'And yet,' demanded Councilor Barlow, 'what's he done Has he ever done a day's work in his life What great cause is he identified with' 'He's identified,' said the first speaker, 'with the great cause of cheering us all up.'

When Obstacles Are Identified

When obstacles are identified in your life...
There is no need to keep them around as souvenirs.
They are obstacles.
Get rid of them.
Whether they are mental or physical.
Moving and breathing on two legs or not.
Tolerate them or keep them blocked out,
If you wish.
As if they did not exist!
And yet you allow them to persist.

When obstacles are identified in your life...
There is no need to keep them around as souvenirs.
Or classify them as friends.
Or habits you can not do without!
To keep you hemmed in with your life knocked out.
When obstacles are identified in your life...
Get rid of them.
Befriending them is not advisable.
Unless you suffer from a need to bleed?
And that's sad.

Not hopeless!
But still sad.

Off Of a Blinded Rollercoaster Ride

It is a great feeling,
To live with peace of mind.
And not trying to find,
Either acceptance or approval.

When this blessing is identified...
Conflicts observed and heard,
Do not disturb!
Or come close to pinch a nerve.

When the blessing of peace of mind,
Becomes identified...
It solidifies one's right,
To get off of a blinded rollercoaster ride.

It is a great feeling,
To live with peace of mind.
And not trying to find,
Either acceptance or approval.

Our Definition Of Satisfaction

It can only be identified,
In this life...
As being what it is.

And many wish,
To re-label what exists...
As something different.
To perpetuate fresh arguments.

There will be debates updated.
With some left pouting,
To show a round of frowns...
Twisted down on poked out lips.

But...
It can only be identified,
In this life...
As beinf what it is!

And...
That is going to remain that way,
Until inventions are created and made...
To further confuse with dismay,
Our definition of satisfaction....
Some insist it fits and theirs to permanently stay.

The Higher Education

(Harvard's prestige in football is a leading factor. The best players in the leading preparatory schools prefer to study at Cambridge, where they can earn fame on the gridiron. They do not care to be identified with Yale and Princeton.--JOE VILA in the Evening Sun.)

"Father," began the growing youth,
"Your pleading finds me deaf;
Although I know you speak the truth
About the course at Shef.
But think you that I have no pride,
To follow such a trail?
I cannot be identified
With Princeton or with Yale."

"Father," began another lad,
Emerging from his prep;
"I know you are a Princeton grad,
But the coaches have no pep.
But though the Princeton profs provide
Fine courses to inhale;
I cannot be identified
With Princeton or with Yale."

"I know," he said, "that Learning helps
A lot of growing chaps;
That Yale has William Lyon Phelps,
And Princeton Edward Capps.
But while, within the Football Guide,
The Haughton hosts prevail,
I cannot be identified
With Princeton or with Yale."

Whip

Great Great Great Great
is thy work
The fortune hunter
your uninterrupted lamp
has
torch light out the
parasite in their closet
like an erosion that called
the black pot of sacrifice of the perpetrator
Great Great Great Great
is thy work
The fervent farmer
your crude instrument
has
uprooted the unwanted ornament
in the vineyard
like locus waiting the planter

Great Great Great Great
is thy work
The lean steward
you never sleep nor slumber
in the quest of monitoring the
offender in the field like Nigeria
EFCC punching out the beautiful criminals

Great Great Great Great
is thy work
The no nonsense headmaster
with this
masquerade Cain whipping
the deaf prefect in the school of moral

The whip that caution the senior wife
is at the top of the roof for
YOU

Where woman lacks importance

Delivered and moulded by my mother,
I was identified with my father,
Who, delivered and moulded by mother,
Was identified with his father.

I go with my son; wife is an onlooker.
The son of my daughter I've no claim on.
In each generation, mother is removed
From the memory line of the family.

Let my name carry the name of mother
And of father behind it to the world.
Let me have the names of the grand mothers
And grandfathers on both sides in record.

Great Expectations

(eric carmen)
Seems everyday
Im gettin harder pressed
To find a reason to shave
Watchin the hours
Just slippin away
No motivation to get out of bed
And carry on the charade
Caught in a dream thats goin astray
Oh, all those great expectations
Seems they never work out, never work out
The way that I plan
All those great expectations
Why they never work out, never work out
I cant understand
And just when I think
That things are goin right
I get a call from l.a.
Sorry to say were changin your song
I try to reason
But I cant get through
Theyre gonna do it their way
What can I say
Theyve never been wrong
Oh, all those great expectations
Seems they never work out, never work out
The way that I plan
All those great expectations
Why they never work out, never work out
I cant understand
Life is just a game of chance
I think somebody said so
Sometimes you get a hula hoop
Sometimes you get an edsel
Oh, all those great expectations
Seems they never work out, never work out
The way that I plan
All those great expectations
Why they never work out, never work out
I cant understand

The Identity

Every flower that's ever lived
has had its bloom, then died.
The beauty was while blooming.
It's how it's identified.

