These men were religious when the spirit of religion was buried in forms and ceremonies, and when the priesthood had armed itself with the civil powers to put down all opposition, and suppress all freedom, intellectual, civil, and religious.

God, the supreme ruler

No power or authority greater than the GOD
Generator, Operator and Destroyer of universe,
Ruler of rulers, absolute king to rule over all,
No power or authority greater than the GOD.
We must have true faith in supreme ruler, The Lord
He fulfils all wishes of his children as he desires.
No power or authority greater than the GOD
Generator, Operator and Destroyer of universe.

Generator, Operator and Destroyer of universe
As sole judge punishes all sinners even rulers.
By health, wealth, comfort, joy rewards believers
Generator, Operator and Destroyer of universe.
Nothing is impossible for the God in universe
It's the God who appoints and removes all rulers
Generator, Operator and Destroyer of universe
As sole judge punishes all sinners even rulers

Plastic Bag

1977 and we are going mad
It's 1977 and we've seen to many ads
1977 and we're gonna show them all
That apathy's a drag
My mind is like a plastic bag
That corresponds to all those ads
It sucks up all the rubbish
That is fed in through by ear
I eat kleenex for breakfast
And use soft hygienic weetabix
To dry my tears
My mind is like a switchboard
With crossed and tangled lines
Contented with confusion
That is plugged into my head
I dont't know what's going on
It's the operators job, not mine
I said
My dreams I daren't remember
Or tell you what I've seen
I dreamt that I was hitler
The ruler of the see
The ruler of the universe
The ruler of the supermarkets
And even fatalistic me

J.M. Coetzee

As during the time of kings it would have been naive to think that the king’s firstborn son would be the fittest to rule, so in our time it is naive to think that the democratically elected ruler will be
the fittest. The rule of succession is not a formula for identifying the best ruler, it is a formula for conferring legitimacy on someone or other and thus forestalling civil conflict.

The altar

What use is a church,
what use are religious people to me,
when the love of Christ,
I do not in them and in it see
and when they act like religious fanatics
as if they are here to be judge and jury
and have all the facts?

Even going so far in writing,
to dare me to act with destruction,
when it lies in my hands?

And I refrain from that kind of thing,
scared that somehow, some of their members,
are sincere followers of Jesus Christ,
whom I may also harm.

I take the Bible as the book, the only one
which spells out the gospel of my life,
gives explanations of the beyond
and shows the things to come
and every day in humility
I stand on my knees,
trying to make my heart
the altar of my own church.

The Ruler

the ruler
gives us an edge

where we
shall trust

to make
straight lines

from him
we make

houses and
landscapes

the ruler
this mere instrument
this tool
this wood with numbers
a measure

Easier to Digest

Civil unrest
Civil war
Civil chaos
Or...
My personal favorite,
Civil disobedience!

Which of these has more flavor...
And yet caffeine free?
More taste,
And yet less filling?

'I vote we go with civil unrest!
It's easier to digest...
And maintains that robust appeal.'

Now we are getting somewhere!
And you George...
What would you like?

Interrupted Thoughts

Curiosity feels like a blooming flower
as so many emotions do
Where their beauty eeks out the scourge of our soul
so the blossom of discovery unfolds and reveals...

We are happy today, and wonder why
the grand scheme of things is ours to meddle with
The mortals that we pretend to be
are finally in tune with all the wonders of...

The universe lifts us up and carries us fearfully astray
because there are so many unknowns
Why do we think we have so much
and cannot give away the little that we have for...

Others are the inspiration for our humility
and grant us insight
because it is in the blessings of others
that we reach our own enlightenment...

Knowing My Consciousness Is Being Address

What has been the affect of my blessings?
I suppose it is the peace of mind I find.
And being inquisitive about life,
Has never been treated by me as a commodity
I awaken fascinated.

I imagine myself floating through space,
With an awareness of no boundaries.
Or limitations of any kind taken place.
And when I finally come down to Earth...
I'm reminded how blind and insensitive,
The feeding of greed...
Has left the majority of people to believe,
The Universe is not an 'entity' that knows and breathes...
Every detail of their existence.
The tremendousness of this Supreme Majesticness,
Has to know!

What has been the affect of my blessings?
Knowing my consciousness is being address,
By a power too great for me to envision.
But from 'IT' I get a sense of approval.
And from 'IT' I get a motivation that keeps me devoted.
And from 'IT' I get immediate feedback....
From millions of years,
Servicing wisdoms far greater than my own limitation.

That has been the affect,
Of acknowledging I've been blessed.

Let I get my thoughts

Let I get my thoughts, my verses from You
who reigns supreme over everything
and in it let You bless me as You constantly do,
to make everyone of my words sing

and let others boast
of finding supreme power
from a familiar ghost
in which they flower

and let them in that spirit dwell
while You dwell with me in tranquillity
and let them be dignified and of its powers tell
while You guide me in every activity:

and although their works play out as a lucky clover
in my writing Your blessings resound over and over.
