Boxing is smoky halls and kidneys battered until they bleed.

I like boxing movies. One of the hardest things for me to watch as far as boxing films, is the boxing. The actual boxing usually sucks.
Boxing or Football?
What's your favourite sport Kevin?
as you like Boxing and Football
well they're both exciting to me
so that's a hard one to call.
Boxing is a very tough sport
a mixture of brawn and skill
two boxers standing toe to toe
both with the power to kill.
Football is full of passion
the worlds greatest team game
no other comes anywhere near
Cricket is slow boring and tame.
Boxing is not for the faint hearted
you have to be tough and very fit
take punches to the head and body
and bob and weave and avoid getting hit.
Football is played the world over
on the streets and over the park
children kick a ball for hours
in the rain and in the dark.
So if I have to make a choice
Football has to be the sport for me
you get great goals and action
and a packed ground is the place to be.
But Boxing comes a close second
Ali, Tyson, Rocky Marciano, were the best,
beating opponents with skill and guts
but so much better than all the rest.
This question was recently put to me and was hard to answer.

People say it's a movie about boxing, but... I don't agree at all. I don't think it's a movie about boxing. Boxing is like a platform. It's just a stage where this is played out.

Only Woman Bleed
Man's got his woman to take his seed
He's got the power - oh
She's got the need
She spends her life through pleasing up her man
She feeds him dinner or anything she can
She cries alone at night too often
He smokes and drinks and don't come home at all
Only women bleed
Only women bleed
Only women bleed
Man makes your hair gray
He's your life's mistake
All you're really lookin' for is an even break
He lies right at you
You know you hate this game
He slaps you once in a while and you live and love in pain
She cries alone at night too often
He smokes and drinks and don't come home at all
Only women bleed
Only women bleed
Only women bleed
Only women bleed
Only women bleed
Only women bleed
Only women bleed
Black eyes all of the time
Don't spend a dime
Clean up this grime
And you there down on your knees begging me please come
Watch me bleed
Only women bleed

See, I respect boxing because it has given me so much and that's why I will never allow anyone to mistreat the sport of boxing if I can help it.

One thing I like about boxing is that I will not have to deal with the same kind of politics that I had to in skating. In boxing, it is not about your appearance, or how your costume looks, what color it is, or how much it costs.

We Bleed For Love
We bleed
As we close our eyes
This is our life
We live to die
We bleed
Sugar coated lullabies
Swim in sin
Drown in lies
We bleed
Kiss the sky
And gut America
Watch it bleed
We bleed
The musty smell of corporate
America the cancer causing
Air freshener companies
We bleed
Oil for blood
Blood for oil
9 11 all over again
We bleed
We cry
We live
We die

You can run all you like from the classroom or the cot
From a great big man or a tiny tot
But from this day everyday will be boxing day
Don't need your indecision let there be no doubt
Don't need you permission i can count you out
Tko
They put the numb into number they put the cut into cutie
They put the slum into slumber and the boot into beauty
But from this day everyday will be boxing day
It's a fight to the finish let there be no doubt
As the seconds turn into minutes i can count you out
Tko
You need a back to break or a back to stab
Now your birthday suit looks dull and drab
But from this day everyday will be boxing day
Now you don't look so glamorous
Whenever i feel so amorous
I can count you out

Well, of course a boxing match is hard because boxing isn't set for you to do good. You have to force your will upon someone, but dancing you don't have to force your will. It should be a lot easier because if I make a mistake I don't get hit.

Ramble
Ramble is a boxer and he is fighting in the ring with Mad dog
who ever win the boxing fight will take home $ 76,000.00 dollars
And it would be nice for Ramble but not Mad dog because Mad dog is already a boxing champion and he already won 20 boxing fights
But his boss is trying hard to push him to win this fight and Mad dog is A Jamaican guy and Ramble is a American guy
But on the first, second and third round of the boxin g fight Ramble knocked down Mad dog and Ramble by now was winnin the fight and Mad dog kept trying hard to knock Ramble down but mad dog got up And knocked Ramble down and than Ramble knocked down Mad dog on the Fourth round, fifth round, and the six round and Mad dog Won his first Boxing fight at the Mapple Leaf Gardens here in Toronto
And he got the $76,000.00 dollars to take home
But he got congratulated by his wife and his kids
Also the good news is that now they can pay their debts of and Eventualy buy a house to live in

