The light of the stars that were extinguished ages ago still reaches us. So is it with great men who died centuries ago, but still reach us with the radiations of their personality.

I Wrote A Poem With The Stars As My Light
I WROTE A POEM WITH THE STARS AS MY LIGHT
I wrote a poem with the stars as my light
And thought of all the distances between the lines-
If only we could reach one another
But with each message we grow farther apart-
The universe was closer once
And so were we-
But now how great and greater the distances-
One day soon you will pass out of my horizon
And we will be as if we never were-
Even the greatest Love cannot be remembered
If there is not some small light shining still
Between the stars.

When Once We Were Stars
my
name was written
in the stars
brightness
complimentary to yours
turning
leisurely
beside
me
i orbited
your planet
but your gravity force
ripped me in two
half of me
left
and i felt empty
for forever
and my light
extinguished
under yours
weeping stars
shooting
and darkening
and dying
arrived in my orbit
like
a meteor shower
uncontrollable
and bursting with yellow light
i was only a shadow
next to the magnificence
they described you
as you once were
i slept
under your light
i was possessed
by your
light
dark moths
that fly to flames
never have possessed fully
flames
of their own

God Is The Light
God is the Light
How great the wonders of the heavens
And the timeless beauty of the night
How great then how great the Creator?
And its stars like priceless jewels
Far beyond the reach of kings
Bow down for the shepherd guiding him home.
But how many eyes are closed
To the wonder of this night?
Like pearls, hidden, deep beneath a dark
Stream of desires.
But like dreams vanish with the call to prayer
And the dawn extinguishes night here too are signs.
God is the Light - God is the Light
How great the beauty of the Earth and the creatures
Who dwell on her.
How great then how great the Creator?
As it's mountains pierce the clouds
High about the lives of men
Weeping rivers for thousands of years.
But how many hearts are closed
To the wonders of this sight?
Like birds on a cage, asleep with closed wings
But as work stops with the call to prayer
And the birds recite here too are signs
God is the Light God is the Light
How great the works of man and the things he makes
How great then how great the Creator?
Though he strives to reach the heavens
He can barely survive
The wars of the world he lives in.
Yet, how many times he's tried,
Himself to immortalise?
Like his parents before him in the Garden of Eden
But like the sun sets with the call to prayer
And surrenders to the night here too are signs
God is the Light Everlasting
God is the Light Everlasting

Bless The Wings
Like the rose that blooms in the wintertime
As it reaches up through the snow
The more life keeps apart
The more love will grow
Like the seed that grows in the darkness
As it reaches up to the sun
I will always reach out for you
'cos you are the one
I bless the wings that bring you back to me
Back across the shore
If i could touch you now my darling
And love you just once more
If i could hold you, hold you, hold you,
I know you'd understand,
I know you'd understand.
As i cross the bridge by the waterfall
As i make my way by the stars
There's a shadow walking beside me
Here in my heart
Like the restless wind in the tree tops
Like a whispered voice in my ear
I will always be there for you
I'll always be here
I bless the wings that bring you back to me
Back across the shore
If i could touch you now my darling
And love you just once more
If i could hold you, hold you, hold you,
I know you'd understand,
I know you'd understand.
In a far off wonderland
That flashes past my eyes
The kiss of inspiration that was mine
The dust of many centuries
Has blown across this land
But love will not be scattered by the sand
Like the sunrise over the mountainside
Like the bird that has to be free
There's a part of you that will always be
Part of me
Like the seed that grows in the darkness
I will always reach out for you
'cos you are the one
I bless the wings that bring you back to me
Back across the shore
If i could touch you now my darling
And love you just once more
If i could hold you, hold you, hold you,
I know you'd understand,
I know you'd understand,
I know you'd understand,
I know you'd understand.

At This Great Distance
Memory
Ancient light from a binary star
Bends across a receeding tide
A single point of light st this great distance
At this great distance only the eye
Pressed against the telescope of dreams
Sees two stars
Two stars, two white hot lines on a firey white
Spinning madly on lines defined
By each others gravity.
And by the time we see
The light of memory
There is no hope
Theres no hope
Only memory
They danced to songs
Played at the speed of light
Red shifting
Untouchable
At this great distance two stars, two souls
Become one single point of light
Not hot
Not cold
Not you
Not me
Only memory
Chorus
Only memory - at this great distance
(repeat to end

To ----, in obscurity
In full-orbed splendor now the queen of Night,
Among the stars walks in her pride of place,
And how again we miss that flood of light
That overflowed the azure fields of space.
But though her brightness meets no more the gaze,
As in her wonted orbit she declines,
Yet not extinguished are her silver rays, --
She shines in shadow, but not less she shines.
Soon will she rise again upon the sight,
Passing the darkened shape that bids her wane;
Then shall we see her, in unclouded light,
Take her own place among the stars again.

It is better, I think, to grab at the stars than to sit flustered because you know you cannot reach them... At least he who reaches will get a good stretch, a good view, and perhaps even a low-hanging apple for his efforts.

Like a Rainbow
I see your colours shining bright,
Through the African clouds you show your light,
You are like a Rainbow and I can't touch you,
Hard as I try I just can't reach you,
When I reach out you move away,
When I catch up you're just not there,
When I move away I see you everywhere,
When the rain is gone you are still there, I just can't reach you,
Like a Rainbow, you are like a Rainbow,
Like a Rainbow, you are like a Rainbow,
Do you know why you shine so beautiful and bright?
Do you know how to shine without the light?
If you touch me I will know and you will glow,
If you let me reach you then I will teach you and we'll be alright,
At sunset you fade, then my stars come out,
The darkness comes between us, must we be apart?
When you know me then your Northern Lights will shine bright,
Your Southern Lights will be up all night, my stars shine through you,
Then we will be alright.

