The Saga Begins
A long, long time ago
In a galaxy far away
Naboo was under an attack
And I thought me and qui-gon jinn
Could talk the federation into
Maybe cutting them a little slack
But their response, it didnt thrill us
They locked the doors and tried to kill us
We escaped from that gas
Then met jar jar and boss nass
We took a bongo from the scene
And we went to theed to see the queen
We all wound up on tatooine
Thats where we found this boy...
Oh my my this here anakin guy
May be vader someday later - now hes just a small fry
And he left his home and kissed his mommy goodbye
Sayin soon Im gonna be a jedi
Soon Im gonna be a jedi
Did you know this junkyard slave
Isnt even old enough to shave
And he can use the force, they say
Ahh, do you see him hitting on the queen
Though hes just nine and shes fourteen
Yah, hes probably gonna marry her someday
Well, I knew he built c-3po
And Ive heard how fast his pod can go
And we were broke, its true
So we made a wager or two
He was a prepubescent flyin ace
And the minute jabba started off that race
Well, I knew who would win first place
Oh yes, it was our boy
We started singin ...
My my this here anakin guy
May be vader someday later - now hes just a small fry
And he left his home and kissed his mommy goodbye
Sayin soon Im gonna be a jedi
Soon Im gonna be a jedi
Now we finally got to coruscant
The jedi council we knew would want
To see how good the boy could be
So we took him there and we told the tale
How his midi-chlorians were off the scale
And he might fulfill that prophecy
Oh, the council was impressed, of course
Could he bring balance to the force?
They interview the kid
Oh, training they forbid
Because yoda sensed in him much fear
And qui-gon said now listen here
Just stick it in your pointy ear
I still will teach this boy
He was singin ...
My my this here anakin guy
May be vader someday later - now hes just a small fry
And he left his home and kissed his mommy goodbye
Sayin soon Im gonna be a jedi
Soon Im gonna be a jedi
We caught a ride back to naboo
cause queen amidala wanted to
I frankly wouldve liked to stay
We all fought in that epic war
And it wasnt long at all before
Little hotshot flew his plane and saved the day
And in the end some gunguns died
Some ships blew up and some pilots fried
A lot of folks were croakin
The battle droids were broken
And the jedi I admire most
Met up with darth maul and now hes toast
Well, Im still here and hes a ghost
I guess Ill train this boy
And I was singin ...
My my this here anakin guy
May be vader someday later - now hes just a small fry
And he left his home and kissed his mommy goodbye
Sayin soon Im gonna be a jedi
Soon Im gonna be a jedi
We were singin ...
My my this here anakin guy
May be vader someday later - now hes just a small fry
And he left his home and kissed his mommy goodbye
Sayin soon Im gonna be a jedi

The Losers Never Write The War History
The losers never write the war history that's something we already know
Yet for the many wars fought through the ages we do not have the wisdom to show
That victory too comes at a huge cost for war the price is huge to pay
For families who grieve for their dead members their sense of loss with them will stay
Until they themselves go to the reaper the reaper who claims one and all
The loved one war had taken from them with great sadness they will recall
But the dead to life cannot be returned better to live as a coward than die brave
For none has yet come back for to tell us that there is a life beyond the grave,
They died for their God and their Country of dead war heroes some well may brag
Those who place too much worth on the unknowable and the colour of their Nation's flag
I for one find religion and patriotism confusing of god and war heroes hymns and songs are sung
But surely it is a misnomer that only the good do die young
And yet from war we have not learned young lives are lost for wars to be won
And if lasting peace ever does come it won't be through the barrel of a gun

Seen More In One Week
For someone who claims to enjoy his privacy,
He has been seen more in one week...
Than all of his elected time in office.
Eight deceiving years,
Of his frequent non-appearances.
Harboring his messages of darkness.
And how a new administration...
Is seeking to make a strengthened nation,
Appear not strong,
But decisively weak.
And like sheep they listen.
To such torture laden speeches.
With no explanation given...
How it was to come to pass,
Under his leadership allowed trashed.
A dictator like Darth Vader...
Was discovered hiding in a hole.
And the architect of terrorism,
Periodically released filmed videos!
Still free!
And probably producing a documentary!
With no mention of an economy...
That has created much suffering.
As if this agony to him has pleased!
And not one dime from his pocket...
Is thrown to the 'urbanites' crawling,
On their knees!
His looks could kill.
They are not of the empathetic kind.
Nor have they ever expressed goodwill!
'Take the camera off the smirk,
Of that jerk! '
But he has been a 'respected' Vice-President.
'And I am the magnificent Wizard of Oz.
Which over glorified deception do you prefer? '

I'm sure it is, I'm not for any kind of war, we've been engaged in several wars since the second world war and we lost in Korea, we lost in Vietnam, they are political wars, they have nothing to do with any real threat, nor does this one.

