Arrogance on the part of the meritorious is even more offensive to us than the arrogance of those without merit: for merit itself is offensive.

An extraordinary amount of arrogance is present in any claim of having been the first in 'inventing' something. It's an arrogance that some enjoy, and others do not. Now I reach beyond arrogance when I proclaim that fractals had been pictured forever but their true role remained unrecognized and waited for me to be uncovered.

Giving In
Giving in may,
Not be a benefit.
Giving in may,
Just be an excuse to quit.
Giving in may,
Not be the end of it
If,
What is done to another is offensive.
Giving in may,
Not be a benefit.
Giving in may,
Just be an excuse to quit.
And giving in may,
Not be the end of it.
If,
What is done to another is offensive.
Saying what is wrong to one,
May not be the right thing.
Especially if the other is a lover.
Who believes what is done,
Is okay and approved.
With an acceptance expected,
To be received as cool.
Giving in may,
Not be a benefit.
Giving in may,
Just be an excuse to quit.
And giving in may,
Not be the end of it.
If,
What is done is offensive.
And it is said and admitted.
Giving in may,
Not be a benefit.
Giving in may,
Just be an excuse to quit.
Giving in may,
Not be the end of it.
If,
What is done is offensive.
And an argument begins,
That is unended.

The Merit Suffocates
Merit suffers from vested interests.
Money and sex play a great part.
Prejudice and nepotism
Do their parts at a crucial point.
Religion is not far behind.
Merit suffers and suffocates.

Name of God
He who utters the Name of God while walking
gets the merit of a sacrifice at every step
His body becomes a place of pilgrimage.
He who repeats God’s Name while working
always finds perfect peace.
He who utters the Name of God while eating
gets the merit of a fast
even though he has taken his meals.
Even if one were to give in charity
the whole world encircled by the seas
it would not equal the merit of repeating the Name,
By the power of the Name
one will know what cannot be known,
One will see what cannot be seen,
One will speak what cannot be spoken,
One will meet what cannot be met.
Tuka says.
Incalculable is the gain that comes
From repeating the Name of God.

Arrogance
Why are you so arrogant?
[th....th...there he is!]
[th....there he is!]
[th....th...there he is!]
What makes a man wanna rule the world? (a double a double arrogance)
(u got it)
Make him man enough to say hes 50-50 girl (a double a double arrogance)
(u got it)
What makes a man wanna curse and swear? (a double a double arrogance)

The kite flies.
Its lightness is its merit.
The tree breaks.
Its stubbornness is its merit.

For the effects you produce.

Cruelty
Standing on the top of the world (4x)
Standing on the top of the world
Standing on the top of the world
Standing on the top it's a long way down.
It's too easy to feel conceit
Its too easy to feel elite
The propaganda that you're fed.
Don't think you can count on it
When you judge yourself.
Supremacy means there's no conscience here
Supremacy means there's no compassion here.
Tradition rules
Despite the rotten truth.
Despite the atrophy
Despite the waste and greed.
It's too easy to feel conceit
Its too easy to feel elite
The propaganda that you're fed.
Don't think you can count on it
When you judge yourself.
It's a risky thought reinforced from youth.
Everything's a resource that's fit for abuse.
Tradition rules in the hearts of stubborn fools
Tradition rules no matter how cruel.
It's just their arrogance
Arrogance that fuels their cruelty.
Arrogance
Arrogance that fuels their cruelty.
Arrogance is stupidity
When its surrounded in our frailty
Arrogance is stupidity
When its surrounded in our frailty
Knock them down

Arrogance Of Man
arrogance of man is a defect
what you see is what you get
they say pride comes before the fall
some can not see this at all
pride in accomplishments
pride in family
pride in self
are all good atributes
unless others are treated inferior
never looking beyond their exterior
we are all equal under gods eyes
and we all will one day die
be kind to one another
and not let arrogance
cause decay
it was never meant to be that way

I Am Going to Throw My Arrogance Around
You may think this distasteful,
And I can care less.
But I am going to throw my arrogance around.
With a pulchritude that is peacocked.
Like a rooster doing goose steps.
And swimming like a swan,
On my own fresh water pond.
Why?
Because that's what I choose to do.
You?
Can take a hike or fly a kite!
Like I said...
I can care less.
I am going to throw my arrogance around.
And guess what?
Not even seek your approval.

The Arrogance of Humanity.
Never ceases to amaze me.
The arrogance of people.
Listening to a woman speak
How important it is to
Bleat on about
Drinking whiskey neat.
The arrogance goes on unabated.
Drink loosens jowels but nothing
Fresh is stated.
Never ceases to amaze me.
The self importance of the ego.
Its lust for power is never satiated.
The life and times of the 'I', 'I', 'I'!