Harmless pastime for friend Thad
When I survey the skies at night.
I try to count the points of light
although I know it can’t be done
I still attempt to just for fun.
The light which we perceive today
has taken centuries they say.
To travel at the speed of light
from stars beyond our human sight.
Perhaps its true, perhaps its not
but does it matter. Not a lot.
The stars I think that I can see
are part of my reality.
Though they burnt out eons ago.
the speed of light seems very slow.
I see them as they used to be
and that is good enough for me.
I understand each is a sun
but still I count them just for fun.
Those distant twinkling points of light
To me a source of pure delight.
I like to sit and fantasise
about these beacons in the skies.
Set my imagination free
as I sit watching quietly.

Jehovah Jesus
My song shall bless the Lord of all,
My praise shall climb to His abode;
Thee, Saviour, by that name I call,
The great Supreme, the mighty God.
Without beginning or decline,
Object of faith and not of sense;
Eternal ages saw Him shine,
He shines eternal ages hence.
As much when in the manger laid,
Almighty Ruler of the sky,
As when the six days' work He made,
Fill'd all the morning stars with joy.
Of all the crowns Jehovah bears,
Salvation is His dearest claim;
That gracious sound well pleased He hears
And owns Emmanuel for His name.
A cheerful confidence I feel,
My well placed hopes with joy I see;
My bosom glows with heavenly zeal,
To worship Him who died for me.
As man He pities my complaint,
His power and truth are all divine;
He will not fail, He cannot faint;
Salvation's sure, and must be mine.

Personality is essential. It is in every work of art. When someone walks on stage for a performance and has charisma, everyone is convinced that he has personality. I find that charisma is merely a form of showmanship. Movie stars usually have it. A politician has to have it.

Light Your Stars
The sunlight reflects in your eyes
Your tears ceased to flow
You're back in balance
The fallacies leave you alone
And your nightmares are replaced by reality
You're floating away
Right up and over the barriers and borders
Boundless and free is your mind
It took ages for you to feel this way again
Light your stars
You could stand the fascination
And you're falling weightlessly
To close your diary
Light your stars
You could understand relations
And you're falling weightlessly
Until the diary is done
You're leaving the fear far behind
And you're trying to battle with great temptation
Like maggots, it's eating at you
Do you pray at night, you're strong enough to resist?
You're tossing in bed
And all you perceive is a blurred world in strange lies
Tearing the visions all down
Defeated your so lost in tranquillity

The invention of IQ did a great disservice to creativity in education. ... Individuality, personality, originality, are too precious to be meddled with by amateur psychiatrists whose patterns for a 'wholesome personality' are inevitably their own.

Differentiated Disappear, Undifferentiated no felt!
Oh, that small spring of love,
When started to flow,
Met other streams on the way,
now is a vast river, and about to reach the ocean!
And that ocean of wine,
I learnt to drink and live like a fish in ocean of divine,
One who hasn't tasted it,
how can understand,
How I learned to live and die,
Intoxicated by that love and knowledge,
I saw only light!
And that a ray of light,
With love and hope,
When radiated out of my heart,
Got reflected, refracted,
Dispersed and travelled in space,
Long and wide in this universe,
Sometimes absorbed,
Sometimes became monochromatic laser,
Now able to pierce through obstacles,
Went deep into space!
Alas! At the edge of universe I was as a photon,
Beyond which I can't go,
I became old, lost energy,
Died their as a photon!
Ah! I was far away from all,
Who else can know that I died?
Only I knew it,
and
Ah! I knew that I died!
No one to sigh, no one to cry,
I was now enjoying universe as whole,
Undifferentiated and look like an apple,
I differentiated all, I felt all,
And I am the light,
Who felt pain,
Trapped in stars and blackhole,
and when I die in myself,
Then only I feel I am whole!
Differentiated world disappear,
Undifferentiated is not felt!

Wild fire in your eyes
The wild flame of your lovely green eyes
has still not been extinguished, my love,
has still not been extinguished!
In nights without stars, they glisten as two Venuses
in the immensity of the night, lighting my destiny.
Although, with the implacable passing of time,
the brightness of the fire of your lovely green eyes
became tinged with sadness, and the wild thing became fondness,
they still smile with sweetness every time they meet with mine.
My love, the wild fire of your pretty green eyes
still warms my heartbroken being in cold mornings,
when the morning nostalgia rides hopelessly,
looking for restless souls like mine.
My love, the wild fire of your beautiful green eyes,
a long time ago they found, by chance,
the hidden fire of my sad, sad eyes,
and they melted it in love fire for an eternity.
The wild fire of your lovely green eyes
has still not been extinguished, my love,
has still not been extinguished!

Died
I could climb until I reach where angels reside
Ask around to find out where the junkies applied
You just up and left me on this rock all alone
Its my fault for knowing now what I should have known
Ohhhh oh oh
My heart is tired of beating slow
Ohh ohh
Its been depleating since you died
Died
Since you died
You died
I could drop until I touch the sinister side
Visit all attractions flippin back and aside
Still you leave me rotting on this rock all alone
Its my fault for knowing not what I should have known
Ohhhh oh oh
My heart is tired of beating slow
Ohh ohh
Its been depleating since you died
Died
Since you died
You died
Ohhh oh oh
My heart is tired of beating slow
Uhh ohh
Its been depleating since you died
Died
Since you died
You died
I could climb until I reach where angels reside
I could drop until I touch the sinister side
Ohhhh oh
My heart is tired of beating slow
Uhh ohh
Its been depleating since you died
Died
Since you died
You died
Died
You died
Died
You died
