Whenever I'm caught between two evils, I take the one I've never tried.

Sonnet: Life’s Dilemma
I’m caught between the twain of God/money!
Between my duty and my selfishness;
Between life’s bitterness and it’s honey;
Between my charity and greediness.
I’m caught between my honesty and lies!
Between my ambitions and sacrifice;
Between life’s virtues, evils/ bad advice;
Between good deeds and bad ones that entice.
I’m caught between my pangs of sin/good deeds;
Between material things and those divine;
Between corporeal and of soul’s needs;
Between the calls of God and thoughts of mine.
I’m caught between the devils and my God!
’Tween Hell and Heaven’s Eternal reward.

Time is the inventor
.
Time, you are the greatest inventor.
You have invented evils
For every remedy I have found.
Evils demand remedies
And remedies fetch evils.
Time, you are my counter inventer.

All a man's affairs become diseased when he wishes to cure evils by evils.
There are no necessary evils in government. Its evils exist only in its abuses.

Man Forgets
Man, He seems to always forget
His sins from his own conflict,
And the evils he does against another man.
But then he will always remember
That one cold day in that one December,
When he gave out a helping hand.
He will remember his deed of good
When he helped another as he should,
But he’ll forget the evils that he has also done.
He will forget when he had cheated and had lied
When he had stolen and abused and cried,
And when he lost, but instead he said he had won.
Man will forget his pity and his shame
Will not remember his losses but only his gain,
His deeds will be like coal and its dying ember.
He will forget all of his evils ways
As he hoped that they will all be washed away,
But what Man forgets, GOD he will remember.

Lazy Eye
The world spins round the secret lives
Of everyone that needs to hide
A cheap parade of endless lies
Filters through this lazy eye
And I dont believe in signs
No, I dont believe your lies
Caught in the breakdown
Caught in the breakdown
Caught in the breakdown
Caught in the breakdown
Lose yourself in no ones life
Trapped in nowheres empty light
Words like fists that tear you down
Crash before we hit the ground
And I dont believe in signs
No, I dont believe your lies
Caught in the breakdown
Caught in the breakdown
Caught in the breakdown
Caught in the breakdown
And I dont believe in signs
No, I dont believe your lies
No, I dont believe your lies
Caught in the breakdown
Caught in the breakdown
Caught in the breakdown
Caught in the breakdown

I Heard The Roar On Maha-shivaratri
I heard the bum bum Bhole on Maha Shiva Ratri
Herd of kanwarias sing and dance their hymns play,
And wild and sweet the roar repeat
Of happiness in the nation, destruction of evils in men.
Mesmerized, I brood, as the morning had come,
To offer the holy waters on the divine Shiva Linga
Devotes had marched along the unbroken hymns
Of happiness in the nation, destruction of evils in men.
But in despair I shook my head:
‘There is no happiness in my nation, ’ I cried
‘For hate and depression is high, and laughs at the hymns
Of happiness in the nation, destruction of evils in men.
Then read the beads more lost and loud:
‘Lord Shiva is still there looking at all our deeds;
The evil will be destroyed, the goodness prevail,
Of happiness in the nation, destruction of evils in men.
Kanwarias ringing, singing all through their way,
The nation awakened from night to day
Mighty Tandava, a roar, a chant sublime,
Of happiness in the nation, destruction of evils in men.

I Love God/For The Beauty Of The World
I love God
For the Beauty of the world-
For the people I care for in my life-
For so much Blessing -
But what of the the hole in the ground?
The distant cold at the end of everything?
The injustices the evils
They are God's too-
I love God for the blessings
But what of the evils?

Sonnet- Modern Day Evils
What changes society has undergone!
The modern evils are condemnable;
Terrorism, bomb-cult that disable
Progress and life of nations every morn!
Riddled are people by bullets often;
Persons are knifed in broad daylight ev’n now;
Men and women with strapped-on bombs kill, Oh;
Leaders assassinated by such men!
Something is wrong basically today;
These modern evils just paralyze life;
Counter-measures are not enough anyway;
Truly manmade have become death and strife.
Human progress has led to more evils;
To destroy lives and souls- roam these devils!

