But when you're in something together, it's very hard to be objective and you're very subjective.

Objective knowledge, the idea of unity included, belongs to objective consciousness. The forms which express this knowledge when perceived by subjective consciousness are inevitably distorted and, instead of truth, they create more and more delusions. With objective consciousness it is possible to see and feel the unity of everything. But for subjective consciousness the world is split up into millions of separate and unconnected phenomena. Attempts to connect these phenomena into some sort of system in a scientific or philosophical way lead to nothing because man cannot reconstruct the idea of the whole starting from separate facts and they cannot divine the principles of the division of the whole without knowing the laws upon which this division is based.

More Difficult It Became To Be Objective
For many years I did my best,
To be objective.
With attempts to reject...
My own introspective thoughts.
Or be perceived as being,
Subjective in my perspective.
And yet be expected to accept.
But having experiences,
Kept me reflective.
And more difficult it became,
To be objective and remain...
Emotionally disconnected.
Especially when I became more affected,
By being the subject of much insensitivity.

Overrated Truth
It is no big surprise...
In every truth there are lies
As words are subjective
And actions objective
When one stops to analyze

Hitchcock makes it very clear to us. There's an objective and a subjective camera, like there's a third- and a first-person narrator in literature.

It is difficult for me to speak of my painting, for it is always born in a state of hallucination, provoked by some shock or other, objective or subjective, for which I am entirely unresponsible.

Modern culture is constantly growing more objective. Its tissues grow more and more out of impersonal energies, and absorb less and less the subjective entirety of the individual.

I think in fact that unless there is an organic link between the subjective impressions of the author and his objective representation of reality, he will not achieve even superficial credibility, let alone authenticity and inner truth.

The individual has become a mere cog in an enormous organization of things and powers which tear from his hands all progress, spirituality, and value in order to transform them from their subjective form into the form of a purely objective life.

Subjective Truth
There is no truth
So said Mr. Subjective Truth
But what he claimed was a truth itself
So Mrs. Objective Truth is rightmost right herself

Political realism believes that politics, like society in general, is governed by objective laws that have their roots in human nature. In order to improve society it is first necessary to understand the laws by which society lives. The operation of these laws being impervious to our preferences, men will challenge them only at the risk of failure. Realism, believing as it does in the objectivity of the laws of politics, must also believe in the possibility of developing a rational theory that reflects, however imperfectly and one-sidedly, these objective laws. It believes also, then, in the possibility of distinguishing in politics between truth and opinion — between what is true objectively and rationally, supported by evidence and illuminated by reason, and what is only a subjective judgment, divorced from the facts as they are and informed by prejudice and wishful thinking.

Inconsistency
When my head says I have to do this
My heart says another
And I really find this
Matter so disgusting,
How can I be objective to
Something subjective?
How can I not read the law
And apply it
And let poetry
Render an interpretation,
Absurd
How can I set the facts
Straight, punish the guilty
And have no compassion?
How can I not condemn this
Adulterer when all your sins
Go beyond what can be written
On the sand?
I have to decide, heart & reason
Learning the law, like a lover for both.

Not a Random Giver
If you ask for my opinion...
Do not expect me to be subjective.
I may neglect to be objective.
With a purpose to reflect,
Upon your connection.
And if you ask from a hypothetical stance.
Do not ready yourself,
For me to sing with you...
In a tune we both can dance.
And if you should ask for my opinion,
Do not get angered if I have none at all.
At least none I would share face to face.
Since what you may ask...
May take away time I care not to waste.
Especially if I can scent a hint...
What you ask is for a survey you take.
And I am not a random giver!
Or one who is quick...
To deliver to those seeking charity.
I've donated everything...
From sperm to a raised eyebrow!

Values are social norms — they're personal, emotional, subjective, and arguable. All of us have values. Even criminals have values. The question you must ask yourself is, Are your values based
upon principles? In the last analysis, principles are natural laws — they're impersonal, factual, objective and self-evident. Consequences are governed by principles and behavior is governed by values; therefore, value principles!

Sound is often talked about in a very subjective way, as if it had a colour. This is a bright sound, this is a dark sound. I don't believe in that because I think that is much too subjective.
