The Chinese leadership hoped that the world would soon forget the Tiananmen Square massacre. Our job in Congress is to ensure that we never forget those who lost their lives in Tiananmen Square that day or the pro-democracy cause for which they fought.

Tiananmen come again
we need you everyday
send flowers to brutes
play Panpipes and flutes
let the tunes be the fire
of a newage's desire
be like Revolução dos Cravos
spread like Lisbon's petals
that sweet scent of freedom
Tiananmen come again
let the dried blood
fill us not in Vain
let the bullets sound hard
for a soft sigh's certain death
instead, never forget
never be forgotten;
Tiananmen come again
for we need you everyday!

There are other issues I have felt more emotionally connected to, like China, where I lived and worked for some time. I was living there when Tiananmen Square erupted.

Square Peg, Round Hole
He's a square peg in a round hole
Misfit in a slick world
Don't play the game
Don't do what he's told
He's a square peg in a round hole
Square peg don't care
The bright lights he's not there
Catch the shadows see him slip away
Square peg that's what they say
Square peg, Suare peg
Square peg, you have got to be strong
Square peg, he's got his own song
Square peg, I'll see you around
Square peg, face down
Square peg, round hole

If I Ever Forget You
If i ever forget you,
the sun would forget
to shine nor the moon
at night.
If i ever forget you,
ants would forget to gather
food and the fish would
forget how to swim.
If i ever forget you,
the river would forget the
sea and the sunflower would
forget to gaze at the sun.
If i ever forget you,
babies would forget how
to crawl and cock would
forget how to crow.
If i ever forget you,
farmers would forget there
path and humans would forget
there name.
If i ever forget you,
the tree would forget to
bear fruit and demons would
forget to do evil.
If i ever forget you.
i will never forget you.

Square Wave In Unison
Made a noise invented a sound
When brian wilson used it a hit was found
If only I could have imagined
The square waves running through his head
Square wave - people couldnt believe it
Square wave - all the way to carnegie hall
Square wave
One rod for pitch
Electro magnetic fields
Wired up sing sing
Hung out with einstein
For all all of his brilliant innovation
Sent off to a siberian reservation
Square wave - people couldnt believe it
Square wave - all the way to carnegie hall
Square wave

Baby I Don't Care
You're so square--baby
You're so square . . .
Oh, you don't like greasy diners
You don't like sleazy bands
You just want to go
To a movie show
And sit there holding hands
You're so square
Baby i don't care
You don't like going to parties
To toot and talk all night long
You just want to park
Where it's nice and dark
And kiss me, sweet and strong
You're so square
Baby i don't care
You don't know any dance steps
That are new
But nobody else can love me
Like you do
I don't know why my heart flips
I only know it does
I wonder why
I love you baby
I guess it's just because
You're so square
Darlin' i don't care
Oh, i don't know why my heart flips
I only know it does
I wonder why
I love you baby
I guess it's just because
You're so square
I don't care
You're so square

Big Square People
Another square day
And another square week
And another square year
And another square lifetime
If you turn me on like you turn it on
Big square people
If you look at me the way you watch tv
Big square people
Youre digging it round when it should be square
Big square people
When the screen is blank theres no-one there
Big square people
Ive seen you watching it day and night
You dont miss the big game or big fight
All those dimensions all those race (? )
Come in action (? )
The worlds full of greed and envy and lust
If they dont get you the (? ) must
Turn on at daybreak before youre awake
I turn it off now
Big square people
(repeat)
Turn of the brightness, the colour and sound
The big square people in sensorround
Before too long the damage is done
To big square people television is such fun
They come in action from every direction
With every booster and (? )
Theyre sending signals from satellite sky
Soon youre on tv and you dont know why
Hey, come on down, youre looking good
If they said jump I really think that you would
cause tv is God and heavens hollywood
Youre digging it round when it should be square
Big square people
When the screen is blank theres no-one there
Big square people
Get up from the chair you look like a slug (? )
Take the tip from the tv go and find a job
But there are no jobs, there is no pay
but thats not what the people on the tv say
They say to me Ill be what you wanna be,
Lets join the army maybe see the sea
Turn of the brightness, the colour and sound
Turn of the (? ) lets going around
Turn on at daybreak before youre awake
Lets turn it off now before its too late
(turn it off !)

I'm Dead
Forget the girl you used to know,
The one you thought was 'sound'.
Forget the girl you never noticed
And didn't care when she was around.
Forget the girl you used to talk to
But never looked to truly 'see'.
Forget that girl, the world's lost her,
You'll never again see that girl in me.
Forget the girl who laughed at all your jokes,
The one with the nervous smile.
Forget her now because you don't care,
She just entertained you for a while.
Forget the girl that made YOU smile,
She won't do that anymore.
Forget her now until she's just a memory
Of someone you once knew before.
Forget that girl, but, I think you already did
As you picked that other girl instead.
Forget that girl, I've changed my ways
And now that girl is dead.

Forget Me Not
My friend, never
Forget, forgotten me,
Forget and be forgotten.
Never forget
Our friendship,
Our relationship,
Our partnership.
Never forget
Our hope,
Our inspiration,
Our courage,
Our confidence.
Forget me not,
When we live separately,
When we out of sight,
When we out of mind,
When we out of sanity.
Forget yet remember me,
Forget yet forgive me,
Forget yet pray for me,
Forget yet call me.
Please forget me not.
Not to forget,
Your friend,
Your dream and vision,
Your ambition and success.
Forget me not,
Forget the No,
Forget the Maybe,
Forget the should be.
Think not to forget,
Think to remember,
Think to feel,
Think to say.
Forget, forgotten,
All bad things,
All bad deeds,
But forget me not.

