There's something interesting about playing live; you're in the moment, and I think it would be beneficial.

It's interesting because I've spent all my life playing live, and having people comment on my guitar playing, but I've always wanted to put more focus on the songs and the singing.

Moment To Moment
Too many nights of isolation
Too many echoes in my head
Too many fires left burning
In this bed
Too many thoughts of desperation
So much pain deep down below
So mych a slave to my senses
I cant let go
From moment to moment
I live and I die
This cant go on anymore
Another day, another lie
From moment to moment
I stand and I fall
This cant go on anymore
Unless we both give it all
I ask you how can a man keep his distance
How can he reason with his heart
How can you hold me so near
Yet keep me so far
From moment to moment
I live and I die
This cant go on anymore
Another day, another lie
From moment to moment
I stand and I fall
This cant go on anymore
Unless we both give it all
Sometimes Id like to break you down
To see if theres a trace of woman in you that could be found
But I just keep prayin youll come around
And live from moment to moment
I live from moment to moment
I live from moment to moment
So much a slave to my senses
I cant let go
From moment to moment
I live and I die
This cant go on anymore
Another day, another lie
From moment to moment
I stand and I fall
This cant go on anymore
Unless we both give it all
You know I want to give it all
I live from moment to moment
Everyday of my life
I live from moment to moment

I much prefer playing the bad guys. I think they are always the most interesting characters. I liken it to painting: if you're playing the good guy, you get three colors: red, white and blue. But if you're the bad guy, you get the whole palette.
All I Ask
All I ask
Is to live each moment
Free from the last
Take the road forgotten
Dont leave me here
Oh, please let me stray
Far from familiar things
All I ask
Is to live each moment
All I ask
Is to live each moment
Free from the last
Strange roads
Going nowhere
Going nowhere in particular
All I ask
Is to live each moment
All I ask
Is to live each moment
Free from the last
Free from the last
All I ask

There's more depth to Lionel. What I am finding so interesting about playing him is there's all these different layers. I prefer playing Lionel because he's a human being.

No one imagines that a symphony is supposed to improve in quality as it goes along, or that the whole object of playing it is to reach the finale. The point of music is discovered in every moment of playing and listening to it. It is the same, I feel, with the greater part of our lives, and if we are unduly absorbed in improving them we may forget altogether to live them.

Playing in front of an audience was just such a turn-on for me, and you have 200 people in the audience and it's like doing live theater. And filming something that goes to millions of people several weeks later, it's an interesting dynamic.

This is the happy moment
This is the happy moment
When you stay on my tongue
This is the happy moment
When you live in me
This is the happy moment
To come to the church
This is the happy moment
To sing you the glory
This is the happy moment
To sing the Psalms
This is the happy moment
To listen to your word
This is the happy moment
To say thank you
This is the happy moment
To receive you
This is the happy moment
To live with you
Amen

I'm Holdin' On To Love
(i do swear that i'll aways be there. i'd give anything and everything and i will always care. through weakness and strength, happiness and sorrow, for better or worse, i will love you with ever
T of my heart.)
From this moment life has begun
From this moment you are the one
Right beside you is where i belong
From this moment on
From this moment i have been blessed
I live only for your happiness
And for your love i'd give my last breath
From this moment on
I give my hand to you with all my heart
Can't wait to live my life with you, can't wait to start
You and i will never be apart
My dreams came true because of you
From this moment as long as i live
I will love you, i promise you this
There is nothing i wouldn't give
From this moment on
You're the reason i believe in love
And you're the answer to my prayers from up above
All we need is just the two of us
My dreams came true because of you
From this moment as long as i live
I will love you, i promise you this
From this moment
I will love you as long as i live
From this moment on

Waiting Is
Waiting is interesting
Dying is interesting.
To wait is to meet death
To die is to conquer
To conquere is to confront
To confront is to live
To live is to wait for death.

If we pretend to respect the artist at all we must allow him his freedom of choice, in the face, in particular cases, of innumerable presumptions that the choice will not fructify. Art derives a considerable part of its beneficial exercise from flying in the face of presumptions, and some of the most interesting experiments of which it is capable are hidden in the bosom of common things.

In This Moment
In life there comes a moment when all things are made clear, and my clarity is in this moment.
In this moment I know that I want to live the rest of my life beside you.
In this moment I know I want to start my own branch on my family tree with you.
In this moment I know that I love you.
So as I take your hand and gaze into your eyes I know that this moment is the right moment to ask you to be my wife.
Now, before you say yes think because if you do our life together forever begins
in this moment.
I now want to be playing parts more interesting to me and more exciting to me.

Capture a Moment
To most people it may seem as if I’m standing still,
but I’m not, for I am just catching a moment.
Time may be endless, but life is not. So each moment
I live I try to capture it. Even if it is just a cold breeze pasting across my
face, or a smile from stranger. I hold it there for a moment in capture it
in the camera that’s my heart. For tomorrow is not promise so I live for today, and in this day I’ll be sure to capture a moment
Enjoy Every Bit
THERE is so much
unexplored deep down
the trenches of
the ocean
up there too
there is more to space
that is not grasped
by our limited
senses
there is more to
the mere glitter of the stars
you cannot catch all the
glow that the moon
is giving
our faces have only what
light can reflect
what air can we
touch
we are interesting
our oceans
spaces, stars, moons,
are but metaphors of
who we are
keep all these
in mind...you are too
interesting
you too are a metaphor
of what is there
unexplored
there is no hurry
enjoy every bit
grab every moment...

Everyone assumes that novelists are smarter and more interesting. They're generally smarter and more interesting, but they're often very short. So it kind of cancels all the smart and interesting stuff out.

Paul Riser tells it in an interesting way; he dissects it and tells the structure, you know, 'you don't mention that part here.' But that's what's interesting about it and the people who are absent are interesting too.
Live Every Moment
Live every moment - love every day
cus before you know it your precious time slips away.
Live every moment - love every day
cause if you dont you might just throw your love away.
I walked for seven miles this mornin. footprints in the sand.
Washed away without a warning when the water hit the land.
But I will walk on til I can no longer stand.
Ill take you by the hand and well...
Live every moment - love every day
cus before you know it your precious time slips away.
Theres water in the wind tonight.
Theres a chill in the air.
Its coolin down my skin tonight
Soakin through your hair.
Theres warmth enough within tonight
For both of us to share.
We can take it anywhere. and well...
Live every moment - love every day
cus before you know it your precious time slips away.
Sometimes I wish we could take a trip far away.
Leave all this trouble and heartache and pain for another day.
I will search for that place but til I find it all I can say is...
Live every moment - and love every day
