Deny Someone An Education. They Will Find It Somewhere Else.
Deny someone an education.
They will find it somewhere else.
Don't respond, if you do as you always do.
You ask for tons of money just so I can pursue.
Deny someone an eduction.
They will find it somewhere else.
Money can't be earned to support.
With violence they resort.
Deny someone an eduction
They will find it somewhere else.
A criminal mind intertwined
Cheating the system they see as just fine.
Deny someone an eduction.
They will find it somewhere else.
Starving to preserve a future so bleak
Capitalizing on those of the weak
Deny someone an eduction
They will find it somewhere else
Be careful what you teach.
For now all can reach.

Pell Grants
The USA has fallen behind in college graduates in many areas especially the sciences and technology. We need more kids with ability graduating from college and getting master degrees etc. Pell grants allow a young or older person who cannot afford a college education to get one. People pay the loans off by the percentage of wage they make at the time. This democratic benefit to the middle and lower classes would be dropped by Romney/Ryan and the republicans if they are elected.
The implication of this would be college is for the wealthy and the extremely gifted with scholarships or in sports. Is this fair? Is it right for a young person with an IQ of a hundred with rich parents to go to college and another child with an IQ of a 120 with parents that can't afford 20,000 dollars a semester not go? Is this the America that you want? I am not voting for people only but justice, equality and a real America with real opportunity for all not just the rich.

As I went to college, I went into radio and television. Now I suppose most people think that's one step ahead of basket weaving as a major in college, but it was part of the journalism department.

I like school very much, and I'll go to college if my career slows down. But kids go to college to be where I am today. Not to put college down, but for me, it would be digressing.
First Day At College, Triolet
New place, new people, new horizon
Memorable, first day at my college.
Excited, happy but had apprehensions
New place, new people, new horizon.
Would conquer the career with passion
And get friends, freedom with knowledge;
New place, new people, new horizon
Memorable, first day at my college.

I am here to give the American people some straight talk about higher education. Some have said we might have cut financial aid for college students. The truth is we have expanded access to college for our neediest students through the record growth of the Pell grant program.

The Uncultured Rhymer To His Cultured Critics
Fight through ignorance, want, and care —
Through the griefs that crush the spirit;
Push your way to a fortune fair,
And the smiles of the world you’ll merit.
Long, as a boy, for the chance to learn —
For the chance that Fate denies you;
Win degrees where the Life-lights burn,
And scores will teach and advise you.
My cultured friends! you have come too late
With your bypath nicely graded;
I’ve fought thus far on my track of Fate,
And I’ll follow the rest unaided.
Must I be stopped by a college gate
On the track of Life encroaching?
Be dumb to Love, and be dumb to Hate,
For the lack of a college coaching?
You grope for Truth in a language dead —
In the dust ’neath tower and steeple!
What know you of the tracks we tread?
And what know you of our people?
‘I must read this, and that, and the rest,’
And write as the cult expects me? —
I’ll read the book that may please me best,
And write as my heart directs me!
You were quick to pick on a faulty line
That I strove to put my soul in:
Your eyes were keen for a ‘dash’ of mine
In the place of a semi-colon —
And blind to the rest. And is it for such
As you I must brook restriction?
‘I was taught too little?’ I learnt too much
To care for a pedant’s diction!
Must I turn aside from my destined way
For a task your Joss would find me?
I come with strength of the living day,
And with half the world behind me;
I leave you alone in your cultured halls
To drivel and croak and cavil:
Till your voice goes further than college walls,
Keep out of the tracks we travel!

Remembering You On A Hot Summer Day
college was not that cruel
we were in fact crazy, looking for thrills
dark movie houses, we tried to know what
rubbing means and touching the wrong parts
of our bodies, we spat we swallowed some
errors and laughed the hardest when we
finally got wet... with what? with whom?
when was that? do you remember?
do you miss them? or me?
the campus grounds were always greener
the trees with more leaves
and the chapel were full of us
worshippers
we had written more poems
that now when we try reading again
our bodies shake
we giggle about our romantic clumsiness
when we fell in love
to the wrong person the wrong time the wrong place
you left the country for good
hmmm, chicago and new york and maryland
dollars, in the name of the mighty dollars and
family above all
college and a new house, a farm to develop
students to send to universities
it is a hot summer day here
i am getting older and
hmm, not really lonelier, just missing you
just plain nostalgic moments
this clumsiness of being out of love
when everyone is getting over with poverty
escaping away from third world prisons
this sigh of not being one with the rest
they have forgotten how to read
the lines of poetry, moving on with their lives
away..... where can the rest be? i do not know...
but just in case.... here i am...it is still me
on a hot summer day...those college days...still clumsy...

College
Here I am searching principal
So many lecturers are here
In this college and they
Teaches so many subjects
For allround welfare
I am wayward
I am insearch of the principal.
The college is store house of knowledge
And I am within the college
Here neither I am getting any knowledge
Nor applied any at any time at any place
Without rudimentary or basic knowledge
I am getting pain and you the principal
Without uttering a word watching all day.
The college is my phyical body
The lecturers are the saints
And I am in dark in my body
And unable to know anything
And You My lord My Atma My supreme
My LOve and Everything My principal
I am searching you day and night.

Those Who Go To College
Those who go to college,
Should decide with a clear knowledge...
What it is,
They hope from it to get.
And those who go to college,
Should decide with a clear knowledge...
What it is,
They hope for them benefits.
So many drift in dreams,
Have no clue what it is they want.
But party just to congregate in hallways,
Just to flaunt...
A getting into college but afraid to polish up,
And succeed.
'Not me.'
Those who go to college,
Should decide with a clear knowledge...
What it is,
They hope from it to get.
And those who go to college,
Should decide with a clear knowledge...
What it is,
They hope for them benefits.
So many drift in dreams,
Have no clue what it is they want.
But party just to congregate in hallways,
Just to flaunt...
A getting into college but afraid to polish up,
And succeed.
'I got in college! '
But...
Are you there in college just to party,
Or to polish and succeed?
'I got in college! '
But...
Are you there in college just to party,
Or to polish and succeed?
Since many are in college,
Just to party and to get a degree.
'Not me! '
But...
Many are in college,
With no knowledge what it takes to succeed.
And those who go to college,
Should decide with a clear knowledge...
What it is,
They hope for them benefits.
And what they wish to get from it.

Virginia is no Place for Virgins
At William and Mary College will have a seminar,
Which will feature sex workers both near and afar,
It is a sort of ‘job career’ type of function I guess,
it’s not for prudish snobs,
The Sex Workers' Art Show will return to Virginia's College of William and Mary for the fourth straight year. Monday night's show features strippers, hookers and other sex workers performing and talking about their jobs.
There will be a pubic forum -check that, - a public forum
They will talk about real things, each one isn’t a fool,
For example, Jo Weldon shared her story of how a stripper job helped pay her way through college and graduate school.
A woman named Dirty Martini, who weighed more than 200 pounds, did a striptease in a G-string and pasties, while a woman named Cono Snatch Zubobinskaya gave an anti-war performance that included a dildo shaped like a gun, the newspaper said.
I wonder they will have stats that include people in the sex industry, who land up dead.
It will not hosted in a dorm,
Some people have complained a college is no place for sex workers to perform.
Most of it, I take it, will be for free,
As Yakov Smirnoff stated “What a country! ”
This will never happen at Texas A & M.

Really, the potential for, first of all, any college graduate today is enormously good. These are good times for anyone with a college degree today, particularly African Americans. With a college degree today, you really breach the unemployment rate.