Sugar Plummed By Fairyisms
Hmmm...
Do I care that my comments may be offensive,
To those who may be of slow apprehension?
I've been called crude and rude and heartless,
By some.
Brilliant by others.
And stupid and dumb...
By those who qualify themselves,
As loved ones.
But...
Do I 'care' that my comments may be offensive?
That depends if I am in a forgiving mood to forget.
Since the recalling of my 'anguish' goes totally misunderstood,
By those whose lives have been fantasized...
And 'sugar plummed' by fairyisms.
I grew up in a tenement project.
A place we called the 'brickyard'.
But officially named Bellevue Square.
An experiment of sorts,
For those poor and Black!
Living in Hartford, Connecticut.
But I do the best I can,
To provide an accurate assessment of my outlook.
From my experiences and point of view.
Even though it is difficult to sweeten,
Those lingering memories.
Hmmm...
Do I care that my comments may be offensive?
Oh yes.
Especially when I become victimized,
Listening to them repeated...
And,
Coming from the mouths of those who believe I stay angry.
And I'm only angry on Tuesdays between 2: 30pm and five.
And on most Thursdays anytime before noon.

In Their Minds
He may not win an election,
To lead a country.
Solely based on the color of his skin.
But he has shown what he can do brilliantly!
And that is represent himself,
With a poise and dignity.
Whether it is in speeches he gives,
Or an insight he has while standing on his feet.
Wherever he travels to parts of the world he is in!
We have to give him that!
And he does this all,
Without an appearance of a boombox,
Jive language or in shorts to show...
He plays terrific basketball!
Proving he can do these things,
Although he can upset some with his arrogance...
Who are extremely appalled.
Afterall...
There are many who oppose him.
Knowing 'they' are the ones he should defend.
If he would just dropp the notion of becoming president...
And with them become their point guard.
To help them secure championships!
In their minds what other reason,
Does he have to exist?
And assisting in winning all the games.
To bring a collective attention to their 'gifts'.
'That is better stated.
I personally still find it offensive...
But it is easier to take,
Than that last crude statement you made, Jesse!
However...
This one has less jealousy detected.'

The True Liberal
The truest Liberal is he
Who sees the man in each degree,
Who merit in a churl can prize,
And baseness in an earl despise,
Yet censures baseness in a churl,
And dares find merit in an earl.

Of That Which Has Created The Earth
Everything has an order.
Everything has a discipline.
When those believe,
They can disrupt an order...
That has strict discipline,
To attempt to impose their wishes...
As if this skips the attention,
Of that which has created the Earth...
They from birth have leeched upon.
And they...
Created by it from within,
A Supreme Inyelligence?
THAT is the ultimate ungratefulness.
THAT is the ultimate display of arrogance.
And 'that' arrogance ultimately ends,
As is to be witnessed.
Without a weapon used that could possibly defend.

Act so that in your own judgment and in the judgment of others you may merit eternity, act so that you may become irreplaceable, act so that you may not merit death. Or perhaps thus: Act as if you were to die tomorrow, but to die in order to survive and be eternalized. The end of morality is to give personal, human finality to the Universe; to discover the finality that belongs to it — if indeed it has any finality — and to discover it by acting.

A Fate of Top Poems!
Past poets were remarkable by their poems only;
But present poets are made remarkable by others!
Poetry of the past are no doubt top poems ever;
But poetry of the top are not listed in top poems!
Becoming top poets how can theirs have no place
Among the top poems of the poetry list? I wonder!
Touch stone of the top poems depends on merit
But not by the supports of friends for fun ever!
Poems of lasting value only can become classic;
But poems of no merit also have become classic!
Poetry of the past are romantic and also classic
But poetry of the present are neither but modern!
What is the yardstick to select poems as top ones -
Just support of some but not merit and meaning?

Respect Me As An Equal
Respect Me as an equal and respect to you I'll pay
I'm too old for playing mind games I've never been that way
The one who derives pleasure in verbally putting others down
Will never be looked up to as the most loved one in town,
Those who use words as an offensive weapon with their sins have to live
Cruel words can wound fragile feelings and prove hard to forgive
If you cannot offer respect such you will not receive
We do sow our own Karma on that I do believe,
Low in their sense of self esteem and without common sense
The arrogant and insensitive with their words cause offense,
offensive people who are ageing have not learned from life at all
They don't leave us with happy memories of them for to recall
The one without reason to offend me will never be my friend
He or she I do not wish to know of that I won't pretend.
