Together, we can create a world in which peace is real; in which every human being can thrive; in which all share the promise of our century. I believe we can succeed.

One Promise
One promise you have to make
make this world happy and gay
one promise you have to make
establish peace and pleasure
in this world.
one promise you have to make
never go on war and rage
one promise you have to make
abolish poverty from this world
one promise you have to make
strengthen friendship and brotherhood
in this world
one promise you have to make
not to display racial and religious feelings
which hurts your friend and fellowmen
in open field as these are most precious
assets to be kept in safe custody
in your home
one promise you have to make
make this world heaven of earth.

Here we are trying to mend all the broken hearts
In a world where the pain is the fear
Aint no doubt theres a method to madness here
Set your clock to the start of a brand new year
Shine your heart to the universe and get the news
Not alone never have been, never will be
See the truth, not to mention the promise made
See them all, see them all high on judar rhythm
We began at the very first spring
How the promise will come when the promise is made
We will sing at the very first spring
That the promise will come when the promise is made
Promise is made, promise is made
Shake me up, take me up
Face to face
Lift me up, shake me up
Face to face
Make me real, make me longing to see you smile
Shall we dancing, shall we be the dancing down under
In this life of lives, are we ready to take the chance
Moving to the rhythm, here at last to
Believe

We began at the first real spring
How the promise will come when the promise is made

So Many Changes
As I sit here thinking of what to say
I sort through my thoughts of what's important to me.
There has been so many changes, yet so much more to be done
And a whole world out there for me to see.
The importance of the individual is the single greatest
achievement of the 20th century.
I dream of a time when we can all come together
To better our community relationships
Which could enable us to make a difference
Ridding us of racism, sexism, greed, and
ruthless businesses.
In order to succeed in the future
It's imperative that we prepare to accept human diversity
with respect and without compromise.
So we have to ask our self's, What surprises does the 20th century
hold for us?

The Promise Of A New Day
(p. lord / s. st. victor / v.j. smith / p. abdul)
Eagles calling
And hes calling your name
Tides are turning bringing winds of change
Why do I feel this way
The promise of a new day
Chorus:
The promise
The promise of a new day
As thru time
The earth moves
Under my feet
One step closer
To make love complete
What has the final say
The promise of a new day
And so time over time
What will change the world
No one knows
So the only promise
Is a day to live, to give
And share with one another
See the wisdom
From mistakes in our past
Hear the younger
Generation ask
Why do I feel this way
The promise of a new day
Chorus
And so time over time
What will change the world
No one knows
So the only promise
Is a day to live, to give
And share with one another
Repeat song

The Murder Of Humanity
Once there lived two friends,
human and humanity.
human was loving and caring,
while humanity spread peace and brotherhood.
under their friendship tree,
everyone was happy and merry.
in the same world lived Hate and Greed, full of sinister.
very different from all the other.
who were always jealous of human and humanity,
and they tried hard to part the friends
and throw them away in different ends.
the did succeed,
in the heart of human they planted hate-seed.
soon the seed started to rear,
and human was left with no love and care.
it turned furious towards humanity.
all their friendship woes turned into enmity.
hate and greed infected human one after the other.
and made human to commit the murder.
end of peace was marked with the murder of humanity,
in some lost corner is the grave of humanity,
now the world knows only hate, greed and enmity.
Peaceful Prayers
Let there be peace in the world.
Let us all see peace and not war.
Let us all have peace in the world.
Let all our statesmen know no violence,
Let all love peace with warm vehemence,
Let all be clothed with passionate patience,
Let all respect peace with real reverence.
Let peace pervade every political terrain,
Let peace calm the spirits of every domain,
Let peace be at peace with every reign,
Let each achieve peace with poor pain.
Peace, to you we plead: come to us.
Peace, we entreat you: deign on us.
Peace, we want you: envelope us.
Let our homes be adorned with peace,
Let our streets be paved with peace,
Let our cities be set on a hilltop of peace.
Let peace taint our every thought.
Let there be peace, let peace never cease
Let there be peace, let war forever cease.

