From fourth, he forged ahead to win the gold!
He never knew, he would create history;
His golden finger was precise and bold;
His mind was clear, full of tranquility!
This was Abhinav Bindra at his best,
At Beijing’s Air-Rifle shooting this year
–An example for Indians for gold-quest;
The Chandigarh hero is now too dear!
Bespectacled lad in early twenties;
