He would come in and say he changed his mind -- which was a gilded figure of speech, because he didn't have any.

She Thinks Shes Edith Head
Back in high school I knew a girl
Not too simple and not too kind
We both grew up, but I heard shed changed
From a new wave fan to another kind
She thinks shes edith head
But you might know shes not
The accent in her speech
She didnt have growing up
She thinks shes edith head
Or helen girlie brown
Or some other cultural figure
We dont know a lot about
Its been years since I moved away
But at christmas I come home
And I saw her reflection
In the window of a store
She was talking to herself
Not too simple and not too kind
I walked on by, it was complicated
And it stuck in my mind
She thinks shes edith head
But you might know shes not
The accent in her speech
She didnt have growing up
The accent in her speech
She didnt have growing up
The accent in her speech
She didnt have growing up
She thinks shes edith head
She thinks shes edith head now
She thinks shes edith head
She thinks shes edith head now
She thinks shes edith head
She thinks shes edith head now
She thinks shes edith head
She thinks shes edith head now

Angel. Poem
SIlently I walk alone the day you died. You were. Wiping away the tears. You will never get old.I feel you. The doctor changed his mind. He said he was going to help. But changed his mind. That something she didn't deserve. She died in a mater of two weeks. Written posted 10/19/11 In the memory of my forever friend Helene Susan Nemirow

Today...
Today, the leaves were greener
Today, the sky wasn’t grey
Today, the sun was brighter
Yes, it changed today
Today, people transformed
Today, they weren’t rude
Today, I felt loved
All just today, it’s true
Today, I lived for today
Today, was not for the future
Today, was a great day
Not menial, tiring, brutal
Today, I laughed in silence
Today didn’t make me cry
Today, everything became clearer
But, today, I couldn’t figure out why
And today, if everything changed
And today, if it wasn’t a dream
I don’t know what happened
But today will become everyday, it seems.

People make suggestions on what to say all the time. I'll give you an example; I don't read what's handed to me. People say, 'Here, here's your speech, or here's an idea for a speech.' They're changed. Trust me.

On the speech day, the production designer, who has a lot of say in things, and sometimes I didn't agree with him but I had to do what I was told, wanted the speech day to be all in neutral colours for the women, which was a good thing.

I Don't Want You Anyway
Keep my CD's and books cos my taste has changed anyway
Leave your worries and troubles behind
With the keys to my place
You say that I'll worry
And I can't let you go before
Before I go insane don't need you to explain
Don't want your sympathy gotta tell you finally
Before you walk away there's something I need to say
I didn't want you anyway
I didn't want you anyway
Each step was a little bit further away from
What we never had
You can kid yourself but oh brother
Can't you see that you're just makin' me mad
You say that you're sorry
It doesn't work anymore before
Before I go insane don't need you to explain
Don't want your sympathy gotta tell you finally
Before you walk away there's something I need to say
I didn't want you anyway
I didn't want you anyway
Keep my CD's and books cos my taste has changed anyway
Before I go insane don't need you to explain
Don't want your sympathy gotta tell you finally
Before you walk away there's something I need to say
I didn't want you anyway
I didn't want you anyway
Before I go insane don't need you to explain
Don't want your sympathy gotta tell you finally
Before you walk away there's something I need to say
I didn't want you anyway
I didn't want you anyway

Don't Know Why
I waited 'til I saw the sun
I don't know why I didn't come
I left you by the house of fun
I don't know why I didn't come
I don't know why I didn't come
When I saw the break of day
I wished that I could fly away
Instead of kneeling in the sand
Catching teardrops in my hand
My heart is drenched in wine
But you'll be on my mind
Forever
Out across the endless sea
I would die in ecstasy
But I'll be a bag of bones
Driving down the road along
My heart is drenched in wine
But you'll be on my mind
Forever
Something has to make you run
I don't know why I didn't come
I feel as empty as a drum
I don't know why I didn't come
I don't know why I didn't come
I don't know why I didn't come