Man Forgets
Man, He seems to always forget
His sins from his own conflict,
And the evils he does against another man.
But then he will always remember
That one cold day in that one December,
When he gave out a helping hand.
He will remember his deed of good
When he helped another as he should,
But he’ll forget the evils that he has also done.
He will forget when he had cheated and had lied
When he had stolen and abused and cried,
And when he lost, but instead he said he had won.
Man will forget his pity and his shame
Will not remember his losses but only his gain,
His deeds will be like coal and its dying ember.
He will forget all of his evils ways
As he hoped that they will all be washed away,
But what Man forgets, GOD he will remember.

I'm On Your Time
oww
I'm on your time
yea you do that blue spot too

i say i wish that you could just get over yourself

while we are gone to get hope to hold you

what we do to each other
we will never forget
we will never forget
yea we will never forget

i say that i wish you could fix this broken thing in me
cause there'll be a happy happy eveday

Maternity
There once was a Square, such a square little Square,
And he loved a trim Triangle;
But she was a flirt and around her skirt
Vainly she made him dangle.
Oh he wanted to wed and he had no dread
Of domestic woes and wrangles;
For he thought that his fate was to procreate
Cute little Squares and Triangles.
Now it happened one day on that geometric way
There swaggered a big bold Cube.
With a haughty stare and he made that Square
Have the air of a perfect boob;
To his solid spell the Triangle fell,
And she thrilled with love's sweet sickness,
For she took delight in his breadth and height -
But how she adored his thickness!
So that poor little Square just died of despair,
For his love he could not strangle;
While the bold Cube led to the bridal bed
That cute and acute Triangle.
The Square's sad lot she has long forgot,
And his passionate pretensions . . .
For she dotes on her kids-Oh such cute Pyramids
In a world of three dimensions.

I Cant Forget
i remember us
should i forget?
i remember your eyes
should i forget?
i remember your touch
should i forget?
i remember your voice
should i forget?
i remember your face
should i forget?
i remember your care
should i forget?
i remember your feelings
should i forget?
i remember your personality :)
should i forget?
i remember my thoughts of you
i cant forget, should i forget?
i remember the good times with you
i cant forget, should i forget?
i remember the comfort from you
i cant forget, should i forget?
i remember my love for you
i cant forget, i wont ever forget!

For A While
Lost in day to day
turned another way
with a laugh, a kind hello
some small talk with those I know
I forget that I'm not over you
for a while
A wave an easy grin
a smile to put them in
with other lives to listen to
and some work I've got to do
I forget that I'm not over you
for a while
Days go buy with no empty feeling
until I remember you're gone
People say to me,you need company
when you have some time to spend
drop around and meet a friend
they forget that I'm not over you
for a while
they forget that I'm not over you
for a while

Watching Tv
We were watchin tv...watchintv
We were watchin tv...watchintv
In tiananmen square
Lost my baby there
My yellow rose
And her bloodstained clothes
She was a short order pastry chef
In a dim sum dive on the yangtze tideway
She had shiny hair
She was the daughter of an engineer
Wont you shed a tear
For my yellow rose
My yellow rose
And her bloodstained clothes
She had perfect breasts
She had high hopes
She had almond eyes
She had yellow thighs
She was a student of philosophy
Wont you grieve with me
For my yellow rose
Shed a tear
For her bloodstained clothes
She had shiny hair
She had perfect breasts
She had high hopes
She had almond eyes
She had yellow thighs
She was the daughter of an engineer
So get out your pistols
Get out your stones
Get out your knives
Cut them to the bone
They are the lackeys of the grocers machine
They built the dark satanic mills
That manufacture hell on earth
They bought the front row seats on calvary
They are irrelevant to me
And I grieve for my sister
People of china
Do not forget do not forget
The children who died for you
Long live the republic
Did we do anything after this
Ive a feeling we did
We were watchin tv...watchin tv
We were watchin tv...watchin tv
She wore a white bandanna that said
Freedom now
She thought the great wall of china
Would come tumbling down
She was a student
Her father was an engineer
Wont you shed a tear
For my yellow rose
My yellow rose
And her bloodstained clothes
Her grandpa fought old chiang kai-shek
That no-good low-down dirty rat
Who used to order his troops
To fire on the women and children
Imagine that imagine that
And in the spring of 48
Mao tse-tung got quite irate
And he kicked that old dictator chiang
Out of the state of china
Chiang kai-shek came down in formosa
And they armed the island of quemoy
And the shells were flying across the china sea
And they turned formosa into a shoe factory
Called taiwan
And she is different from cro-magnon man
Shes different from anne boleyn
She is different from the rosenbergs
And from the unknown jew
She is different from the unknown nicaraguan
Half superstar half victim
Shes a victor star conceptually new
And she is different from the dodo
And from the kankanbono
She is different from the aztec
And from the cherokee
Shes everybodys sister
Shes symbolic of our failure
Shes the one in fifty million
Who can help us to be free
Because she died on tv
