Martin Luther King

Discrimination is a hellhound that gnaws at Negroes in every waking moment of their lives to remind them that the lie of their inferiority is accepted as truth in the society dominating them.

Hellhound (Lyrics)

Got a hellhound dog
That hellhound's gonna rip your face off
Got a hellhound dog
That hellhound's gonna tear right through

Got a hellhound born
A hellhound born to the pack
Got a hellhound dog

And I know that I might be dead
Those who seek it out
Those who stand a few

Hell, hell of Satan's pack
We are born of hate
Both feet into hell

Take another step
Towards the bleeding light
Those who seek it out
Those who stand a few

We are a part of it

Got a hellhound dog
That hellhound's gonna rip your face off
Got a hellhound dog
That hellhound's gonna tear right through

Got a hellhound born
A hellhound born to the pack
Got a hellhound dog
That hellhound's gonna rip your face off

Got a hellhound dog
That hellhound's gonna rip your face off
Got a hellhound dog
Got a hellhound born

Gotta keep movin

And tomorrow was christmas eve
Lord, wouldnt we have a time boys

Restless Soul Is Mad

Restless soul
Is mad
Ruled by a force unseen but dominating
Eluding it
Yet longing for it
What fear is it?
What desire?
That grows each day
As the light submits to dark
And as the doors slowly close
It’s daytime for my soul
What horizons does it explore through the lands of dreams?
And what glitters for it far is its own illusionary reflections
That shine
A mirage
I do know!
Yet I live with its doubts
For my soul is restless
And it is mad
And it won't believe what shows
For it chases the truth
Not knowing that it beats within him
Falling in the rhythms of heart
Unheard
Moving like slow winds through its lungs
It’s the moment that is lived and to be lived the truth
A moment, an infinite lives
And a moment death
Yet I would live in doubt
For one day, my soul shall find the way to its own heart
To its own self
The ways untrodden for now
And till then I shall be restless
I shall be mad...

Remind My Heart

(k. hain/j. franzel)
Pull back the curtain
Open up the blind
Let the light on the window
I cant close for all this time
I wanted to forget the pain of falling
That you, maybe, remember now
Dreams werent always made to be broken
Chorus:
When you hold me in your arm
Remind my heart
Of the way love should be
In the moment I let go
Remind my heart
That youre really there for me
Like the sun, breaking through the dark
Remind my heart
Ohh, can it be this simple
Can it be this true
All the fears Ive held so long
Swept away by you
Slowly now, you bring me to my senses
And I can feel the warmth again
Of the flame Id thought Ive lost forever
(repeat chorus)
What I missed so long (remind my heart)
Of the tenderness and the feeling you remind (remind my heart)
How love can make you strong
Oh, baby, youre makin me strong
(repeat chorus)
Ohh, in the moment I let go (remind my heart)
Remind my heart, remind my heart
That youre really there for me
Remind my heart
Of the way this love should be
Remind my heart
Remind my heart

Carpe Diem

actually my dear, the most that matters is
now. This is the moment. There is no other.

what is inside my palm is not yours to guess
for i may not follow your wish
your dream, what is here inside me is alive

but only for this moment, there is no time to think
or imagine. This is only the moment. The now.

This is the only moment. It is now.
Hold my hand. As we pass the river of our lives.

Do not look back, as the rush of the water may be
too harsh. Look at my eyes. This is the only moment.

Do not look down at your feet. The water is flowing.
And flowing. There is nothing that you can hold

with your fingers and drink. It is and it will be impossible
to grasp, a past reality, a future possibility.

This is the only moment. This is the only truth. Grab it
with both hands and tell me. Now, is the only truth. This

moment of our lives. You hear the sound of a cascade.
That is what we are now.

You Remind Me Of Gold

Baby, when I think about you
And thats when I think
I think about gold
You remind me of gold
And when I see the sunrise in the sky
And when I hear your brakes come squealing by
I forget
Everything Ive been told
You remind me of gold
You remind me of gold
You remind me of gold
Baby I always think about you
I think of the life and glory you hold
You remind me of gold
And even though there was no sun today
And though you are a thousand miles away
You remind me of gold
You remind me of gold
You remind me of gold
You remind me of gold
You remind me of gold
You remind me of gold
You remind me of gold
You remind me of gold
You remind me of gold
You remind me of gold

With a Readiness to Assassinate Characters

There are many trapped Negroes,
Still left behind.
And sitting on verandas, waiting...
To define themselves with wishes.
With dismissals picked,
That are easy to find!
As they pray to reopen doors...
Long abandoned,
On closed plantations.

Desperate were their needs then,
To be freed and released...
From an increase of oppressive treatment.
But mental struggles kept,
And harvested by those purists of bigotted limits.
Believing they are God's gifts.
And annointed to suppress and punish others...
As perceived from their own restricted lives lived.
In a valued wicked sickness.
And has left their land and taken stances,
Accepted as racist.
Showing their grievances on their bitter faces.

There are many trapped Negroes,
Still left behind.
With mindsets confined and enslaved.
Praying that an obeying.
Will deliver them with souls saved.
In the heavens suspended,
With harps and wings.
And praises to sing!

