Dusk purple trees reach out high,
Gently brushing the Cotton Candy sky,
The nostalgic horizon passes by
And time races toward the time to die.

Time passes slowly up here in the mountains,
We sit beside bridges and walk beside fountains,
Catch the wild fishes that float through the stream,
Time passes slowly when youre lost in a dream.

Soldier of War
I am a soldier with the will to live
I wonder if my family knows that I'm still here
I hear the sound of the guns blasting in my ears
I see my friends lives coming to a end
I want to go home and hold my loved ones again
I am a soldier with the will to live
I miss my family and my friends
I feel scarred as the bombs go off around the zone we have to defend
I touch the riffle and put the scope up to my eye
I worry if a bullet hits me will I die
I cry as my best friend slowly passes away in my arms
I am a soldier with the will to live
I understand only the strong will survive
I say to my best friend I'm sorry but this is good bye
I dream of hanging out with my best friend again
I try not to cry but the tears still descend