Every love that's come about
has bloomed and never dies.
The beauty in this is the knowing
that it lasts after the goodbyes.

For love is stronger than 'death do us part.'
It stays with the one left behind.
And for the one that leaves and goes their way
You still are in their mind.

Only the body withers away.
It lived and than it died.
But like the flower that had its bloom,
Love is how it's identified.

Are YOU afraid that you have been identified?
Are ya stewin' in your own juices honey?
While your PC actions are clarified? ;

With those cute little ole' attachments your sendin'---
But ya know they ain't no good---
Are you worried at all little darlin?
The shrew of the neighborhood;

Some Of Who Have Been Identified.
This is the kind of thing that should
Never go on but it does and it is a
Very cruel and sick thing.

Dedicated to all of you who have been

Until The Existence Comes Along

Reason only establishes the need,
Of a thing yet to become identified.
Having reason does not establish its existence,
To validate a presence of it.
Nor provide yet a truth for all to witness to believe.

A reason is in need of a companion sought.
To confirm there is an 'is' to existing facts.
And if a heart one feels is felt to be vacant...
An attraction to another,
Can dispute a vacancy with an interaction matched.

Reason only establishes the need,
Of a thing yet to become identified.
Until the existence comes along,
To confirm the feeling...
That achieves a satisfaction by the reality of the act.

And...With The Secret Of Sins

It is unmistakably,
A feeling arriving from within.
When desires and wishes begin to connect,
And strongly identified...
With a drive that opens eyes wide,
To what 'has' to happen in discreetly taken steps...
That which only,
One's heart accepts.

And...
With the secret of sins,
Beginning untentionally implemented...
There is no stopping one craving and brave,
Having a taste that stays.
With employing deception...
If that's what it takes.

With the secret of sins committed,
And praying to be forgiven for them...
One acquires a thirst to achieve.
To sacrifice what is wrong or right.
And disregarding appearances of getting no rest...
On more than a few sleepless nights.

With a secret of sins committed,
And feeling guilt ridden within...
One knows a task has to be accomplished.
One so great the correctness of ways,
Must be forsaken.
To nibble on a wrong or two to chew...
The only thing felt one has to choose to do.

It is unmistakably,
A feeling arriving from within.
When desires and wishes begin to connect,
And strongly identified...
With a drive that opens eyes wide.

And it is with a secret of sins committed,
And feeling guilt ridden within...
One knows a task has to be accomplished.
One so great the correctness of ways,
Must be forsaken.

All The Emotion Evoked

Now where shall I take the high tide of emotion
seeing that I have finished reading the story of
Tiffany Aching - the book is too short; the great
promise of it beginning when she demanded a
full-scale hearing while every element seemed
to be against her - which made me shudder on
her behalf - turned benevolent universe MUCH
too soon and with the odds not stacked against
her victory was too easy and she was given all
help, suddenly she was such a sure-fire winner
riding the tide and I no longer identified with the
protagonist - my heroines always have to suffer
much longer with more challenges to overcome
I was ready to face a lot of pain - just to find the
ride too short, too few obstacles, the bride-to-be
was a special witch great at dealing with ghosts;
all misunderstanding solved too easily - I prefer
complications and intrigues for a sweet heroine
but Terry Pratchett spun a beautiful tale - to be
embroidered - until it contains all the pain I can
imagine - he remains my favourite author - all
the emotion evoked will be used to experience
and recreate fairytales old and new in my head

I Shall Wear Midnight - Terry Pratchett -
What a Wonderful Book!

Mother, O Mother

Mother O Mother, You Are Great
Mother O Mother you are great,
All the problems solve in any state,
Still we find there is no hate,
Each and everyone you make your mate,

Love is in your heart, your work is very smart,
All your whole life you carry the home-cart,
In your job there is no wait,
Mother, O Mother you are great.

Working all the time,
To make our things fine,
Guiding always to be far from crime,
In your work there is no late,
Mother O Mother you are great,

Caring for us, praying for us,
Struggling for us, standing for us,
With your efforts, make our bright fate,
Mother O Mother you are great,

You are my lord, you are my God,
In your service there is no fraud,
With your blessings, life is always set,
Mother O Mother you are great.

With A Failure Hailed And Assailed

They wanted to see him fail.
With a failure that would prevail.
And when they were done,
Their efforts had won.
With a failure hailed and assailed,
To belong and identified...
With each and everyone!

They wanted to see him fail.
With a failure that would prevail.
And when they were done,
Their efforts had won.
With a failure hailed and assailed,
To belong and identified...
With each,
And everyone that sung,
'Failure, failure...
Failure to us has come.'

~Your Highness?
I do not intend to be rude,
But...
Are You absolutely sure,
THIS is the planet...
You recommend to embark upon,
With 'our' teachings.~

*Oh YES.
Don't fret!
I am,
Indeed...
Absolutely sure of it! *
