It only stands to reason that where there's sacrifice, there's someone collecting the sacrificial offerings. Where there's service, there is someone being served. The man who speaks to you of sacrifice is speaking of slaves and masters, and intends to be the master.

Sacrifice Yourself
Some days he feels so empty
Just a talking head
Married to a klingon
Who could cream him in the press
God could detonate him
Gods the one we pick to curse us
And 25 years pass him
Like an evening at the circus
Dont sacrifice yourself
Dont sacrifice yourself
Surprise yourself
Dont sacrifice yourself
Dont sacrifice yourself
Dont sacrifice yourself
There it is, the look, the winner you
Once talked of being
Give her one last kiss and
Dive right out the window screaming
No truth decent, it was summer from the waist down
She blew the troops right off your feet
She tells you shes gods grammy
Dont sacrifice yourself
Dont sacrifice yourself
Surprise yourself
Dont sacrifice yourself
Dont sacrifice yourself
Dont sacrifice yourself
Her, the only game in town, a queen of competence
Blind in front of mirrors, proving nothings says a lot
Wham bam thank you charlie
Vanity is all
You wander lonely to the scene
A crawling up the walls
Dont sacrifice yourself

Happiness Over Opulence
Truth instills virtue.
Love imparts sacrifice.
Compassion delivers service.
Not truth means no virtue.
No love means no sacrifice.
No compassion means no service.
Virtue instills trust.
Sacrifice provides care.
Service ensures safety.
No virtue means no trust.
No sacrifice means no care.
No service means no safety.
No trust, no care and no safety,
The society is in anarchy.
The cure is not prosperity.
Children must score top in these subjects,
And not in science and mathematics.
Happiness must score over opulence.

The sacrifice which causes sorrow to the doer of the sacrifice is no sacrifice. Real sacrifice lightens the mind of the doer and gives him a sense of peace and joy. The Buddha gave up the pleasures of life because they had become painful to him.

The Master Mind
The master mind, devil of evil.
Initiator of deception, creator of sorrow.
Most cunning, most assuring,
fallen emperor, proud prince.
Master mind, he masters the mind
At the entrance of the grave,
he envies the throne of grace.
author of death, father of hell
rewards flaming passions with flames of fire
and he masters the proud, master mind
He serves to master
and masters the world
beauty, wealth, power, and pride...
his own assets.
The master mind serves the world.
His empire is deception,
his agent is 'reason'
who reasons with the wise
and curses the proud into a trap
He masters the mind, who masters the world!

Freedom To Serve
Become God’s servant to be free, when you go through Calvary,
The only place on earth indeed, when as a servant you are freed;
Freed through the Blood of Christ, from the bondage of this life,
A Freedom only known to man, through God’s Redemptive Plan.
God bought us out of slavery, with precious Blood from Calvary,
Purchased from the market of sin; granting freedom deep within,
Freedom by us that wasn’t sought, which the Lord for us bought,
Offering His Son, our Lord Jesus, as payment made for all of us.
When we’re freed, we’re then sent, by our Lord, as God’s servant,
Here in service to the Son of God, on this earth that we now trod,
No longer slaves in bondage to sin, we delight in service for Him,
Now as we serve the King of kings, our new freedom in Him rings.
We’re now free to serve our Lord, as Christ’s Body, in one accord,
Now serving with the mind of Christ, for God gave us all New Life,
Eternal Life, which we don’t deserve, which is why we gladly serve,
By God’s Grace, with freedom, as God’s servants in His Kingdom.
All because God paid that price, when His Son became a sacrifice,
Christ, Who had no reason to die, served as a Lamb, for you and I,
To grant us real freedom my friend, that from The Lord has no end,
As we come to The Lord Jesus, to serve eternally in God’s Service.

