Solid Rock
Well, Im hangin on to a solid rock
Made before the foundation of the world
And I wont let go, and I cant let go, wont let go
And I cant let go, wont let go, and I cant let go no more.
For me he was chastised, for me he was hated,
For me he was rejected by a world that he created.
Nations are angry, cursed are some,
People are expecting a false peace to come.
Well, Im hangin on to a solid rock
Made before the foundation of the world
And I wont let go, and I cant let go, wont let go
And I cant let go, wont let go, and I cant let go no more.
Its the ways of the flesh to war against the spirit
Twenty-four hours a day you can feel it and you can hear it
Using all the devices under the sun.
And he never give up til the battles lost or won.
Well, Im hangin on to a solid rock
Made before the foundation of the world
And I wont let go, and I cant let go, wont let go
And I cant let go, wont let go, and I cant let go no more.

Today... 'Foundation laid in Zion
There on Zion's mount stands a foundation stone
upon which the church through the ages has grown.
A cornerstone that the Lord Jehovah laid.
A tried and tested stone that will not fade.
How firm a Foundation we have in the Lord
as He builds The Living Church upon His Word.
No other foundation will ever suffice
for we stand upon Christ's perfect sacrifice.

The Temple - What Makes It Of Worth
You may delve down to rock for your foundation piers,
You may go with your steel to the sky
You may purchase the best of the thought of the years,
And the finest of workmanship buy.
You may line with the rarest of marble each hall,
And with gold you may tint it; but then
It is only a building if it, after all,
Isn't filled with the spirit of men.
You may put up a structure of brick and of stone,
Such as never was put up before;
Place there the costliest woods that are grown,
And carve every pillar and door.
You may fill it with splendors of quarry and mine,
With the glories of brush and of pen —
But it's only a building, though ever so fine,
If it hasn't the spirit of men.
You may build such structure that lightning can't harm,
Or one that an earthquake can't raze;
You may build it of granite, and boast that its charm
Shall last to the end of all days.
But you might as well never have builded at all,
Never cleared off the bog and the fen,
If, after it's finished, its sheltering wall
Doesn't stand for the spirit of men.
For it isn't the marble, nor is it the stone
Nor is it the columns of steel,
By which is the worth of an edifice known;
But it's something that's living and real.

Life And Death On The Stone In The Pond
on that rainy month
a stone was so kind
enough
to let the green moss
wrap its
solid body
there was
mutual bliss in
their
company
then the drought
comes in months
the river where the stone
lives
dried and
mud turned to
cracked
surfaces
the moss knows
that this happens
every year
dies peacefully
around the solid body
of the stone
like sleep waiting
for the next rain
the stone is
undisturbed

I think it's a mother's dream come true to see it work out that way. Not just the mother, but certainly parents, to know that their children have a very solid moral foundation and religious foundation.

Today... 'Builder
A Master Builder is still plying His trade
and has laid a foundation none else could have laid.
For Christ is the eternal Foundation Stone
and He's building in a way never before known.
Each building block He uses is a living stone
for each one He has given His life to own.
All are united by His love and built up to be
the Church of His body for the world to see.

This House
(nile rodgers)
This house is built
On a foundation of love
This house is built
On a foundation of love
Our toys are in the attic baby
Pictures on the wall
We can see our memories
From the days past in the mirror
Down the hall, oh yeah
Our love will survive in our own little paradise
So inspired, so inspired
Palatial it may not be
But its a home and a castle to me
A dream from a magazine
And well never give it up cause
This house is built
On a foundation of love
This house is built
On a foundation of love
Ill try to comfort you baby
You try to comfort me yeah
I know you love me
With all your heart, oh yeah
cause you say you do
You know that when you are sad
Ill be there in a flash
At the drop of a hat, oh yeah
cause I want you to feel love
And you dont have to say a thing
You dont have to ask, cause baby
This house is built
On a foundation of love
This house is built
On a foundation of love
Maybe well strike it rich
One day really make it big
And I know because our love is so strong
Well always have a home
This house is built
On a foundation of love
This house is built
On a foundation of love
This house is built
On a foundation of love
This house is built
On a foundation of love
This house is built
On a foundation of love
This house is built
On a foundation of love

Structure
One with a topic,
Must adopt structure.
With an effectiveness,
That seduces unexpectedly.
Without structure,
A captivation wished...
Never comes to satisfy.
Or acknowledges before it leaves.
And those with desires,
To get their points across...
Will someday realize it is structure,
That intensifies and pleases all of their needs.
