I could not finish the rest of the tours the band had planned. I was replaced by Matt Cameron. The next years of my life were about recovery, healing, and right living. I never lost the need to create.

In my last band, Soundgarden, I had a couple of different drummers sit in on some stuff and it was fun for me to kind of take a break and watch the band.

Joining another big time rock band was the last thing I was looking for, but as the tour went on, I really dug playing to a lot of people, the band sounded great, and just being out there again, got me over my depression and so I decided to hop on board.

I think every band is a little cautious when the drummer starts to write tunes.

Ben was more improvisational, and relied less on methodology, and basically is a guitarist who switched to bass, whereas Jeff has a more traditional approach to playing bass in a band, and has a great sense of what his band sounds like, and we lock up nicely.

But I've always liked to be the kind of drummer and musician who likes to go outside of what's expected of me, and I've always been able to do more than you necessarily hear with every band I've ever played in.

A lot of times, when a band finds success with a certain style or sound, they have a really hard time breaking away from that to grow as artists.

I would never want to live in L.A., and I made that decision years ago, so I never chose that path for myself, although I have much respect for those that do it at a high level.

So, I just kind of played the way I played and then eventually we kind of figured out what worked best for the band. So, I definitely changed my stuff up and I think we're playing really tight now.

One of the reasons we survive as a band is that we are seen as a band of today. We don't want to be seen as a band that tours and plays old songs. We feel that we are making the best music of our careers.

Till We Get The Healing Done
Down those old ancient streets
Down those old ancient roads
Baby there together we must go
Till we get the healing done
Till we get the healing done
Till youre satisfied with your life
Till youre satisfied with your life
Till youre satisfied with your life
And its running right, and its running right
Till you deal with the poison inside
Sometimes youve got to sit down and cry
When you deal with the poison inside
Till we get the healing done
Till we get the healing done
Till you feel the tingle up your spine
Till youre satisfied and youre mine
Till you feel a tingle up your spine
Till we get the healing done
Till we get the healing done
Till you live in the glory of the one
Till you live in the land of the sun
Till you feel like your life has just begun
Till we get the healing done
Till we get the healing done
Till we dwell in the house of the lord
Till you dont have to worry no more
Till you open a brand new world
Till we get the healing done
Till we get the healing done
Till it makes you feel alright
Till youre satisfied with your life
Till you know you live in the light
Till we get the healing done
Oh till we get the healing done
Till you look at the mountains every day
Till you wash all your troubles away
And you live right here in the day
Till we get the healing done
Oh till we get the healing done
Oh till its truth and its beauty and its grace
Till youve finally found your true place
Till you know your original face
Till we get the healing done
Oh child, till we get the healing done
Oh when everythings going right
Till youre satisfied with your life
Till youre living in the light
Till we get the healing done
Oh till we get the healing done
Oh when you feel it, when you feel it in your soul
Baby, and you really know
That you reap just what you sow
When we get the healing done
Oh till we get the healing done
Till you know that its working every time
Till you work it out in your mind
And you know it straight down the line
Till you get the healing done
Oh make no worry till we get the healing done
Oh we gonna go back, back to our favourite place
Oh look at it again
See it all through different eyes
When we get the healing done
Oh when we get the healing done
Oh were living for the grace of the lord
Baby feel so good about it all
Oh give thanks every day
Till we get the healing done
Oh till we get the healing done
Till we get the healing done
Oh baby, baby till we get the healing done
Till we get the healing done
Baby you got to stay
Till we get the healing done
If it takes to the break of day
Till we get the healing done
Till we get the healing done
Till we get the healing done
Till we get the healing done
You got to stay all night long
Till we get the healing done

Hats Off To You Dr. Cameron and JoAnn
Dr. Cameron with your shiny bright smile
let me stay longer and rest for a while.
I really felt rested finally at last-
your acupuncture worked
I slept better that night on my back.
Thank you Dr. Cameron for your sincere concern
reminding me to build strength; be merry
which I took to heart and learned.
Dr. Cameron has studied in Japan and China too
He knows a lot about pain management
meditation and Qi Gong which is true.
Jo Ann who is your receptionist is sweet and great
Jo Ann made room for me that very same day.
Jo Ann is very spiritual and has given me great advice
she knows firsthand and feels it's a blessing I have a new life.
All of your clients take their hats off to both of you!
Your clients feel at home and soothed-
receiving healing acupuncture that makes them feel renewed!

Back On My Feet
God will supply my need each day, while in my bed I humbly lay,
The surgeon has finished his end, now healing time I must spend.
He helps me not to grimace or pout, as God works all things out.
And although the pain is truly real, God’s healing touch I can feel.
While in recovery where I had to lie, Mercy, God began to supply,
As that pain began to subside, God’s Grace could not be denied.
Resting in God’s Mighty Hand, steadfast, I did continue to stand,
All the pain I know I should feel, was truly absent from the ordeal.
My recovery’s now been reduced, for The Lord’s Grace is loosed,
On my body God began to shower, His Grace and Healing Power,
Guiding the surgeon’s hands first, God gave me His healing burst,
As God’s healing power is poured, upon my body, to be restored.
Now back on my feet days prior to, a target date I originally knew,
Prescribed by the doctor God led, God speedup recovery instead,
And even the doctor was amazed, while back to health I am raised,
Raised up by The Lord over all, my progress put my doctor in awe.
Now to my Lord I joyfully raise, heartfelt thanks and tons of praise,
Almost back to normal long before, it was stated I’d see that door;
I praise God for His Grace and Love, as I praise my Lord up above,
Who saw me through a dark time, because I am His and He is mine.

Happy
I feel very happy :)
Whenever he comes back
From his official tours…
However much
We bicker, squabble
Or fight,
Something
Just doesn't
Feel right -
When he isn't
There with me.
We've been a couple
For more than twelve
Years now…
I'm so used to his
Presence, that his
Absence irks me.
He's my life's
Best friend,
Loving and
Accepting me
The way I am.
No wonder,
Whenever
He returns
Home from his
Tours, it feels like
Happy homecoming
To me :)

Recovery
(john farrar/tom snow)
I live on an island far away
All by myself, theres no one else
Nobody calls, but thats okay
Dont need their help, Im by myself
Nobody here to make a career
Of hurting me, deserting me
Your crazy life aint ever gonna get me
Dont worry about my recovery
Cause lover, you wont recover me
Im not too low, Im not too high
Ill get by makin my recovery
When I go wrong as people do
Theres only me to answer to
Nobody here to bring me down
No feelings I need step around
Trouble and care are waiting out there
But Im alright, Im safe tonight
Your crazy life aint ever gonna get me
Dont worry about my recovery
Cause lover, you wont recover me
Im not too low, Im not too high
Ill get by makin my recovery
Dont need your sympathy
Save all your tears
Ive lived without tenderness
For too many years
Why would I need it now
Nobody here to make a career
Of hurting me, deserting me
Your crazy life aint ever gonna get me
Dont worry about my recovery
Cause lover, you wont recover me
Im not too low, Im not too high
Ill get by makin my recovery