Twentieth Century Fox
Written by The Doors
Well, she's fashionably lean
Hey and she's fashionably late
She'll never gonna wreck a scene
She'll never break a date
But now she's no drag
Just watch the way that she walks
She's a twentieth century fox
She's a twentieth century fox
She's got world, she's got the world
All locked up inside a plastic box
She's a twentieth century fox, oh yeah
She's the queen of cool
And she's the lady who waits
Sent to manless school
She never gonna hesitate
Well know she don't waste her time
On all this elementary talk
She's a twentieth century fox
She's a twentieth century fox
She got the world, babe,
Now she got this world
She got it all locked up
Inside some kind of plastic plastic box
She's a Twentieth century fox, oh yeah
She's a Twentieth century fox, oh yeah
She's a Twentieth century fox, oh yeah
She's a Twentieth century fox

The Real Deal
Just with You and me...
I sit.
Grateful to have this peace.
And with You to share it with.
Alone but not lonely.
With flaws known You condone,
And accept.
So blessed I feel...
When a togetherness is present.
Just with You and me...
I sit.
Grateful to have this peace.
And with You to share it with.
Things and the trappings things bring,
To never stay.
I can say with You...
I am filled with joy and my most happiest.
No matter what comes to cloud or dampen my day...
In my heart you are,
As it has been that way.
Just with You and me...
I sit.
Grateful to have this peace.
And with You to share it with.
You remain for me...
The Real Deal.

I am optimistic that the ancient values that have sustained mankind are today reaffirming themselves to prepare us for a kinder, happier twenty-first century. I pray for all of us, oppressor and friend, that together we succeed in building a better world through human understanding and love, and that in doing so we may reduce the pain and suffering of all sentient beings.

This World Is Magic
Dreams can make you fly
This world is magic
Rainbows in the sky
This world is magic to me
Dreams can make you fly
This world is magic
We need peace on earth
The second birth of paradise
This world is magic
This world is magic to me
This world is magic
What is the magic of this world
What is the magic of this world
What is the magic of this world
What is the magic of this world
What is the magic of this world
What is the magic of this world
We need peace on Earth
The second birth of paradise
This world is what we share
The nature and the air
Life could be paradise
Eternal peace is what we need
To live in harmony
For human history
Pray for a better world
When you close your eyes again
Planet Earth, that's the name of my place
I'm born in this world, in the entire space
Planet earth, is my home, is my face
Follow your trace embrace this human race
In case, there's a new decade in human history
I'm talking about respect this is my destiny
Feel free, and stop running away
From the doubt in your mind,- never fade to grey
Planet Earth, gentle and blue
Then cold as a rock, or ice without a hue
Planet earth, made out of dust
A big ball of metal, condemn to rust
Pray, let your soul be free
Find out how to heal a bleeding wound don't stand around
Life could be paradise, peace on earth is what I found
All around in a magic world from the air to the ground

Dream World
By david jones and steve pitts
Walking around with your head in the clouds
You dont care.
Why must you walk when you know
Youre not going anywhere.
Why dont you come out of your dream world
Its not real.
Its not the way it seems to be.
Why dont you come into the real world.
Come with me.
Well share our thoughts, forget the dreams.
Youll see.
Always pretending that everythings fine
When its not.
Why must you lie when you know that
Youll aways get caught.
Why dont you come out of your dream world
Its not real.
Its not the way it seems to be.
Why dont you come into the real world.
Come with me.
Well share our thoughts, forget the dreams.
Youll see.
[instrumental]
Why dont you come out of your dream world
Its not real.
Its not the way it seems to be.
Why dont you come into the real world.
Come with me.
Well share our thoughts, forget the dreams.
Youll see.
Youll see.
Youll see.

In The 21st Century
When the river runs dry, what will we say
Na na na na na na na na hey hey
In the 21st century
Oh when the river runs dry, what will we do
Na na na na na na na na oh-hoo
In the 21st century
When the river runs dry, what will we wear
Na na na na na na na na where?
To the 21st century
Now some people sing, some people say
Na na na na na na na na hey hey
Get up off your knees and pray
Pray that the earth dont tire, of the way that were puttin her down
Hope that the universe dont say Im still expanding but your time is up
Some people sing, some people sigh
Na na na na na na na na why?
Why cant we live in peace
Some people sing, some people say
Na na na na na na na na hey hey
In the 21st century
Hope that the earth dont tire, of the way that were puttin her down
Hope the universe dont say - stop spinning around
Hope the world dont say that weve got no place to go
Hope the universe dont say Ill be expanding for a while, you? no!
In the 21st century
In the 21st century
In the 21st century
In the 21st century
In the 21st century

