Our loyalties must transend our race, our tribe, our class, and our nation and this means we must develop a world perspective.

The Faith of Baha'i
We cling to multiple identities;
Such identities impel us to show
Loyalties based on identities.
Multi-loyalties bring conflict in us.
Loyalties propel us to side or fight.
Religions and politics take much toll.
Language and territories are not behind.
Racial identities still raise their heads.
Leave identities; leave loyalties.
Both tell that you are led by prejudices.
A world community formed without them
Is what Baha'u'lla'h preached as his faith.

Father Forgive
Father forgive,
The hatred which divides
Nation from nation
Race from race
And class from class.
Father forgive,
The covetous desires
Of people and nations
To possess
What is not their own.
Father forgive,
Our greed which
Exploits the work,
Of human hands
And lays waste to the Earth.
Father forgive,
Our envy,
Of the welfare
And happiness
Of others.
Father forgive,
Our indifference,
To the plight
Of the imprisoned
The homeless
And the refugee.
Father forgive,
The lust which
Dishonors the bodies
Of men, women,
And children.
Father forgive,
The pride which leads us,
To trust in ourselves
And not in God.

Most do not fully see this truth that life is difficult. Instead they moan more or less incessantly, noisily or subtly, about the enormity of their problems, their burdens, and their difficulties as if life were generally easy, as if life should be easy. They voice their belief, noisily or subtly, that their difficulties represent a unique kind of affliction that should not be and that has somehow been especially visited upon them, or else upon their families, their tribe, their class, their nation, their race or even their species, and not upon others.

Jingoism
Be not jingoistic
and say 'No' to the calls
of to religion and race.
Be patriotic to your nation
to stand by the poor
and book the criminals.
Love your nation
for its war against
illiteracy and poverty.
Love your nation
for its unceasing efforts
to extract work from the youths.
Love your nation
for not encroaching
and enslaving the neighbours.
Love your nation
for her indigenuous efforts
to reach the peak in health-care.
Love your nation
for being secular
and respect all cults and tongues.
Love your nation
for being a model
to other nations in this world.

The law of liberty tends to abolish the reign of race over race, of faith over faith, of class over class. It is not the realization of a political ideal; it is the discharge of a moral obligation.

Perspective
I need perspective cos Im facing the wall
I need perspective cos Im not that tall
I need perspective heard the trumpet call
Dont trust my eyes want to know where things fall
I need perspective party time for the newly wed
I need perspective colours ran as the images bled
I need perspective like confetti on the flower bed
Dont trust my eyes priest crying hes got fire in his head
Oh gaia, if thats your name
Treat you like dirt, but I dont want to blame
Oh gaia, the wind heats the fire and blows the ash away
I need perspective sitting in a long long hall
I need perspective staring at the white white wall
I need perspective waiting for the phone to call
Dont trust my eyes theres one thing Ive got to tell you all
I need perspective to see through red red skies
I need perspective to carry merchandise
I need perspective I dont trust my eyes
Dont trust my eyes and I dont like surprise
Oh gaia, etc
I used to be industrial giant
Sitting in a garden full of chemical plant
Trying very hard to get you off my mind
Acting like any man
Taking you for everything I can
Just the same, the same as all my kind
-- so blind
I need perspective

Accusing Fingers
You are the cause
I am not, you are
They are the culprits
They are not, you are
Other tribes are responsible
No, its your tribe
The West caused the war
No, it originated from orient
Colonial master retards our progress
Yes, but the neo-colonialist are accomplices
The eastern ideologues caused poverty
Not at all, its the capitalist greed
Your religion caused the crisis
Far from it, its yours
The drama goes on unabatedly
Across the cyclical globe
Fingers point to another
No one accepts responsibility
Everyone wears Adamic garment
Everyone sanctimoniously claims innocence
We are all responsible
Each one deposits a quantum
That crystallised into igneous of rots
No one is innocent
No one is a saint
There are motes in our eyes
Every nation, bloc, race, tribe, tongue
Are by commission or omission reponsible
The other four fingers point to the owners

Every age has its own poetry; in every age the circumstances of history choose a nation, a race, a class to take up the torch by creating situations that can be expressed or transcended only through poetry.