Caught In A Trap
Sometimes you get caught in a trap and you dont know it
Sometimes its better to get out while you know it
Some people never learn they keep on falling
You can never get out if you keep on stalling
Then you get,
(chorus:) caught in a trap caught in dead end
Caught in a trap with nowhere to run
Then you get, caught in a trap caught in dead end
Nowhere to turn but it cant go on
Caught in a trap
Sometimes you got to know where to run for cover
Sometimes your better out till the heat is over
Ah you get (chorus)
Caught in a trap
Dont know how it happened but then its too late
Then you gotta move on the times, you cant wait
Cus you got (chorus)

Crossfire
You win or lose a penny.
What does it matter any.
We all are gamblers just by livin.
You hold a hopeless token.
Even though your heart is broken.
cause youve nothin left for the love youre givin.
(chorus)
Caught in the crossfire.
Caught in the crossfire ... of love.
Caught in the crossfire.
Caught in the crossfire ... of love.
Caught in the crossfire.
Caught in the crossfire.
You played your hand at poker.
But do you understand this joker.
Who shot down all your hopes and dreams.
Why do they always hurt you.
You think they wont but you know theyre sure to.
Cant trust a soul no more it seems.
(chorus)
Caught in the crossfire.
Caught in the crossfire.
You caught your love red handed.
Been stuck up like a bandit.
Crossfire.
Low down dirty underhanded.
Just aint right cant understand it.
Crossfire.
(chorus)
Caught in the crossfire.
Caught in the crossfire.

Goes Around, Comes Around
What goes around, comes around
As I always have been told,
So what you have done unto others,
Unto you, someday the same will unfold.
The evils that you have held
And the lies that you have spoke,
Someday you will be visited by them all
And by those deeds alone, you will choke.
Karma will come and get you
From it you cannot run and or hide
She will follow till your end on Earth
And she’ll mock you the day that you die.
What goes around comes around
Truer words have never been said
Your life will be full of sadness and pain
From the life that you once had led.
To the pain and suffering that you caused
From the evils and lies that you dealt
Believing lies that you told and hold
For you there will be a special place in Hell.
And you might not die alone
You might have your family and or friends
But when your passing has came and gone
No one will think good of you, ever again.
What comes around, goes around
I think deeply on that thought,
Because nothing truly can you hide from man
And from GOD, your always caught.
You might lie only to lie to yourself
But then soon, it comes back to you
And then you see the pain that you caused
Then they’ll will be nothing that you can do.
Suffering will be yours alone forever
Your moaning in pain will be your only sound
And I myself will mock and ignore you
For as they say, what comes around, goes around.

No Insight to See
Return those evils to where they come from,
Father.
Or...
Let them become aware,
You are there and will not leave my side.
Return those evils to where they come from,
Father.
Or...
At least have them awaken,
To see themselves as they are.
With a removal from that which continues,
To delude the relationship...
They believe they have with YOU!
Yet too blind as to 'WHO and WHAT YOU are!
With no insight to see their ways as being wicked.

Caught In The Crossfire

On assignment to the new world
They said thered be more chance for war
Missed the shuttle to the main star
They promised theyd be back for more, oh yeah
Then the warships came without a sound
There were at least a hundred of them bearing down
Caught in the crossfire
Caught in a world insane, lord
War of the empire
No one will be the same, oh
Caught in the crossfire
Caught in a new age war, we were
I heard somebody say wed be wasted
Under fire we were without defense
My buddy said he had a space van
A long range cruiser, it was our only chance, oh yeah
We could see no way out but one
There was no choice but to try and run
Caught in the crossfire
Caught in a world insane, lord
War of the empire
No one will be the same, oh
Caught in the crossfire
Caught in a new age war, we were
Odyssey, laser fight
One shot, last fight
Passed the warships through the neutral zone
Our engines sheared the night as we raced for home
Caught in the crossfire
Caught in a world insane, lord
War of the empire
No one will be the same, oh
Caught in the crossfire
Caught in a new age war, we were
Caught in the crossfire
Caught in a new age war