There are many trapped Negroes,
On expanding lazy butts!
And loving unaccountable responsibility...
That leave generations,
Annoyingly spoiled and absent of guts!
But strutting their vacant beliefs...
On filthy streets that reflect their philosophies.

There are many trapped Negroes,
Crying on the outside.
Yet denying on the inside...
They have no identities at all!
And they are lost.

There are many trapped Negroes,
Hating the fact they call themselves 'black'.
With desires to be found as clowning 'nigguhs'.
And doing their best to 'Step 'n Fetchit'.
On a backward track.
And sustaining a hip-hop gladness about that!

'Whoa...Hey!
Don't you feel some will find what you reveal offensive? '

Of course!
Especially those who oppose being referred to as Negroes.
And those African-Americans who can't stand to be called 'black'.
But not those mulattos who are thrilled to represent...
Just what it means,
To be descendents of Queens and Kings.
And proud it's digested.
Confessed and expressed.

Everything is Temporary You Know

nothing, nothing
is ever permanent, &
so when i kiss you
i always,
always remind myself
that in another
moment it can be another
usual parting,
sweetest when
as early as dawn
after the hug
and the warmth
all night,
i begin to compare
it with
pain duly accepted.

Deploying Troops Of Truth

No matter what is said to them,
People will believe what they choose to believe.
And those creative with gossip skills,
Have networked their own reality system...
Into a comfortable safety zone!

There are generations of people,
Who have accepted their lives based on what they've heard.
Can you imagine not asking questions about your existence?
The moment I was told to be 'quiet' about something I had asked...
That was a signal to me!
Find out on my own.

To say I was a nosey little boy is an understatement.
I 'had' to satisfy my curiosity.
And If that curiosity of mine was not satisfied...
Somebody's nerves were guaranteed to be plucked.

There are generations of people,
Who have accepted their lives based on what they've heard.
Can you imagine not asking questions about your existence?
The moment I was told to be 'quiet' about something I had asked...
That was a signal to me!
Find out on my own.

And many people don't do that.
So many are programmed to believe what they are told.
And it is very easy to deceive someone like that.
It's a control factor that is enjoyed.
And that control factor has made attempts,
Deploying troops of truth into minds!
A success of this...
Does not appear to be victorious!

I Am A Future Leader

From the outset I must state
Old men (especially these!) and (some) women
Are not in me to hate
And thunderstorm I pray them not to strike
Because that is where I am headed
You all know and can certainly see
The truth, so by Amadiora may I not be beheaded

Most if not at all all offices around
Have sleepy octogenarians sleeping on the job
Waking up to remind me that my turn will come round
In the future, not near, not far- somewhere there

I am future leader you see
And so was my father before me
Who in that moment of despondency
Took to chang’aa- the local gin
Searching for hope in there- such futility!
Trying to discover the future in him
Unfortunately, he died of the liver disease
When he was about to be the future leader
Sort of!

All the while the increasingly old man and woman
Through press release s and conferences
Promised him and me as well
That we were leaders of tomorrow

What tomorrow I will ask not for now I know
Perhaps I should be like that Obama boy
Seizing the moment to bring the needed change

The Moment (barack Hussain Obama’s Inauguration)

The moment of Obama’s inauguration
Was a fluke of fate written for the nation

It was a moment to be cherished
For all citizens including the perished

It was a moment that brought glory
For abandoning the discriminatory

It was a moment that scribbled in history
And will be every child’s bed-time story

It was a moment that castigated treason
And brought in for the future, a reason

It was a moment that penalized felony
A moment the history foresaw

It was a moment that put an end to racism
Making every black and white equally blossom

It was a moment for the South Africans
A moment that promised the world would awaken

(written for obama, who will bring a change to the world dominating US)

Alexis de Tocqueville

... The electoral franchise has been conferred upon the Negroes in almost all the states in which slavery has been abolished, but if they come forward to vote, their lives are in danger... The same schools do not receive the children of the black and of the European. In the theaters gold cannot procure a seat for the servile race beside their former masters in the hospitals they lie apart... Not only is slavery prohibited in Ohio, but no free Negroes are allowed to enter the territory of that state or to hold property in it.

Discrimination Here's You Come and Go

Discrimination’s like a snake
Its teeth in poisoned prejudice,
Causing ache

Discrimination abolished all warmth and spirit
And returned with a new hate
Relishing its pain brought
Never thought of halt

Hey
Discrimination’s the new law
Stony and steel and
Square without feelings
Like window frames
Of the Hall
In court

I wonder where the White’s Purity all gone.

Tears and Fears
Now the norm
In the name
Of discrimination

now
Gladly Discrimination has gone
Kicked out hard,
square and fair

Yet-
It left a hole
In everyone’s hearts.

Power and The Use Of It

Few come to know truth.
The power and the use of it.
With a significance that overrides...
Liars and their alibis.
And what hides behind their eyes...
What is there to be seen and/or isn't.

And that's why many folks foolishly lie!
Those that do not know,
Truth exposes...
The youngest and the oldest.
There is no discrimination.
Or affordable subdivisions.

Few come to know truth,
For what it is.
So many don't know,
What telling the truth gives.
But those who do know what truth is,
Live it.