Paid In Full
There are wars that are to be won
And there are wars to be lost
There are lives to be saved
And there are lives to be lost
But mine will come at a higher cost
There are victories that are deserved
And even in those wins, something is lost
There are deaths that are deemed necessary
Despite that, their honor is never lost
But mine will come at a higher cost
There are people that do not agree
And believe that the world is lost
There are others that say it’s saved
Only if the doubt and negativity are lost
But mine will come at a higher cost
There are soldiers that believe in a cause
And believe that American values are not lost
There are my bothers that fight on the line
And there are the brave ones that we have lost
It is those who have paid the higher cost

The World Needs Peace, Not Through Wars!
What loss of lives and destruction!
Can lives all lost ever return?
How many more will have to die?
Can one man’s death bring back lives lost?
What pollution, a war can add!
Let Cats who declare wars on mice,
Take the blame and pay the price!
War is a gambling game like dice;
War is a futile exercise.
One cannot fight wars with mere knives;
War is a waste of human lives;
Alas, will nations realize
That keeping peace is always wise?
Wars can begin without a cause;
The world can’t have a single boss!
One nation can’t stifle the rest,
Or try to be always the best.
The world body must give OK!
The world must say to wars, all ‘nay’;
For lasting peace, war isn’t the way!
The cost of wars, who will repay?
The world must find out other ways,
Avoiding wars in future days;
Each nation must unmask its face,
And set on peace, its gaze always!

Soldier, Soldier
"Soldier, soldier come from the wars,
Why don't you march with my true love?"
"We're fresh from off the ship an' 'e's maybe give the slip,
An' you'd best go look for a new love."
New love! True love!
Best go look for a new love,
The dead they cannot rise, an' you'd better dry your eyes,
An' you'd best go look for a new love.
"Soldier, soldier come from the wars,
What did you see o' my true love?"
"I seed 'im serve the Queen in a suit o' rifle-green,
An' you'd best go look for a new love."
"Soldier, soldier come from the wars,
Did ye see no more o' my true love?"
"I seed 'im runnin' by when the shots begun to fly --
But you'd best go look for a new love."
"Soldier, soldier come from the wars,
Did aught take 'arm to my true love?"
"I couldn't see the fight, for the smoke it lay so white --
An' you'd best go look for a new love."
"Soldier, soldier come from the wars,
I'll up an' tend to my true love!"
"'E's lying on the dead with a bullet through 'is 'ead,
An' you'd best go look for a new love."
"Soldier, soldier come from the wars,
I'll down an' die with my true love!"
"The pit we dug'll 'ide 'im an' the twenty men beside 'im --
An' you'd best go look for a new love."
"Soldier, soldier come from the wars,
Do you bring no sign from my true love?"
"I bring a lock of 'air that 'e allus used to wear,
An' you'd best go look for a new love."
"Soldier, soldier come from the wars,
O then I know it's true I've lost my true love!"
"An' I tell you truth again -- when you've lost the feel o' pain
You'd best take me for your true love."
True love! New love!
Best take 'im for a new love,
The dead they cannot rise, an' you'd better dry your eyes,
An' you'd best take 'im for your true love.

That one star
Remember that summer, i used to lie down on the grass.
In the countryside, i used to watch the stars every night.
Were always lots of stars in the dark blue sky,
Were always rich lightened in the deep sky.
And there was only one star that i liked.
Was in different places everyday night,
But i would find it every time.
And there was one special star that i wondered.
Was the lightest one in my eyes,
But no one else could find it.
That one star stayed in my memories,
That one star is still in my mind.
Too far to catch it,
Too close to run away from it.
Every night it would appear in the sky.
Every day it would disappear in the light.
Someday i couldn't wait for the night.
Then i used to pray for the night to come quickly.
Still i see that one star,
Even on the another side of the earth.
Still i see that one star,
Even in the middle of my dream.
That one star never left me.
That one star never came close.
Just like in the beginning,
Same in the end.
That one star.
That one star.

So Many Blood-Lakes
We have now won two world-wars, neither of which concerned us, we were
slipped in. We have levelled the powers
Of Europe, that were the powers of the world, into rubble and
dependence. We have won two wars and a third is comming.
This one--will not be so easy. We were at ease while the powers of the
world were split into factions: we've changed that.
We have enjoyed fine dreams; we have dreamed of unifying the world; we
are unifying it--against us.
Two wars, and they breed a third. Now gaurd the beaches, watch the
north, trust not the dawns. Probe every cloud.
Build power. Fortress America may yet for a long time stand, between the
east and the west, like Byzantium.
--As for me: laugh at me. I agree with you. It is a foolish business to
see the future and screech at it.
One should watch and not speak. And patriotism has run the world through
so many blood-lakes: and we always fall in.

My Traveling Star
Watch my back and light my way
My traveling star, my traveling star
Watch over all of those born st. christophers day
Old road dog, young runaway
They hunger for home but they cannot stay
They wait by the door
They stand and they stare
Theyre already out of there
Theyre already out of there
My daddy used to ride the rails
So they say, so they say
Soft as smoke and as tough as nails
Boxcar jones, old walking man
Coming back home was like going to jail
The sheets and the blankets and babies and all
No he never did come back home
Never that I recall
Nevermind the wind
Nevermind the rain
Nevermind the road leading home again
Never asking why
Never knowing when
Every now and then
There he goes again
She had a cat and a dog named blue
My traveling star, my traveling star
A big old stove and a fireplace, too
Old road dog, young runaway
She told me loved me like it was true
I knew I should stay
I knew I would go
Run run run away
Run run run away, boy
Run before the wind
Run before the rain
Over yonder hill
Just around the bend
Never knowing why
Never knowing when
Every now and then
There you go again
Tie me up and hold me down
Oh, my traveling star
Bury my feet down in the ground
Oh, old road dog
Claim my name from the lost and found
And let me believe this is where I belong
Shame on me for sure
For one more highway song
My traveling star
My traveling star
