Anxiety About The Post Death
How your progeny grows and branches
Is beyond your knowledge after death.
How people, loyal to you and to whom
You’d been, are helpful to your children
Also is beyond your comprehension.
How the things you handled, will be handled
By your progeny is a dilemma.
These pains worry you about the death.

Pretty Boy
I lie awake at night
See things in black and white
I've only got you inside my mind
You know you have made me blind
I lie awake and pray
That you will look my way
I have all this longing in my heart
I knew it right from the start
Oh my pretty pretty boy I love you
Like I never ever loved no one before you
Pretty pretty boy of mine
Just tell me you love me too
Oh my pretty pretty boy
I need you
Oh my pretty pretty boy I do
Let me inside
Make me stay right beside you
I used to write your name
And put it in a frame
And sometime I think I hear you call
Right from my bedroom wall
You stay a little while
And touch me with your smile
And what can I say to make you mine
To reach out for you in time
Oh my pretty pretty boy I love you
Like I never ever loved no one before you
Pretty pretty boy of mine
Just tell me you love me too
Oh my pretty pretty boy
I need you
Oh my pretty pretty boy I do
Let me inside
Make me stay right beside you
[BRIDGE]
Oh pretty boy
Say you love me too
Oh my pretty pretty boy I love you
Like I never ever loved no one before you
Pretty pretty boy of mine
Just tell me you love me too
Oh my pretty pretty boy
I need you
Oh my pretty pretty boy I do
Let me inside
Make me stay right beside you

One Year
What's in a year?
We watch it disappear.
Its days go by.
They seem to fly
into the ethers of the past.
A year too swiftly
does not last.
And yet each day within the year
contains within it
every single minute
where your life is resolute
and filled with purpose.
A year is not just calandar days
to be scratched off one by one.
When you do this it's then you find
you miss out on its fun.
In a year one can learn
to appreciate the time you have
to be among the living,
the time you have for giving.
In a year you learn about power
that allows you to fill each hour
with everything you love.
What's in a year?
All things new that can appear,
things you've never given thought to,
things in life you want to do.
Before the year has gone away
see before you each new day
and as the year meets its end
be one who can say
'This year has been my friend.
It gave me solace, gave me peace
and it gave me the chance to release
Pain.

Ms Luna Is Ticked
Luna...
Ticked!
We keep Ms Luna...
Ticked!
And she has handled...
It!
By stirring up the waters.
And on us storm.
Luna...
Ticked!
We keep Ms Luna...
Ticked!
And she has handled...
It!
By controlling all the fluids.
And to us she's gonna do it.
Luna...
Ticked!
We keep Ms Luna...
Ticked!
And she has handled...
It!
But she has tired of our wickedness.
And this has gotten to her quick.
She's tired of those things we've done,
Making her sick.
And getting to the bottom of it,
She's gon' let it rip!
Ms Luna...
Is ticked!
We keep Ms Luna...
Ticked!
She's tired of those things we've done,
Making her sick.
And getting to the bottom of it,
She's gon' let it rip!
By controlling all the fluids.
And to us she's gonna do it.
To convince,
Ms Luna...
Is ticked!

Luckily, he was in the process of moving to France at the time, anyway. But if he had stayed in the States, I don't know how he would have handled that, because it was getting pretty crazy. I mean, a celebrity which he really did not welcome. And I can't blame him.

Pretty Thing
Think about the good things
Think about the bad things
Think about a reason to see you tonight
Something getting hard when you rock it up
Something getting hot when you rock it up
Pretty little girl let your sweet thing sway
Never gonna treat you wrong
Tie you down pretend youre madonna
Never gonna treat you wrong
Oh you pretty thing
Shake your pretty thing
Gimmee that pretty thing
Think about the love thing
Think about the sex thing
Think about you holding me, taking me down
Something getting hard when you rock it up
Something getting hot when you rock it up
Pretty little girl let your sweet thing sway
Never gonna do you wrong
Strip you down and take you to pieces
Always gonna love this song
Oh you pretty thing
Feel that pretty thing
Suck that pretty thing
Pretty pretty pretty girl
La la la la la la la
Hey hey
Gimmie love
Pretty girl
Oh you pretty thing
Shake that pretty thing
Give me that pretty thing
Oh pretty thing
Give me that pretty thing
Shake that pretty thing
Give me that pretty thing
Oh you pretty thing
Shake that pretty thing
Heal that pretty thing

There are no taboos. Every topic is open, however shocking. It is the way that the topics are handled that's important, and that applies whether it is a 15-year-old who is reading your book or someone who is 55.

The Jet Set
Hey pal
Can I take your picture for the people back home
They wont believe it when they see this stuff
You see the camera that I got in hong kong
Completely duty free
This really is a pretty scene
Could you ask your kid to smile please
Sorry what exactly do you mean
Can you say it in english
cause were the . . .
Jet set - get out of our way
And dont be messin with the . . .
Jet set - get out of our way
We got a lot of things to see
Lets get a big mac
Get it while the dollars worth a thousand yen
Its quite a bargain here
Next year
Well save some money and well hire big en
For our anniversary
This really is a pretty scene
But Im happy I dont live here
Hey whats the matter with the waiters face
Can you say it in english
cause were the . . .
Jet set - get out of our way
And dont be messin with the . . .

