It is important that people support prisoners of the Italian state like Joe in whatever way they can. I was not allowed contact with a lawyer for the first 24 hours, and no phone calls were permitted, but apparently telegrams have been getting through to Joe.

Attica State

What a waste of human power
What a waste of human lives
Shoot the prisoners in the towers
Forty-three poor widowed wives
Attica state, attica state,
Were all mates with attica state
Media blames it on the prisoners
But the prisoners did not kill
Rockefeller pulled the trigger
That is what the people feel
Attica state, attica state,
Were all mates with attica state
Free the prisoners, jail the judges
Free all prisoners everywhere
All they want is truth and justice
All they need is love and care
Attica state, attica state,
Were all mates with attica state
They all live in suffocation
Lets not watch them die in sorrow
Nows the time for revolution
Give them all a chance to grow
Attica state, attica state,
Were all mates with attica state
Come together join the movement
Take a stand for human rights
Fear and hatred clouds our judgement
Free us all from endless night
Attica state, attica state,
Were all mates with attica state
Attica state, attica state,
We all live in attica state
Attica state, attica state,
Attica, attica, attica state

In America you can go on the air and kid the politicians, and the politicians can go on the air and kid the people. Personal relations are the important thing for ever and ever and not this outer life of telegrams and anger.

Leave Your Phone At Home

Sometimes it’s better to leave
your phone at home,
You don’t have to answer,
people leave you alone.
Now, it’s St. Patty’s Day,
everyone’s Green and very Gay,
wishing in a most happy way,
to have fun by the ton
which is better then O.K.
Now, leaving my phone
at home made my
night even better,
No calls, anD no

St. Patty’s Day letters.
Except I see
tons of missed calls
from caretaker Sherry,
who would rather be merry.
Those calls I’m glad I missed,
those calls where about Cockroach,
who I am pissed.
Now, can’t you get
a life even on a holiday?
Leave alone
Suzae Chevalier?
No you can’t
so you make Sherry pay.
Don’t you think she has
better things to do?
Then play mommy
for you?
Now, you look
like a fool.

My father wasn't a very good lawyer. He thought the law was sacred and something that was meant to help people. He didn't charge people like he should have... which is why I was allowed to play bars and strip joints when I was 14.

Five Minutes To Midnight

Break or be broken
A sensitive target
A thirty day boy in
A twenty day city
Nothing is easy
You know their methods
(yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah)
Just for a moment
That beats creation
Waiting for the flash to come
A large map of nowhere
A statue of paper
Nothing can stop them
Theyre all white and spiteful
Its not important
Use any language
Before it gets too late
Call for a doctor
For hours and hours
They built us a tower
You know how men are
We fell to the power
Stay with the money
til five to midnights past
Twenty years later
Theres someone to see you
Your prayers are answered
Hes saying something
Do you know something?
I dont remember
Hot as a furnace
Wing to wing contact
This happy solution
Wouldnt it rock you?
The choice of a weapon
The first and the last word
Waiting for the flash to come
Its not important
Use any language
Before it gets too late
Call for a doctor
Waiting for the heat to come
You know how men are
How men are, how men are
Do you know something?
I dont remember
Hot as a furnace
Wing to wing contact

ICE Sally Being Nosy

Sally is just a typical woman and nosy
Upon reading this note - ICE Sally
and with her contact phone number
She got furious like a tiger, after
reading it from contact page of her husband cell phone
She summoned the husband, demanded for a reason
Why she is being iced, dumped or to divorce her?
The husband just laughed at her
He said; Sally you are really so snoopy
ICE is short for - In Case of Emergency

Contact

Ive got a lump in my throat about the note you wrote
Id come on over but I havent got a raincoat
Have we got contact
You and me?
Have we got touchdown
Cant we be?
Ive got contacts in my book and in my eyes
My good connection on the telephone never lies
Have we got contact
You and me?
Have we got touchdown
Cant we be?
Ive got a list of the people I have known
Im never alone on the end of a phone
Have we got contact
You and me?
Have we got touchdown
Cant we be?
Ive got a lump in my throat about the note you wrote

(Personal Poem) Big Sister is Missing

You don't have to sanction what I'm doing.
I need not your approval to continue on.
Though at times it would be nice.
To hear from you.
To say I'm glad your still alive.
But silence is all you give me.
I think its all I'll ever see.
In a world behind closed doors.
Miles off in the distance who cares.
Well I do.
And I'll remind you everyday if I have to.
I'm not going anywhere.
And this I swear.
With every angry breath of air.
I still love you.
We are blood and it'll never be forgotten.
Even in hell on earth and much worse.
I will never speak to you from something rehearsed.
I will speak only the word that comes to me.
Small and incidental to most.
But I don't care because I'm trying to reach a ghost.
Somebody who disappeared over five months ago.
poof gone with no given notice.
Not a single phone call.
Nothing to let me know the kids are alright.
So just talk to me my big sister.
Contact me by email,
Contact me by phone.
Contact me by address.
Anyway to let me knowing your doing alright.
Cause I no longer see your light.
I'm so afraid something bad might have happen.
Without a trace, with my soul searching for the right words to say.
I'm sorry for anything and everything I've done to you.
Anything to bring you back to my reality.
A wake up call.
Can you hear me at all.
This is not funny.
I don't know where you are.
Is it far.
I'm so in the dark.
I'm going pray for you everyday till contact is made.

