Soccer
Soccer
Have you ever been on a soccer field?
Well if you haven't it’s the m amazing thing
It’s like being in heaven but on grass
When the grass is just cut and the potato bugs are jumping in the air it gives you energy to have fun
And if you have been on a field then you know how the freshly cut grass
stings your nose and enlightens your heart to give you extra strength to
play soccer harder than you ever have in your life. That is what it’s like being on a soccer field!

Missed You
Every time I close my eyes,
I'm taken back to where we were,
Through the pain and loneliness,
I think of how much I Love You
Life in Paris is fast-paced,
It can swallow you up before you know it,
Life with her was beautiful,
But now only memories will show it.
I'm missing you Lish,
Missing the hot tubs,
Missing the curdles,
I'm missing you Candy
Missing the back rubs,
Missing the best
...friend a person will ever have,
...girl that a guy could ever Love.

GOAL! SCORE! HORNS BLARING!
soccer fans blowing there horns, eating their food, jumping up and down, painted faces, soccer jerseys, foam fingers, hot blistering sun, fun.
soccer balls roll and fly across the field soaring though the air like a bird with no wings, black and white moving so fast.
soccer bleachers, sweating fans, crumbs of food left in the stands, bird and bees and hornets to fly all around looking for food.
GOAL! SCORE! HORNS BLARING! SOCCER!

Missing You
I never knew what I was missing
until I was missing you.
'Cause every minute that you were around
I never felt this blue.
Seems no one else can do for me
all the things you've done.
You took all the scattered pieces of my life
and rolled them into one.
You made me whole. Now all those pieces
have come apart again.
It woke me up and I knew what was wrong
but I didn't know how or when
I could ever stop aching
or stop my heart from breaking
if you'd never come back to me
Don't you know how I'm missing you?
Oh how I'm missing you.
I never realized how empty I'd feel
until you were not here.
'Cause all of my time was filled with you.
I was good when you were near.
I never knew what I was missing,
until I was missing you.
'Cause every minute that you were around
I never felt this blue.
Don't you know that I'm missing you?
Oh how I'm missing you.

Come and follow me
All the way to that soccer field
During the nigut
I know you think that sounds crazy
But just trust me for once
And follow me alll the way to that Soccer field
Because I want you to see the stars that shines at night
In the sky at the soccer field

The Beautiful Game (soccer)
I love you more than my old soccer cleats,
The ones I’ll never give up.
I love you more than the perfect field,
The one I use to warm up.
I love you more than my soccer ball,
The one that’s perfect for amazing passes.
I love you more than me running along those different types of grasses.
I love you more than the cheering crowds,
The stands made out of plaster.
I love you more than that perfect kick,
That I have yet to master.
I love you more than my soccer cleats the ones that hold all reason.
I love you more than my coach, my soccer team and my season.
I love you more than winning that world cup,
That we have yet to reclaim.
I can’t believe I love you more than the beautiful game.
Missing You
(bernadette cooper)
Everybodys got to cry sometime
I never understood the reason why
Suddenly the answer is so clear Im - missing you
Never thought that we would end this way
And if I only had three words to say
They would simply flow so easily, Im - missing you
Casa blanca and white orchids I sent to you
Just a symbol of hop that you still love me too
Im missing you baby
Im missing you honey
(Im missing you)
We cant be through
Im missing you
If I had a chance once again
Id approach us like a love song
So tenderly Id orchestrate us to be
(a sweet melody)
Sending you romantic cards to remind you of us
Just a token of to entice you to
Come back to love
Im missing you baby
Im missing you honey
(Im missing you)
A love so true
Im missing you darlin
(Im missing you)
Baby I will take the blame
So lets stop playing silly games
If it will bring you back to me
Baby Ill say that Im sorry
I will gladly sacrifice
To have you back in my life
Im beggin you honey please
Come back to me darlin
Everybodys got to cry sometimes
I never understood the reason why
The answer is so clear to me now
Im missing you baby
Im missing you honey
(Im missing you)
We cant be through
Im missing you

That's what we're missing. We're missing argument. We're missing debate. We're missing colloquy. We're missing all sorts of things. Instead, we're accepting.

Ive Been Missing You
Do I know if you are sleeping
Cause you lie so still and warm
Yeh the darness and the silence wrap around me
Dont hear your cries that make me sleep so sound
Maybe Ive been missing you
Oh maybe Ive been missing you
For so long
If one day you said you were happy
I think your spell would be broken for good
Sometimes I pray
If you are unkind to me
Maybe Ill love you more for that
And maybe Ive been missing you
Oh maybe Ive been missing you
For so long
And maybe Ive been missing you
Ive been missing you
For so long yeh yeh

The Ballad Of “Willie, Bar The Door.”
In the town of Limavady,
I would have you all to know,
William Cummings he was born
A true son of the Roe.
And in that lovely valley
Near to Benevenagh’s feet,
“Willie, bar the door” gave
Many a soccer treat…
For roared on by his public
Throughout the fair north west
This humble Irish sportsman
Put others to the test.
And sure ‘twas in his lifetime
A legend he became
One of the best defenders
In the skilful soccer game.
And many were his exploits-
Oh! far too many to relate!
For on and off the field of soccer
To serve others was his fate.
Alas, William now has left us
But his memory still lives on,
In the hearts of those who knew him
And who loved him as their own.
And sure whenever soccer’s played,
In public park or moor,
We of his generation
Will remember “Bar the door”.

Missing You
Your smile lights up a room
Like a candle in the dark
It warms me through and through
And I guess that I had dreamed
We would never be apart
But that dream did not come true
And missing you is just a part of living
Missing you feels like a way of life
Im living out the life that Ive been given
But baby I still wish you were mine
And I cannot hear the telephone
Jangle on the wall
And not feel a hopeful thrill
And I cannot help but smile
At any news of you at all
And I guess I always will
Cause missing you is just a part of living
And missing you feels like a way of life
Im living out the life that Ive been given
But baby I still wish you were mine
Missing you is just a part of living
And missing you feels like a way of life
Im living out the life Ive been given
But baby I still wish you were mine
Im living out the life that Ive been given
But baby I still wish you were mine

But I think it's also hard to get into soccer here. I think purely on a time level on television as well because of the ad breaks. It's something to do with that as well. You can't show a complete soccer match here. Which I kind of find a bit of an odd thing.

Soccer world cup 2010
Soccer is the word on many lips
soccer world cup 2010
Joyous is the mood all
over the land
A first for a our small nation
flags to be hosted proudly
all over the land
White and black soccer balls
will be played over many fields
Some teams will win
some teams will loose
some teams will cry
some teams will be happy
Praise God Almighty
for this special occasion
a first for our small nation
in Jesus Name