Forgive And Forget
Forgive and forget as I've been told
That query keeps coming to my mind
As 'I forgive' is the easiest words for one to say
But to forget, to me it seems like a crime.
To forget the evils that someone has done
Or even the evils or lies that they had spoke
To walk away as they never had accrued
As though to have a nightmare and never to awoke.
When we were young we are taught by our elders
To forgive the trespasses against us one and all
We must forget the pain and suffering that we felt
And must lock that away behind our own brick wall.
The lies and the evils that were done to us,
Even by friends and the ones who we had loved
We must then say that I forgive you one and all
And to some, that forgiveness is not even enough.
Forgive and forget those words we have heard
Even the bible does speak the same
To forgive the sins that were committed against us all
And so against no one can we ever curse or blame.
Sometimes though it seems like in this life
The wrong doers are always asking to forgive and forget
And then the moment that you smile and accept their request
They attack you, and they feel no sadness or regret.
Forgiving sometimes it is so very hard to do
And then to forget that person of their evil deeds
While trying not to remember what they have done to you
While wishing in them, you once again could believe.
Now as I think about my very own past
Of all the wrongs and evil deeds to me I must accept
I read that forgiveness is mine so said the Lord
So now I toss the evils done to me off to forgive and forget.

There Is No Poem I Can Write / That Can Deal With The Threats
There is no poem I can write
That can deal with the threats
To our very existence-
There is no poem I can write
That can imagine the horrors
We might go through-
Nothing I say and nothing I know
Can prepare
For the evils that might come-
We live on the edge of an ‘abyss’
For which ‘abyss’ is a tame word
And we get by each day
By ignoring the ‘hells’ that might come to us-
Evils worse than death may await us
And nothing I say or write
Can contend with this-

Caught Up
Caught Up"
I'm the kind of brotha
Who been doin' it my way
Gettin' my way for years
In my career
And every lover
In and out my life
I've hit, love and left the tears
Without a care
Until I met this girl who turned the tables around
She caught me by surprise
I never thought I'd be the one breaking down
I cant figure it out why
I'm so
Caught up
Got me feelin' it
Caught up
I don't know what it is
But it seems shes got me twisted
I'm so
Caught up
Got me feelin' it
Caught up
I'm losin' control
This girls got a hold on me
Let me go baby
Now listen
My momma told me
Be careful who you do cuz karma comes back around
Same ol' song
But I was so sure
That it wouldnt happen to me
Cuz I know how to put it down
But I was so wrong
This girl was mean
She really turned me out
Her body was so tight
I'm lookin' for her in the daytime with a flashlight
My homies say this girl is crampin' my style
And I can't figure it out but
I'm so
Caught up
Got me feelin' it
Caught up
I don't know what it is
But it seems shes got me twisted
I'm so
Caught up
Got me feelin' it
Caught up
I'm losin' control
This girls got a hold
I'm so
Caught up
Really feelin' it
Caught up
I don't know what it is
But it seems shes got me twisted
I'm so
Caught up
Really feelin' it
Caught up
I'm losin' control
This girls got a hold on me
And I think I like it baby
Oh nooo, oh no
Ooh, yeaah, oh my
This girl was mean
She really turned me out
Yeah, yeah, yeah, suga
My homies say this girl is crampin' my style
I'm so
Caught up
Caught up
Don't know what it is
But it seems shes got me twisted
I'm so
Caught up
Really feelin' it
Caught up
I'm losin' control
This girls got a hold
I'm so
Caught up
Im so
Caught up
I don't know what it is
But it seems shes got me twisted
I'm
Caught up
Really feelin' it
Caught up
I'm losin' control
This girls got a hold on me