Breath No More
I've been looking in the mirror for so long.
That I've come to believe my souls on the other side.
Oh the little pieces falling, shatter.
Shards of me,
To sharp to put back together.
To small to matter,
But big enough to cut me into so many little pieces.
If I try to touch her,
And I bleed,
I bleed,
And I breathe,
I breathe no more.
Take a breath and I try to draw from my spirits well.
Yet again you refuse to drink like a stubborn child.
Lie to me,
Convince me that I've been sick forever.
And all of this,
Will make sense when I get better.
I know the difference,
Between myself and my reflection.
I just can't help but to wonder,
Which of us do you love.
So I bleed,
I bleed,
And I breathe,
I breathe now...
Bleed,
I bleed,
And I breathe,
I breathe,
I breathe-
I breathe no more.

Bleed To Love Her
Once again she steals away
Then she reaches out to kiss me
And how she takes my breath away
Pretending that she dont miss me
Oh...i would bleed to love her
Ooooh...bleed to love her
Whoa...i would bleed to love her
And once again she calls to me
Then she vanishes in thin air
And how she takes my breath away
Pretending that she dont care
Oh...i would bleed to love her
Ooooh...bleed to love her
Whoa...i would bleed to love her
Somebodys got to see this through
All the world is laughing at you
Somebodys got to sacrifice
If this whole things gonna turn out right
Oh...i would bleed to love her
Ooooh...bleed to love her
Whoa...i would bleed to love her

A Boxers Dream (or was it?)
He'd retired from the Boxing ring
but was bored with daily life
he not only liked to hit the bottle
but also his long suffering wife.
Then one day she up and went
which made him drink even more
I may as well be dead he thought
as he lay in a drunken stupor on the floor.
But when he finally sobered up
a gentle voice whispered into his ear,
'You'll be a champion again my son
but first give up drinking Whisky and Beer.'
The Boxer thought he was going insane
maybe the cause of one too many fights?
but the voice kept on returning
throughout the days and the nights.
But slowly he did give up the boozing
and never set foot inside his local pub
he started working out in the Gym
then went back to his old Boxing Club.
His trainer really worked him hard
then after a few months told him he was ready
so he stepped back into the ring again
but decided to take it nice and steady.
But he won that first fight in style
winning with a Fifth round knockout
the boxer felt good and alive once more
and went on to win bout after bout.
He did finally become a Champion again
as proudly in the centre of the ring he stood
then the referee whispered gently into his ear:
'See my son I told you that you would! '

Heartblood
I hope our love lasts, passed our lifetime
although some times, I know we went astray
they say all ways will seperate some day
so let them say, but hell that's not our way
and all I know, and all I know, I know my love's so deep
and all I know, and all I know, you showed a love that's so deep
I feel our hearts bleed into one, bleed into one
damn well I know, there won't be a pair to find
never two of a kind, with just one single mind
but who's to blame, and for whoever cares
our lives too short, our love's forever, yeah
cause all I know, yes, all I know, I know my love roots so deep
cause all I know, yes, all I know, you showed me love that's so deep
I feel our hearts bleed into one, feel our hearts bleed into,
I feel our hearts bleed into one, bleed into one
all I wanna feel
all I wanna feel, all I wanna feel, all I wanna feel, all I wanna feel....
cause all I know, yes, all I know, I know my love roots so deep
cause all I know, yes, all I know, you showed me love that's so deep
I feel our hearts bleed into one, feel our hearts bleed into,
I feel our hearts bleed into one, bleed into one

All Bleed Red
=========
A moral certainty
A vast controvacy
Debate the hate or recreate
A time that never should have been
Infallability
Is no necessity
Release the peace
& understand just what that means
Divided we fall
Not one but one all
When all's done
We all bleed red
We all bleed red
An understanding
Can be demanding
Retrieve believe
Back to a world that you might think
Don't be the hated
Don't be dictated
Enlight the right
And maybe then we'll make the link
Divided we fall
Not one but one all
When all's done
We all bleed red
We all bleed red