A reason to live
A man's reason to live is his very reason to die. His reason to live is his reason to sacrifice by his reason to love. His reason to love is his reason to die. If he died it would be a great sacrifice by reason of his faith. Then that reason of faith is substantiated if that love is good. Therefore his faith is purposeful.
A dangerous man has no reason to live and therefore no reason to love as all is lost. If that man has no love he has no reason for faith and he has no reason of faith because there is no love. He will give up his life easily. Look at the ones who love you and you will have the reason to live. That reason to live is what makes you believe in life. Therefore by reason of love you have faith and by reason of faith you have life. - John 17: 3

Only the Slaves
How to regard a manner as decent
Is only a requirement of manliness.
It despises the master to see the slave perish,
And the men have reawakened.
Manners of a slave are laudable when man
Is sufficient as a master, and love is a learning all common.
To live a wreck and survive a storm is a slavery
Of every man. Regard a manner in this city as sacred.
The key to the city lies in the minds of men who are leaders.
The painting of a king is adequate for the retelling.
It is a city in the air, and I call it Red and Yellow.
Kings and queens are averse to these intricacies.
We are masters, and they are slaves of the House.
A Palace is built in heaven if you are good.
Only the slaves are the masters in Heaven.

Cord wrapped around my neck
Epilectic til the age of 7

Thats when the victory is sho nuff {sho nuff down with the sacrifice}

Mama held up her baby 4 protection
From a man with a strap in his hand
Ask the victor bout pain and rejection
U think he dont when he do understand
(we sacrifice)
I know joy lives round the corner

One day Ill visit her Im gonna

Rode me and a group of unsuspecting political tools
Our parents wondered what it was like 2 have another color near
So they put their babies together 2 eliminate the fear
We sacrifice yes we did
Fighting one another, (we sacrifice) (dont say it preacher)
All because of color
The angel of hate - she taught me how 2 kick her
If she called me anything but victor (u mean like nigger? )
If the only thing that tells me is father time
Then sacrifice is the mutha sublime - we love it
Listen mutha - we sacrifice

Never understood my old friends laughing
They got high when everything else got wrong (pass the booze up here)
Dr. king was killed and the streets

When the smoke was cleared, their high was gone
Education got important, so important 2 victor
A little more important than ripple and weed
Bernadettes a lady, and she told me (what she say? )
Whatever u do son, a little discipline is what u need,
Is what u need, u need to sacrifice

We dont dont mean 2 take up yo time (joy around the corner)
But we got something
Heavy on our minds (we sacrifice)
Yes, we do (we sacrifice)
Sometimes, u gotta leave the one u love
Somebody, anybody, everybody wave your hand
Around the corner, theres another sacrifice (joy around the corner)
But u got 2 do the best u can yall (we sacrifice)
Say u got 2 go through it (go through it)
U got 2 go through it all (go through it all)
High glory, yeah
Sell it, dont tell it, dont tell me (joy around the corner)

Lord I might get tired,
But i, Ive got 2 keep on (we sacrifice)
Walkin down this road, (we sacrifice)
Keep on walkin down this road (joy around the corner)
When I reach my destination (we sacrifice)
My name will be victor
Amen

Sacrifice not the truth
Not to thy lips
Sacrifice not the truth
To thy brute egotism
Not to thy heart
Sacrifice not the truth
To thy vengeful ill logic
Not to thy spirit
Sacrifice not the truth
To the baneful intentions
Not to thy soul
Sacrifice not the truth
To the sharp arrows of thy lies
Love the truth
Where you are the truth
Shall be your sister
And thy loving companion
The truth you love to tell
Will stand by you will
Forgive you readily without
Hurt and set you free to enjoy
Your truthful honest lived life

Constance Hately
You praise my self-sacrifice, Spoon River,
In rearing Irene and Mary,
Orphans of my older sister!
And you censure Irene and Mary
For their contempt of me!
But praise not my self-sacrifice,
And censure not their contempt;
I reared them, I cared for them, true enough!--
But I poisoned my benefactions
With constant reminders of their dependence.

