My friends say, 'Man you're going to have kids sleeping on pillowcases with your face on it! You're going to be on toothbrushes and magnets and stuff.' I guess now that I'm a dad, I'm thrilled about that.

World Teacher
A drum A drum
He comes
There comes the world teacher
Every blade of grass is thrilled
Every dust particle is thrilled
Every direction East West North South
Is happy though in sadness
They are happy
Because he will teach us sanity
They are sad because they know beforehand
That the son of Love and Light
Will once again bleed
He will find life in death
And the world will learn
That a battle is not lost
Until and unless it is lost

The Sky Is High
The sky is high.
I'm thrilled to uplift and pierce,
Through a capacity.
The Sun on me sets a glow.
Deserving of this quickened drift...
I'm in ecstasy!
Something fresh with blessings,
Is going to happen!
Packed all doubts to leave to keep this breeze...
Licking on me.
To soar,
Effortlessly!
The sky is high.
I'm thrilled to uplift and pierce,
Through a capacity.
The Sun on me sets a glow.
Deserving of this quickened drift...
I'm in ecstasy!
Nothing is there to dare my movement.
Aware I am that I've got to fly.
Obstacles small and great are crumbling.
Just like the leaves,
Under my feet.
That fell from the Autumn,
October trees.
The sky is high.
I'm thrilled to uplift and pierce,
Through a capacity.
The Sun on me sets a glow.
Deserving of this quickened drift...
I'm in ecstasy!
And I reach for the sky.
Yes, that sky that's so high!
Something fresh is going to happen!
All doubts are packed...
And ready to leave!
And I lift effortlessly!
The sky is high.
I'm thrilled to uplift and pierce,
Through a capacity.
The Sun on me sets a glow.
Deserving of this quickened drift...
I'm in ecstasy!
The sky is high.
I reach for stars so clear,
A smile appears in my eyes.

Sweet Springtime
It was in the prime
Of the sweet springtime
In the linnet's throat
Trembled the love note,
And the love-stirred air
Thrilled the blossoms there.
Little shadows danced,
Each a tiny elf
Happy in large light
And the thinnest self.
It was but a minute
In a far-off spring,
But each gentle thing,
Sweetly wooing linnet,
Soft thrilled hawthorn tree,
Happy shadowy elf,
With the thinnest self,
Live on still in me.
It was in the prime
Of the past springtime!

Christmas Again
Christmas comes but once a year,
But when it does we parents fear;
The kids have got it sussed you see,
It's time to fleece both you and me.
The whole year round they plot and scheme,
They make their plans, they dream their dreams;
The list of goodies they'll receive
Is getting harder to believe.
No matter how we put them off
They only sneer and laugh and scoff;
'I want the best, and I deserve
To get it! ' boy they've got a nerve.
When I was young, and one of four,
One present thrilled me to the core;
I got my other bits and such,
But now the kids they get too much.
They want it all, and on a plate,
I reckon now it's just too late;
We'll have to do as we are told
By children who are far too bold.
Our kids will win and we will lose,
'Cause they know every single ruse;
Our wallets and our purses, they
Are vacuous come Christmas day.

The Altar
Alone, remote, nor witting where I went,
I found an altar builded in a dream—
A fiery place, whereof there was a gleam
So swift, so searching, and so eloquent
Of upward promise, that love’s murmur, blent
With sorrow’s warning, gave but a supreme
Unending impulse to that human stream
Whose flood was all for the flame’s fury bent.
Alas! I said,—the world is in the wrong.
But the same quenchless fever of unrest
That thrilled the foremost of that martyred throng
Thrilled me, and I awoke … and was the same
Bewildered insect plunging for the flame
That burns, and must burn somehow for the best.

Thrilled By The Cold
I have thrilled, past was present, we were stock-still,
Stoic people were like us, rather longer in health;
But we were still like the ice in stillness,
Stiffly sticking to the air, of bad warmth.
I have mounted on a mountainous mule,
A mule of worth, such a donkey for me,
This trail leads south where the river arrives,
We cross a bridge too well, we are this mountain.
I am losing more men, and we are now again still,
Stigmatized by the cold, and the flu had arrived.
My mighty river so bold, was against me for a long time,
Rivers attached to my writing were indeed mighty.
Bad warmth was the ritualistic belief,
A little cold does no good, I am not thrilled!

Manifested
Thrilled,
Incorporated,
Inscribed in gold with the love of my muse;
For i have now made your name manifested!
And like a farewell poem to my lover.
Danish nobility,
Famous with my mind to touch your heart;
And like a new translation based on the original Hebrew texts! !
She brews and he brews like Hebrew,
But incorporated is my love towards your heart;
And inscribed in gold is the love of my muse,
For, you are thrilled with my works.

Wallflowers
Assimilated comfortability,
Can be yours routinely.
With dependable reliability,
With those alike who seek it.
But none of that is on this tray...
As an activity,
Offered today.
Those who wish to play,
Old geezers peeking easily out of windows...
Determined to dose,
Will not find too many...
Excitedly curling up their toes,
Thrilled.
Snap out of it!
Wallflowers hanging up their lives to age,
Are times that have rapidly moved away.
Get up, get with it and get active...
If you don't want to be among,
Those dismissed as if they haven't lived.

I was just thrilled to get the gig to begin with. Ten years later to still have it is not only thrilling but also somewhat of a puzzlement.

It is the vice of a vulgar mind to be thrilled by bigness.