oh I really love it here!
oh you've thought of it all!
candlelight! coconut ice! and fun on the floor!
and I reeely love the way you wear your hair
and nothing more
so tell me...
what is going on?
i was sure I'd already gone...
but all you say is we're all spinning
it's really not just me
but that doesn't seem to help me figure out how I
a prisoner in pvc a minute afther three...
it didn't used to be like this
must be all that sleep I missed
yeah but I really love it here!
you've done everything to please!
stolychnaya! banco de gaia! bad timing on tv!
and I reeely love the way you turn
your smile into striptease...
but I'm still not sure what's going on
and I can't help feeling something's wrong
but you just say that we're all spinning
and it's really not just me
but that doesn't seem to help me figure out how I
still wrapped inside your rubber as I wriggle at y
no it didn't used to be like this
must be something strange I kissed...
maybe when my eyes were closed?
so tell me what is going on?
i'm sure that I've already gone...
but all you say is we're all spinning
and it's really not just me
but that doesn't seem to help me figure out how I
still fixed inside your fantasy
a tv refugee...
so tell me what is going on?
just can't help feeling something's wrong...
or is it right this way I feel?
someone get me out of here!!!
i'm waiting on my knees...

Skilful Doctor
Function if you are enough skill,
Or work on nobody in front of you.
The words dawdle the air as you speak,
We have understood them now for you speak.
This palaver describes my speech as solid,
Liquids do run thick, liquify your body.
Overpowering speech is a collection of words
Promulgating action and acts of speech as well.
This policy has remained since the weather
Changed last week, lasting peace has remained.
We are authority, we have skills no person retains,
Both us and you are learned in doctoring.

Act like a giant
So you want to be a giant?
Doing big things, going great places
People that are big and small, knowing your name
Being recognize as power figure to almost all,
One who wins and changes the game
As you grow and become notarized a public figure,
What shall remain the same?
As in remaining grounded,
To never face shame
Just humbly remember
For which you came,
As you reach your goals
your life is now changed

Harmaony, Peace And Love
When I was born on this earth
I didn't know the gist of harmony, peace and love
Being notorious was the most when I was a baby
Played in sand, made sand castles, caught insects
My acts became amusement for my kiths and kins
Time moved on and I moved with it
Sometimes behind, Sometimes ahead
Months changed, Days changed, Dates changed,
Years changed, I changed
Explored voyages
Discovered new roads
Met dignified and assorted mortals
Filled my life with colours
Didn't have hatred feelings for neither superior nor inferior
Witnessed unity, seldom times clashes
Found a space for respect for each other in every heart
But still didn't get the gist of harmony, peace and love
When the time came to leave earth
I found desolation in every eye
All had same heartbeat, same thoughts
Saw the shining stars twinkling
Greif came and glee went away
Seemed like time's halted
A juicy fruit is going to be borne
A fruit with harmony, peace and love
When I had gone, I.......
Realised the gist of harmony, peace and love
When I was born on this earth
I didn't know the gist of harmony, peace and love

So Soon We Change
(rod stewart / chen, savigar, cregan, grainger)
Seems like only yesterday
We were laughing like a couple of kids
Fun we had when first met
Aint been around much since
Sharing every hour every day
Funny how time slips away
But theres no replacement, baby
When the good times fade away
Oh how soon we changed
Oh how soon we changed
Funny how soon we change
Oh how soon we changed
You remember caseys bar
And maxfields after dark
We were different people then
Inseparable never apart
But now the novelty is wearing thin
We spend most time arguing
It was all so easy then
Itll never be again
Oh how soon we changed
Oh how soon we changed
Oh how soon we changed
Oh how soon we changed
I thought I knew you inside out
But obviously I was wrong
Makes no difference what I say
We just dont get along
Face the facts it can never last
Were driffing apart real fast
Id gladly give up everything
To start all over again
Oh how soon we changed
Oh how soon we changed
Funny how soon we changed
Oh how soon we changed
Oh how soon we changed
Funny how soon we changed
Oh how soon we changed
Oh how soon we changed

The Path You Chose
I can remember even as a child
you looked at life as a curiosity.
Asking questions beyond your years,
you were a ‘one off’ oddity.
Even then you had eccentric ways,
it was just the way you were.
You didn’t do it for the attention,
but you got it, and didn’t care.
Your weirdness didn’t bother me,
I accepted you as my friend.
Whenever you were bad mouthed
I defended you to the end.
I was also very proud of you
for your unpretentious way.
You were what I aspired to be,
each and every day.
You saw beyond what others saw,
the grim horrors of poverty.
You wanted to try and eradicate
corruption and dishonesty.
You became a rebel with a cause,
with extreme points of view,
but diplomacy didn’t bring fast returns,
so violence became a part of you.
Your cause changed your character,
you didn’t care who lived or died.
I didn’t like what you had become,
so we said a last goodbye.
The news media kept me up to date
with your violent troubled mind.
Your cause was now to create anarchy,
anywhere and at anytime.
Alcohol and drugs accompanied you
on a different search for paradise.
You, your uniqueness, and your way,
had became someone you despised.
I now look back with deep regret,
perhaps if I hadn’t walked away,
you wouldn’t be lying here today,
with me talking of yesterday.

