The university exchange programme Erasmus is barely mentioned in the business sections of newspapers, yet Erasmus has created the first generation of young Europeans. I call it a sexual revolution: a young Catalan man meets a Flemish girl – they fall in love, they get married and they become European, as do their children. The Erasmus idea should be compulsory – not just for students, but also for taxi drivers, plumbers and other workers. By this, I mean they need to spend time in other countries within the European Union; they should integrate

Shes So European
She walked in like a lady, with a glass of pink champagne
I wouldnt look if you paid me, cause to me shes still the same
Well you oughtta see her, wearin her heart on her sleeves
Youd never believe her, shes got a well-planned look in her eyes
Shes so european, shes one of a kind, one of a kind
Shes so european, shes one of a kind, all in her mind
And shes so european, I found out today
She still speaks with an accent from a week in san tropez
She makes love on her brass bed cause her parents are still away
Well you oughtta see her, countin the stars in her eyes
Youd never believe her, shes got a well-planned coverless smile
Shes so european, shes one of a kind, all in her mind
Shes so european, shes one of a kind, all in her mind
And shes so european, she told me today
I wanna hold her tight all through the night, I must be dreamin
I wanna take my time, shes so refined, is that her screamin
Ive seen the looks in your eyes, youve seen through her disguise, yeah
Shes so european, shes so european, one of a kind, all in her mind....

The Murder of the Orient Express
Since 1883, the European railway that linked Paris to Istanbul was born.
It had a world famous name or you can call it an 'address',
It made murder mysteries famous, --Agatha Christie's,
'The Murder on the Orient Express',
- the first European transcontinental train was born.
For almost 127 years, the train rattled and roamed the European countryside
With the best food and drink at the time and 'coachettes' for sleeping
Going trough little villages and big cities,
The people on board, most of them happy but some of them weeping.
'City of New Orleans', a train that was the idea of the song by the same name,
-it was written by Steve Goodman,
And made famous by Arlo Guthrie.
Whose father, Woody Guthrie, by his American Folk Style music was his fame.
Crosby, Stills, and Nash, sang about train the 'Marrakesh Express'.
What song will be written about the demise of The Orient Express?
I've traveled countries in Europe, it was fun and it was intimate,
-you can get close to people from all over.
I remember sitting next to a German music librarian from Leipzig.
We talked about J. S. Bach and the wall.
That was in 1979, on a train that was bound to Copenhagen from Venice.
The wall came down 10 years later, and there was such happiness and bliss after a couple generations between Allied and Warsaw Pact countries which were full of strife.
I remember a few Italian soldiers who shared their homemade wine with me
So technology has brought and end to 'yesteryears' way of life.
The cheap air travel, the speed which one can travel, both day and night,
Would've been beyond comprehension the latter part of the 19th century person.
What will travel look like 127 years hence?
Providing, world does end in December 21,2012.
Will it be supersonic travel at MACH 5*?
Will it be teleportation?
The future generations will see.

Freedom To My People
Dear peacekeeper
Please give freedom to my people here at home
And in the world
Some of my people have fanilies in the countries that are in war
But some of mypeople already lost their loved ones in the war in their Countries that are in war
That is because they served in the army of their country that is in the War
But they never returned home because they died fighting in the war in Their countries
So their loved ones had to pay a big price
Because at the same time they had to sacrifice their lives for their Countries at war
But my people here at home can't wait for the war to end at their Countries
So that they can go back to their countries that they came from