When the river runs dry, what will we say

I Promise You
i would walk through the moon and the sun just to be with you i promise.
I promise to be there for you in all of your times of joy and sorrow.
I promise to climb the highest mountain and swim the deapest ocean for you alone.I promise to make a new memory with you each and every day with you.I Promise to cry a million tears and walk a million miles to be with you.I promise to live and care for you without change.I promise to do anything for you just to see the beauty of your ravishing smile.I promise to find a new way to see fires of passion burning.I would buy a thousand rose for you just to se you smile i promise.I promise to be the best dad to our children.I will laugh with you, i will fight with you, i will share the same breath with you i promise.I promise never to steal, lie, or cheat. But if i'll steal, i promise to steal away your sorrows. And if i'll lie, i promise to lie with you all thd nights of my life. And if i'll cheat, i promise to cheat your death, because i couldn't live a day without you.I promise you.

Liberation Seeker
The following poem is the translation of my hindi poem Mumukhshu from the book Sab Rang
.--0-
Twentieth century
at the fag end of life
standing & waiting
to turn into history
still in two minds
thinking what to say
and to gift
twenty-first century
on its birthday.
Nuclear holocaust & nuclear proliferation?
warning on depletion of ozone?
class and color struggle?
devalued or hollow speeches
on environmental degradation?
or
the human race
which has lost its sense
in the murky world of
separatism, terrorism & extremism
playing into the hand of cancer, AIDS and drugs
yet wearing a mask of humanity and concern
weeping for fellow human beings.
Suddenly
twentieth century smiled
an aura surrounded it
springing new hope
why? why?
after all why?
twenty-first century be birthed by it
why it shouldn’t allow 21st century
to stand on it own foundation
let 21st century build itself de-novo
without the crutches of 20th century.
So without notice
20th century found solace into oblivion
into time and history
allowing 21st century to emerge
with a new dawn
liberation seeker
waiting to liberate itself
from its previous deeds

Heal Our Land
They say it is the land of promise..Mindanao
The land of beautiful people
The land of dreams, hope and faith
Now it 's gone..the promise..
Now it's war torn, of children crying
orphaned, untimely deaths..of bloodshed
What can i do to help?
what can we share to lessen the hurts?
Who can help us in this strife?
My heart bleeds for them..
I came from this place of promise
And now..it's gone..gone..
If only we bow down and humble ourselves
Humble ourselves and pray
God in His goodness and loving care
Will listen to our cries and will HEAL OUR LAND
And my prayers will be
Let there be peace in Mindanao
Let there be joy in our hearts
Let the children play
Let there be freedom, voice to be heard
Let there be peace from within.

Fresh Fruits of the Spirit - Peace
Peace
Because we have sought the Lord our God, yearning for Him with all our desire, He has given us rest and peace on every side.
And even when we lie down to sleep, You alone, O Lord, will keep us safe.
2 Chronicles 14: 7; Psalm 4: 8, paraphrased
“When people are saying, all is well and secure, and there is peace and safety, then in a moment unforeseen destruction (ruin and death) will come upon them as suddenly as labor pains come upon a woman with child; and they shall by no means escape, for there will be no escape.” 1 Thessalonians 5: 3, AMP
Dear Lord,
These texts are at opposing ends of the spectrum.
Do we need a reality check?
You promise peace, but there is no peace in this world today…
far cry from it.
Yes, we hear peace phrases spoken by both preachers and politicians,
but according to the last text, there is no peace.
So if there is no peace, how do we get this fruit?
My Child,
The only peace you will ever have is in Me.
This world does not offer peace – though it promises you many things.
Some things are good, but most lead your mind far away
from Truth, and from Me.
Please lean on me. You will never be too heavy for Me to hold.
I have much to teach you; to share with you so you will
be strengthened for troublesome times ahead. Yes, many will cry “peace and safety” from now until I return,
but don’t be misled.
I, alone, Am the Way, the Truth and the Life.
And it is in these three that you will find the
fruit of perfect peace.
“You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast,
because he trusts in you.”
Isaiah 26: 3, NIV