Whoever thinks that he alone has speech, or possesses speech or mind above others, when unfolded such men are seen to be empty.
Inspite Of Warnings Against It
Bored with your life?
And feel the best way to overcome,
The urge to strike with the biting done to someone...
Is to create conflict?
Inspite of warnings against it!
Then you spot a prey who appears to be innocent.
At least it appears that way from a distance.
How precious do you regard the living of your life?
And just how fast can you run from someone,
You have randomly picked...
Who is in between decisions to walk away or seek revenge.
And you came along to help them finally decide what to do.
How many hiding places can you find from which to choose?
How many times have you heard yourself say...
'But they appeared to be so innocent.
Why couldn't I just walk away?
God why am I so stupid? '
~Do you wish your answer literally?
Or is that just a figure of speech? ~
'How did you know I was here hiding? '
~People like you are all over the place.
Believing they can start something.
To then run and hide.~
'What are you going to do to me? '
~Let's see.
How about ten years of unrelenting agonizing?
But I will let you know,
When and if I become satisfied with that arrangement.~
'I didn't mean to pick on you.
I really didn't.'
~It stopped being about you ten seconds ago.
This...
And what you have committed to doing,
Is about me.
Wouldn't you agree? ~

If a university official's letter accusing a speaker of having a proclivity to commit speech crimes before she's given the speech - which then leads to Facebook postings demanding that Ann Coulter be hurt, a massive riot and a police-ordered cancellation of the speech - is not hate speech, then there is no such thing as hate speech.

Didnt Know
Didn't know what you had
Until you lost it
Didn't know what you own
Until you got it
Didn't know of your sins
Until you fought it.
Didn't know what you needed
Until you sought it.
Didn't know your lies
Until someone spoke them
Didn't know of the truth
Until someone wrote them
Didn't remembered your dreams
Until someone awoke them
Didn't know they died
Until someone chocked them.
Didn't know you had guilt
Until you cried
Didn't know you felt sadness
Until you tried to hide
Didn't know you felt shame
Until you lied
Didn't know you believed in GOD
Until you asked him why.
Didn't know you felt sorrow
Until you shed a tear
Didn't know that you were scared
Until I saw your fear
Didn't know that you hated
Until you were near
Didn't know that you were unhappy
Until you looked in a mirror.
Didn't know who you truly were
Until your ways you sewed
Didn't know that you were evil
Until the truth was showed
Didn't know you did this before
Until I saw all of your woe
Didn't know who you really were
Though I wished then I did know.

Didn't I
I gave my heart and soul to you, girl
(Now didn't I do it, baby, didn't I do it, baby?)
Gave you the love you never knew, girl, oh
(Didn't I do it baby, didn't I do it baby?)
I've cried so many times and that's no lie
It seems to make you laugh each time I cry
Chorus:
Didn't I blow your mind this time
Didn't I
Didn't I blow your mind this time
Didn't I, this time?
I thought that heart of yours was true, girl
(Now, didn't I think it, baby, didn't I think it, baby?)
But this time I'm really leaving you girl, oh
(Hope you know it, baby, hope you know it, baby)
Ten times or more, yes, I walked out that door
Get this into your head, there'll be no more
Chorus
(Didn't I do it baby, didn't I do it baby?)
(Didn't I do it baby, didn't I do it baby?)
Ten times or more, yes, I walked out that door
Get this into your head, there'll be no more
Chorus Ad lib
Spoken:
Girl, can we talk for a second?
(Baby can we talk)
I know it's been a long time
Since someone blew your mind, like I did
(Ooh, baby)
But there'll be other times
(Didn't I blow your mind it happens all the time)
For me and you
(All the time)(Ooh, baby)
And I can see the tears fallin' from your eyes
(I can see the tears falling from your eyes)
Tell me girl did I blow your mind?
Chorus and fade
