Confidence?
You can regain and maintain it.
Keep it treasured and close to your chest.

With honesty and self respect...

Takes a deliberate wish,
To dismiss nonsense.
Convince yourself every moment you can...
You are more important,
Than the opinions of others...
Or your need for them to understand.
With a critiquing comprehension...
Way off base and quite off hand.

Confidence?
Are you one in between relationships?
Has your emotions been tested,
To leave you with feelings that are empty...
With wishes to erase a loneliness?
Tormented and forelorn,
As you inflict 'what ifs'...
To visit and keep you torn.

Are you one of those who sit,
To blame yourself for things gone wrong?
Refuse to admit this and forget!
Forgive yourself and others of misdeeds,
That had a beginning but no end to it!
Restore your confidence!
Seize it as a quest.
And feed your mind nothing less!

Think of yourself as a child on an adventure.
Discover something 'fresh' to digest,
As you allow your happiness to flow...
And manifest!

I did private study for about a month, five days a week, six hours a day. I came to understand the character in ways that I never would've previous to that. I was so innocent in respect to ways of creating characters.

The process of creation goes on all the time. When I get through, I feel I know what the character will do in every situation. But the building up of the part is not mechanical or deliberate. It grows out of the text.

Confidence | Words of Wisdom

Don’t mistake power for confidence

Just a little faith can light your path
When everything seems dark,

To achieve a higher mark..

Faith

Faith lies above everything
Without it you can achieve nothing,
You can overcome every hassle in life
If you believe in yourself,
No one can stop you from anything
If you have confidence in yourself,
So Self Confidence plays a very important part

Faith is an axiom

Faith is an axiom which is beyond proof.
Faith is a self-evident fact, a conviction, a belief which exists without a reason.
You put it to test, you fail. You cannot show the faith but you can certainly have one.
Hence, it is said to always “have faith” or to “keep faith”.
The more faith you have, the more hopes grow. The more hopes grow, the more optimism flows. The more optimism flows, the more confidence grows........so.....
Have faith in goodness and the good will soon follow.
Have faith in abundance and the riches will soon follow.

Character

There is a secret
no one talks about;
one that we have mystified
and camouflaged.

Simply put
it begins with
the Morning Test,

which is
no one but you
can get out of bed.

That you have to do
for your self.

Others may call;
alarms may ring;
but in the end
you have only you

to motivate
to get yourself
out of bed.

This is the secret.

While we gain comfort
with faith, and kin

the sad news is
that while
this offers succor;
no one can feel the pain
that's yours;

no one can die in your place
put on your face
be inside you
really, deeply understand you.

No one can love another but you;
there is no love that is proxy love.

We humans paper this over
we don't tell the children-
we obscure this;
whole societies take the premise
that we are not
in the end alone.

The deep shock is
for some of us
when we find this is not
strictly true;
that some things
we rely on
don't really substitute
for the fact that you are alone with you,
in most things hard.

That is the Hard Truth.
What to do?

Enter here then the value of Character;
Character gives us the courage
to stand up
when others disagree and reject
and leave us alone to buffet
against the wily treacherous world.

Character gives us the courage
and the energy
to relentlessly press on
against impossible odds
and grow from this adversity
the capacity for unconditional
Commitment.

Character is all we have
when we discover
we are all alone.

Some think it came with us
from birth
others say it is imparted
by those around us
at an early age.

We start out then with external supports
until we develop our own internal ones
for ourselves and this ultimately
guides what we
do and can do in life.

It is the process of Growing Up.

And Growing Up
is simply
faith in one's self
and Character
at base.

This is magical.

Got to go.
Need to get up;
Get out of bed.

Step Out In Faith

Some seek God’s face both night and day
For months and even years
They’ll kneel and pray and pray and pray
With heart and soul in tears

They know The Lord can do this thing
Their faith in Christ is strong
And so with prayer God’s praise they’ll sing
Believing nothing’s wrong

But faith is not just sitting still
True faith dictates we stand
If through our deeds we do God’s will
Then God will lend a hand

We need to move we need to stir
We need much more than talk
If mighty things will soon occur
We need in faith to walk

Its good to pray its good to praise
But yet there’s so much more
Consulting God in all our ways
Opens many a door

Step out in faith but not as fools
Learn first to understand
Obey The Lord obey His rules
And see God mighty hand

The Lord may love the songs we sing
Our ways are His concern
He’s not a puppet on a string
Nor water tap to turn

Think not The Lord has all to do
When faith has been received
Action must come from me and you

A Mask, A White Lie

My customized protection
An initial accidental intent
Now, a practice with ease

A white lying
To anchor my mark of sanity
See the total spin off from my heart's harmony
What a touch of irony
As I hope another would see

I remember that it was never that difficult for me to get a director to look up and pay attention to me. Mind you, I don't know if that's necessarily charm. But I've played roles where my character has to be charming and I've found it quite easy to do. I think some of it is in my bones, but some of it is more deliberate.

Faith is precious!