More Me
I am what they call plain pretty,
an in-betweener
not really pretty
not really plain
and I attract guys
who see me as a compromise
from what they really what-
the cheer leader blond
with the hot bod.
I am the bland personality
with pretty eyes
a weak chin;
cautious
with an intense gaze
reflecting my need
to have more that what I am ever offered
by guys who are plain-pretty too
or too too nice and have the slow
uptake of the often rejected.
My world offers me only the boring.
I could do something I suppose
but I missed the ring;
I was the also ran,
the next to the last chosen
the bridesmaid;
the sidekick;
the not-as-pretty friend
and what I did was to break
free of my old world
and soar
with plastic surgery.
Last year I took the knife and now I am strangely pretty
but I still know who I am inside
and that is disturbing;
and more disturbing is that I want to
reject the guys seeking pretty
for the times the rejected me as almost pretty
and that makes me feel pretty-strange;
angry and not lovable;
not an airhead now-
but the trophy.
I thought last night
how many almost-pretty
might have been easier
and more me.

A Faithful Witness
To the firstborn of Yahseph,
Of all that is created;
To the secondborn of Yahseph,
Do set set your mind on Mount Zion;
For His name is His glory and,
Of the economic well-being.
Of the year of the rat,
Of the year of the dog,
Of the year of the cow,
Of the year of the bull,
Of the year of the sheep,
Of the year of the dragon,
Of the year of the snake,
Of the year of the pig,
Of the year of the goat,
Of the year of the lizard,
Of the year of the crocodile,
Of the year of the elephant,
Of the year of the scorpion,
Of the year of the turtle,
Of the year of the fish,
Of the year of the earth,
Of the year of the wind,
Of the year of the fire,
Of the year of the water,
And of the year of the bush!
Like the firstborns of slaves.
The hips of romance,
The faithful witness will not lie;
The same day,
The same night,
Of the love shared at where no oxen are;
And the crib was very clean.

You're Pretty Good Looking
Oh yeah you're pretty good-looking for a girl
but your back is so broken
and this feelings still gonna linger on
until the year 2525 now
yeah you're pretty good-looking for a girl
your eyes are wide open
and your thoughts have been stolen by the boys
who took you out and bought you everything you
want now
yeah you're pretty good-looking
oh yeah
you're pretty good-looking
yes youre pretty good-looking
oh yeah
for a girl
lots of people in this world
but I want to be your boy
to me that thought is sounding so absurd
and I dont wanna be your toy
cause you're pretty good-looking for a girl
my future's wide open
but this feelings still gonna linger on
until I know everything I need to know now
yeah you're pretty good-looking
oh yeah
you're pretty good-looking
yes you're pretty good-looking
oh yeah
for a girl

Pretty woman, walkin? down the street
Pretty woman the kind I'd like to meet
Pretty woman I don?t believe you, it must be true
No one could look as good as you---mercy
Pretty woman won?t you pardon me
Pretty woman I couldn?t help but see
Pretty woman oh you look lovely as can be
Are you lonely just like me---Pretty woman stop awhile

Pretty woman yeah, yeah, yeah
Pretty woman look my way
Pretty woman say you?ll stay with me-ee
Cuz I need you, Need you tonight
Pretty woman don?t walk on by
Pretty woman don?t make me cry
Pretty woman don?t walk away, hey----OK
If that?s the way it must be---OK
I guess I?ll go on home, it?s late
There'll be tomorrow night, but wait

Treat Myself
Theres a place I can go
When the tensions high and Im feeling low
In a falsh I can be in an another space
As a different me, have a new id.
I think Ill treat myself to all the pretty places in my head
Yes, Im going to treat myself to all the pretty places in my head
Theres no rich, theres no poor
Everything is love, no such word as war
Theres no black and no white
Rainbow colors they, dress the days and nights, lifes a paradise
I think Ill treat myself to all the pretty places in my head
Yes, Im going to treat myself to all the pretty places in my head
Its amazing how the mind
Can do what you want it to
It can take you to a time
Where youll want to stay forever
Feeling everlasting pleasure
If your lifes in a place
That you can hardly bare
Come along with me to mental ecstasy
I think Ill treat myself to all the pretty places in my head
Yes, Im going to treat myself to all the pretty places in my head
(repeat)
(backgrounds) whatsoever things are lovely
Whatsoever things are pure
Whatsoever things are honest
Whatsoever things are true (repeat)

Initially, I know that I handled it worse than she did and I think partly because I've always been... every bit of adversity I've faced up until the last year and a half is adversity I brought upon myself - or the opposing teams have given me.

As The Year
As the year draws to a close, and comes slowly to an end,
There's been ups and downs, and hurts on the mend;
Sometimes things got me frustrated, till I felt round the bend,
But through it all, I've coped, I have my Saviour whom I can depend.
As the year comes to the day, that we say goodbye,
To the bad times, where we had an upset, we had a good cry;
Then things happened, when things went really swell,
But whatever way things went, thanks is what, to the Lord, I tell.
As the year comes to the point of memories of the past,
With family and friends, of friendships that did last;
Then there were fights, and quarrels that happened too,
But with Christ in each life, changes happen to make it anew.
As the year will close and another year will begin,
There'll be promises made, we'll do the right thing;
Hoping everything will start to go Once more so right,
May the Lord bless each family and protect them day and night.

Pretty Mary K
Almost forgot
Started to say
Rode into the sun
Asked everyone
Haleluja
Pretty mary k
I found faith in the infirmary
Theres a soldier lying in bed
With a wound to the head
Calling out to pretty mary k
Heres what you get
For things that havent happened yet
Happened upon pretty mary k
But a soldiers uniform
Waved me away
Walk round the door
Talked to st. james
Though Im already done
Ask everyone
Have you seen her
Pretty mary k
Have you seen her
Pretty mary k
