I strongly suggest that we play down basics like who influenced whom, and instead study the way the influence is transformed, in other words: how the artist made it his own.

If some student came up and wanted to know where to study painting, you'd want to suggest someplace, but there's no place. I wouldn't know where to send a student to study.

Venom was a band that strongly influenced the image and the idea behind Slayer.
While one should always study the method of a great artist, one should never imitate his manner. The manner of an artist is essentially individual, the method of an artist is absolutely universal. The first is personality, which no one should copy; the second is perfection, which all should aim at.

Words
Words could never say it
words could never say it
I know now you're gone
and I can't go on
Where could you be tonight
I'm sayin' my sorry
baby I'm sorry
'Cause without your love in my life I'll die
I was wrong
I was so worng
And I'm so scared
what can I do now
when I close my eyes
all I see is you
Now words could never say it
words could never say it
if theres a reason why
say it's a lie
Words could never say it
how I feel now
now that you're gone
now that you're gone
Now that you're gone
we made it now
we made it love
we made such fools
of ourselves
we made it up now
you made it up oh yeah
you know you made it hard
we made it fast
I always thought
it would last
we took a bow
we did it all oh yeah
Words could never say
could never say
could only play
someone could say
would only playing with ourselves
Words could never say
how I feel now
some how
I've got find a way
cause when I dream at night alls I see is you
you're wantin' me
and me havin' you
Now words could never say it
words could never say it
everytime I try
I get lost inside

Returning Back To Basics
How can anyone surrounded by decadence,
Be expected to be innocent of anything?
And how old can one's pretentions get,
Before they too begin to smell like curbed garbage?
Especially when fresh resolutions have just been made,
By those insisting they are going to simplify their lives...
With a returning back to basics.
As soon as those 'basics' are decided to identify.
And they don't interfere with things chosen that are liked.

From Behind The Shadows Of Others
How do I recognize a demonic influence?
It demands to interfere with one's peace of mind...
With an annoyance kept.
Seeking to be understood.
And trying to convince that an interpretation of life,
From behind the shadows of others easily influenced...
Is the rule to be followed.
And seeks to whisper doubts and curious conflicts,
In one ear to confuse with fear and procrastination.
And insists it does...
With criticisms directed and made,
Towards others not tolerating this nonsense.
With a spreading of lies to isolate and defame.
Especially those...
On a path taken and chosen with experience to clear,
Familiarized debris...
That tries to prevent a consciousness,
Already introduced to truth!
And those demonically influenced,
Are deceivers of truth...
And anything remotely connected,
With an attached understanding of it.
One demonic wishes to stick,
With a sweetness that delays.

For me, having come to study and understand some of the Bible and finally getting saved made a huge difference in me, because my wife was a big influence on that. I saw in her, when I first met her, a person's soul at peace with everything and everybody around her.

Time made me change. I gradually woke up to the realization that this is who I am, an author, a public figure, and I couldn't just hide in my study, tapping away at the keyboard and pretend that I didn't have a role to play beyond stringing words together.

A Best Culture
Flowers are the smiles of plants and trees
Like the morning Sunshine creates brightness!
Sweet smiles of everyone is the bright side of one
That should not be hidden from the public's eye;
For, that brightness spreads through all everywhere.
Culture is to greet all with a smile despite difficulty
Thereby sorrowfulness of one can be transformed
And the ideas got out of conversation may change all;
Gloominess can be turned into brightness in life.
The purpose of festivals and celebrations do that well!
Love of kind words brings about change unprecedented
Whose influence begins with a smile at first to influence all
To smile too and whose infection increases health of life;
This is the culture humanity needs to be nurtured ever!

Sonnet -Indelible Art?
How far an artist takes his art forward?
If labour hard is continued for long,
It dedication has not disappeared,
And Pride has not polluted his art’s song.
One's art improves if Will of God is there;
If Luck and Pluck come timely to his aid;
If vices poison not his mind to err;
And love enters his art when it is made.
For art lives longer than the artist's age;
And brings alive the beauty it derived;
All life, the artist must truly manage;
To perfect works of art in which he’d strived.
Such art alone will stand the test of time,
For it has made the Artist's life sublime.