Sacrifices
Beautiful values and culture
No freedom to follow one's own believe
Freedom of following the culture is banned
Sacrifice of their vision and mission
Beautiful mind and soul
It was kept in dark and hidden
Hence left with no choices
Sacrifice of the inner strength
Beautiful kindness and compassion
Taken as a weakness
Tortured and abused
Sacrifice of being human
Beautiful life
Too much which has filled the air
Breathing out of frustration
Sacrifice of their precious life by setting themselves on fire

Requirement
We live by Faith; but Faith is not the slave
Of text and legend. Reason's voice and God's,
Nature's and Duty's, never are at odds.
What asks our Father of His children, save
Justice and mercy and humility,
A reasonable service of good deeds,
Pure living, tenderness to human needs,
Reverence and trust, and prayer for light to see
The Master's footprints in our daily ways?
No knotted scourge nor sacrificial knife,
But the calm beauty of an ordered life
Whose very breathing is unworded praise!--
A life that stands as all true lives have stood,
Firm-rooted in the faith that God is Good.

Sacrifice
Nothing has been occupying my minds,
I have all the requirements for them to be classed as two,
For I have double-vision as to the religion of my thought,
I am not guilty and I have no stigma,
Merely the goat has been slain by its owner
For the worn garment, and the delicious meat it endows.
What is century after century of sacrifice when a life has been
Rectified for all the days in it?
Why do we keep lunar years for these praises and festivals
When every year seemed to be carried?
Where is my food, O mother! Why does the goat hurt when it is dissected?
It is a child that speaks hostility and not a stranger can even desire this speech.
We can sacrifice all we want, when we want, and however we want
As long as rivers and oceans shall curve with water.
Water makes it abundantly clear, like the blood that wreaks from the neck
Of a dead goat. Always the sacrifice is made on this time in the calendar.

The emperor is the father of his people, not a master to be served by slaves.
Sacrifice and Faith Are My Friends
Sacrifice and Faith are my friends!
From the very beginning,
They made their presence known!
I have shown them indifference,
On many occasions.
And we parted...
With Sacrifice being the more stubborn
When I rejected harsh criticsms,
I was not prepared to face!
As I grew to find how true they were.
How I created them and made them to occur!
Sometimes Sacrifice had me on the floor,
With Doubt!
And Doubt and I had bouts...all the time!
That's why Doubt is not a close friend of mine!
Sometimes Sacrifice made me aware...
If I was going to do anything worthy...
'It' was going to be there to insure
I had enough endurance
Not to give up!
Sacrifice was there to make sure
I knew 'It' was where I cared most!
Even though most of those times,
Tomorrow was much delayed!
I'd pray with fears as tears rolled...
To swell into rivers of complacency!
Sacrifice knew that was not me,
Fixed on my knees pleading.
Sacrifice often would connect me with Faith...
When I turned my back on Faith many a day!
I'm so glad Faith allowed my tantrums.
'It' knew I was being a misunderstood child,
When Faith would come and enfold me
With security and comfort.
That would sit with me a while!
Letting my time with Sacrifice...
Be discussed with Faith and understood!
And Faith would bring me to my senses.
Like only Faith knew...and could!
They were never the ones with the conflict at all.
I had to identify them on their own merit.
I had to discover 'Me' and who they were.
It has difficult but I now realize...
Without Sacrifice and Faith,
I would never have found Happiness!
And that is what they have been wanting for me,
All this time!

Psalm 16 part 2
Christ's all-sufficiency.
How fast their guilt and sorrows rise
Who haste to seek some idol-god!
I will not taste their sacrifice,
Their offerings of forbidden blood.
My God provides a richer cup,
And nobler food to live upon;
He for my life has offered up
Jesus, his best-beloved Son.
His love is my perpetual feast;
By day his counsels guide me right;
And be his name for ever blessed,
Who gives me sweet advice by night.
I set him still before mine eyes;
At my right hand he stands prepared
To keep my soul from all surprise,
And be my everlasting guard.