Our identity as a nation — unlike many other nations — is not determined by geography or ethnicity, by soil or blood. Being an American involves the embrace of high ideals and civic responsibility. We become the heirs of Thomas Jefferson by accepting the ideal of human dignity found in the Declaration of Independence. We become the heirs of James Madison by understanding the genius and values of the U.S. Constitution. We become the heirs of Martin Luther King, Jr., by recognizing one another not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. This means that people of every race, religion, and ethnicity can be fully and equally American. It means that bigotry or white supremacy in any form is blasphemy against the American creed. And it means that the very identity of our nation depends on the passing of civic ideals to the next generation.

Herald Cry Humane Humanity
it has been said
that the creative talents
of a nation's people
is of critical importance
to a nation's future
the vitality well being
of cities are essential
to every community
every ethnic element
within society must survive;
must prosper flourish develop
least unique diversity be lost;
a national curriculum of arts
can assist all component sections
of a nation to come to terms
with consequence rapid changes
happening within globalization
market driven inequity policies
diminishing government support
impact of such simple diet changes
as ease fast food MacDonaldisation.
I believe a nation can best
be judged by how it treats
its own poor; their potential
development; inherent rights
of all multicultural citizens
of this gem interwoven planet;
entitlement to a basic good
healthy productive life
honour cultural uniqueness;
let humanity be fused
with these mosaic cultures
articulate unity in diversity
abolish discriminatory laws
embrace race relationships
believe nobility 'many as one'
morality beliefs values
enter love melting pots
merge diverse multicultural;
'herald cry humane humanity'
which thus cannot turn
a blind eye to capitalist;
exploitation of all world poor;
but especially those in our third;
world in contemporary global society.

Around The World
Refrain:
Can you feel it
Can you feel it
What it means to hold a hand
Ive been around the world
Can you feel it
Can you feel it
What it means to have a friend
Ive been around the world
Refrain B:
If you need a hand, you can find a friend
In every nation, of this world
If you need a hand, you can find a friend
In every nation, of this world
Rap 1:
Ive been around the world, saw the desert and the rainbow
I go for the show, from the sand to the snow
Moskau to Manila, Milano to Beijng
Caracas to Capetown and back to Montreal
Stop running everyday from the pain, say no go
Driving you insane, no shame that you want let show
Call my name, I feel the same when you have sorrow
Grow let it go, there will always be a tomorrow
Rap 2:
All around the world, when you need a friend
Ill be there, anywhere, dont care, with a helping hand
Understand one another till the end
I swear, Im fair, I care, always gonna be there
Black, white, yellow, no matter if youre young or old
All for one, one for all, thats what my mother told me
Different colours and faces, find the trace
To your base embrace this human race
Life, will flow like a waterfall
Ive been around the world saw the desert and the rainbow
Rap 3:
Ive been around the world, saw the desert and the rainbow
I go for the show, from the sand to the snow
From New York to Paris, Sao Paulo to London
Sidney to Munich and back to Jakarta
Huge and unvorgetable China
People so open much more as I expected
Invincible pleasure in Brasil, Samba
Fond of life, there was no time to chill
Ive been around the world a thousand times for sure
Could be more explore before you walk through that door

Robotic Things
Keep it in the right perspective.
Keep it in the right perspective.
No need for probing deeper,
For those reasons to dissect this.
Signs come!
And...
Keep it in the right perspective.
Those exposing a wisdom,
Are ignored as bores!
Keep it in the right perspective.
Keep it in the right perspective.
No need for probing deeper,
For those reasons to dissect this.
Upheaval seen upon the streets.
Keep it in the right perspective.
And...
Poverty increases and defeats.
Keep it in the right perspective.
No need for probing deeper,
For those reasons to dissect this.
And the songs heard they sing,
Sound as if,
They are...
Human beings!
Keep it in the right perspective.
Keep it in the right perspective.
And the songs heard they sing,
Sound as if,
They are...
Robotic things!
Keep it in the right perspective.
Keep it in the right perspective.

Keeping it in perspective.
Robotic.
Robotic.
Robotic things.
1-2-3-4...
Remove those brains and toss them on the floor!
Keep it in the right perspective.
Keep it in the right perspective.
'Robotic things,
We need more! '
Keep it in the right perspective.
Keep it in the right perspective.
1-2-3-4...
Remove those brains and toss them on the floor!
Keep it in the right perspective.
Keep it in the right perspective.