I Have The Touch

The time I like is the rush hour, cos I like the rush
The pushing of the people, I like it all so much
Such a mass of motion, do not know where it goes
I move with the movement and ... I have the touch
Im waiting for ignition, Im looking for a spark
Any chance collision and I light up in the dark
There you stand before me, all that fur and all that hair
Oh, do I dare ... I have the touch
Only, only
Wanting contact
Only, only
Im wanting contact
Only, only
Im wanting contact with you
Shake those hands, shake those hands
Give me the thing I understand
Shake those hands, shake those hands
Shake hands, shake hands.
Any social occasion, hello, how do you do
All those introductions, I never miss my cue
So before a question, so before a doubt
My hand moves out and ... I have the touch
Only, only
Wanting contact
Only, only
Im wanting contact
Only, only
Im wanting contact with you
Shake those hands, shake those hands
Give me the thing I understand
Shake those hands, shake those hands
Shake those hands
Pull my chin, stroke my hair, scratch my nose, hug my knees
Try drink, food, cigarette, the tension will not ease
I tap my fingers, fold my arms, breathe in deep, cross my legs
Shrug my shoulders, stretch my back, but nothing seems to please
I need contact
I need contact
Nothing seems to please
I need contact
Tac-tacatac, tac-tacatac
I need contact
Nothing seems to please
I need contact
Tac-tacatac, tac-tacatac
I need contact
Ah, tac-tacatac
I need contact
Nothing seems to please
I need contact
I need contact.

This Seems To Be A Wish Inflicted

It all has been stated,
Many times before to go ignored.

Once the elderly become targets,
To direct disrespect...
The entire foundation begins to poison.

And when the foundation is allowed to crack,
There's nothing of quality coming back.
In fact little of it will be remembered,
Since none of it will no longer exist.

And this seems to be a wish inflicted,
To come true.
As evident as the advocating of ignorance,
Allowed and permitted as a fad dismissed!

Homebase

People do make decisions to leave a comfort zone,
Wilfully...
To seek opportunities elsewhere,
With a doing of this regretfully, sometimes.
And there are those who feel less comforted,
By a showing of a lack of support...
Within their own homebase.
Unable to create their opportunities,
Without feeling to be chased away.

Knowing to maneuver around this truth,
Is too much to convince others to prove.
So they leave happily with this acknowledged...
A growth that explores life,
Is much more important to experience...
Than withnessing a tired stagnation permitted to exist.
While others sit with no ambition,
Advocating the acceptance of this.

Now...
To return with a learning process to share,
With others prepared to become aware...
Is a different story.
Since one's tolerance level has broadened,
To be or not to be involved.

Pain Of Existence Without.....

It was pain of existence without your phone calls.....
This pain was not related to time, as time moved on.....
but the pain remained, pain and more pain....
without a phone call from you........
Time started moving, but there was no phone call, , , , , ,
I was lost with the acute awareness of this great pain.....
pain and more pain......
I wish I could tell you how much your phone calls mean to me, , , , ,
what if we have not met, what if we have not seen each other
but dear your phone call is what makes me pull through my day....
your voice is a magic to me, it is music to my ears....
but dear you never called.... and the pain remains...
The pain reminds me of the wonderful times we had....
the long phone calls.... your voice, your silence, , your moans
all this was so wonderful, which meant so much to me....
but dear you never called........
come back and call me dear...... and tell me how much I mean to you
call me once my love........
I wait for your magic voice, for all wonderful things you tell me....
for all the beautiful moments over phone we had.......
I wait with great pain, pain and pain.....
Just to hear you..... or get a message from you
Your messages are my breakfast, my dinner, , , ,
I sleep thinking of you hearing you, reading you...
I wake up to read your message..........
But dear you never called you never messaged....
come back just once my love come back
I just want to tell how much I miss your voice.............

I refuse to be a clone.

From birth to death it seems to me.
That we are never truly free.
To be what we would like to be.
We are expected to conform
to what’s accepted as the norm.
Dictated by society.

WE go to school where we are taught.
To memorise the things we ought.
But no one spares a single thought.
About what we would like to be.
They do not care apparently.
We can’t escape too firmly caught.

Though some of us a very few.
Rebel and we refuse to do
What the system wants us to.
But most accept the status quo.
Because they aren’t allowed to know.
That they are entitled to pursue.

Their cherished dreams in their own way
and no one has the right to say.
That they cannot but they will pay.
The price for their rebellion
against the states opinion.
But some. still do it anyway.

I’m happy to defy the state
and take control of my own fate.
Because I don’t appreciate
being told I must obey
When I can see a better way
than that dictated by the state.
