need someone to understand, oh, only she can
She can take the chill out of winter nights
Take away the wrong from what's not right
She can make the darkest hour look bright, she can
When I really need to make a stand
But I don't believe in who I am
When I really want to but I just can't, she can
When my world gets crazy and I just can't cope
She throws her arms around me and gives me hope
When I got the desire but I got no plans
I need someone to understand, oh, only she can
I try to do for her what she does for me
'Cause I want our love to grow
I'm gonna hold on tightly only a fool would let her go
'Cause, When my world gets crazy and I just can't cope
She throws her arms around me and gives me hope
When I got the desire but I got no plans
I need someone to understand, oh, only she can
Yes, she can
Only she can
Yes, she can
Oh, yes, she can...

What Hope Can Do.
Hope....
Hope......
Hope is what strives you to be the best that you can.
Hope is what helps you hold on.
Hope is what makes you feel there could be a possibility that everything can work out for the better.
Hope is what you can make it be.
Hope is magical.
Hope is fantastic.
Hope is beautiful.
Hope is everything.
Hope is sweet.
Hope is there for you.
Hope is there for friends.
Hope is there for family.
Hope is there for loved ones.
Hope is there for everybody..........

0368 Post-modern Irony
With all the excitement of a Florentine writer around 1480
who's just heard about the new invention of printing
and has plans to use it bigtime
I'm sitting here at the PC, one of
the first generation of mature writers
who can bring to a lifetime's experience
the web's recall of every great and relevant word
recorded since the beginning of recorded time and thus
pigmies on the shoulders of giants
and what happens
the excitement's gone to my

Remembering The First Time
Remembering the first time we made love
Remembering the first time we made love
I was just recalling
Sitting here glad as I am
With your photograph,. I hold it in my hands
Aching for a vision of you, youre right in front of me
Looking at the photograph, and the way you were looking at me
I was remembering the first time we made love
I was just recalling
Remembering the first time we made love
Remembering the first time we made love
I was just recalling
Remembering the first time we made love
Sitting here looking at the table
Its just like a photograph
Theres you and me, fruit, drink, good food
Oh the things we did, the things we did
From the shower we took to the very first look
Remembering the first time we made love
I was just recalling
Remembering the first time we made love
Remembering the first time we made love
I was just recalling
Remembering the first time we made love
Youre rich, youre beautiful, youre in love
How wonderful life can be
Just the wya you wanted it to be
Yet I am the colour of the night
I am the colour of the night
If you could only make it right
If you could only make it right
Remembering the first time we made love
I was just recalling
Remembering the first time we made love
Remembering the first time we made love
I will never forget you girl
Remembering the first time we made love
Remembering the first time we made love
Love you, love you, love you girl
Remembering the first time we made love

Work, Sleep, Work, Sleep, Work
Work, sleep, work, sleep,
Work, sleep, work, sleep,
Work, sleep, work, sleep,
Work:
Work, sleep, work, sleep,
Work, sleep, work, sleep,
Work, sleep, work, sleep,
Work.
Oh free me please with gentle ease
From work, sleep, work, sleep, work!
This odium, pounding tedium
Of my work, sleep, work, sleep, work.
Just whisk me off to lands afar
From work, sleep, work, sleep, work -
That grinding train of rhythmic pain
Called ‘Work, sleep, work, sleep, work.’
Poor neural circuits fizzle and pop
In work, sleep, work, sleep, work,
In trying to make some sense of all this
Work, sleep, work, sleep, work.
But Hark! I see a golden gleam -
A saving spirit of hope:
‘You’re fired! ’ He screams. What news to bear,
This wondrous hangman’s rope!
So now I’m free, released from all this
Work, sleep, work, sleep, work -
Eternal peace and rest for me, no
Work, sleep, work, sleep, work.

Work To Make It Work
(r palmer)
Push it along
Work work work to make it work
Push it along
Work work work to make it work
Push it along
Work work work if you want to improve it
Push it along
It's all there for you to feel it
Help your self to one that you can't deal with
Ain't no way that you could steal it
You misunderstand if you get greedy
Ah push
Work work work to make it work push it along
Work work work to make it work
Push it along
Work work work to make it work
Push it along
Work work work if you want to improve
Don't confine your dreams to bed
You'll get scared if you get lazy
If you can't take enough to satisfy yourself
Then you'll go crazy
Wont do no good thinking
You got to do it
So it don't come easy the first time
Practice makes perfect, you know that i'll try hard
Use it or lose it
You got to put your heart and soul into it
Yeaheheh
Push it along
Work work work to make it work
Push it along
Work work work if you want to move it
Push it along
Work to make it work
Push it along
Work work work if you want to improve
It's all there for you to feel it
Help your self to one that you can't deal with
Ain't no way that you could steal it
You misunderstand if you get greedy forget wishful thinking
You can do it
You just need a push to make a start
If you don't succeed the first time
Try and try again
Use it or lose it
You got to put your back into it
Work work work to make it work
Push it along
Work work work if you want to move it
Push it along
Work work work to make it work
Push it along
Work work work if you want to improve
Work work work to make it work
Push it along
Work work work if you want to move it
Push it along
Work work work to make it work
Push it along
Work work work if you want to improve

Empty Hope
Our hope in anything, other than, God above can be foiled by men,
As man’s ways are frustrated by, the Lord God, who reigns on high.
Man’s plans are apart from Him, base on sinful man’s secular whim,
With no acknowledgment of the Lord, while God’s ways go ignored.
By vain philosophy man is soiled, and all plans are empty and void,
Speaking on ways to lofty for him, man’s plans are tainted from sin,
Making promises they can’t keep; only regret the followers will reap,
Seducing many far from the plan, which God had instituted for man.
Man’s hope is authored by fools, creating for men outrageous rules,
Rules that really sway man’s heart, as from God, these fools depart,
Talking to all those who believed, men that too have been deceived,
Following a political wink and nod, while they also depart from God.
Little do all their followers know, they’re following God’s eternal foe,
Satan himself, that father of lies, using his deceptive political guise,
Gathering souls, both left and right, to sway many into eternal night,
Headed for God’s Judgment ahead, by Satan, these souls are lead.
The hope in man will never last, and in the fire that hope will be cast,
All of man’s hope apart from God, when Christ reigns with Iron Rod.
As He brings with Him all of those, who believed in Christ who rose,
To bring a Hope others can’t see, The Hope in God through Eternity.

Making Plan For Nigel
We're only making plans for Nigel
We only want what's best for him
We're only making plans for Nigel
Nigel just needs this helping hand
And if young Nigel says he's happy
He must be happy
He must be happy in his work
We're only making plans for Nigel
He has his future in a British steel
We're only making plans for Nigel
Nigel's whole future is as good as sealed
And if young Nigel says he's happy
He must be happy
He must be happy in his work
Nigel is not outspoke n
But he likes to speak
And loves to be spoken to
Nigel is happy in his work
We're only making plans for Nigel

Live Life on Hope
Strange is our life to live
No idea where it leads
But still live on hope
Where is it going to take?
Meet new people in life
May be just for once
But still live on hope
Will we meet them again?
We make new plans for life
No idea how to manage
But still live on hope
When is it going to attain?
Great effort we make family
Bring up kids to best
But still live on hope
What would be the result?
Children fly when big and built
Again we remain alone
But still live on hope
When will they be back?
All of us live on hope
And it should never end
Until we leave this earth
Always hope for the best...
