The days of the future stand in front of us
Like a line of candles all alight----
Golden and warm and lively little candles.
The days that are past are left behind,
A mournful row of candles that are out;
The nearer ones are still smoking,
Candles cold, and melted, candles bent.,

When change is a crisis that decolours your life,

Distraction
I felt as tho I was going crazy.
Speaking to all and doing my work as needed but life seamed like it was falling on me from above like it blocked out my sight to see and receive instantly. I'm being hit like never before a distraction to stop me from walking right out of thee old an into something new. I read his words, then I cried, O these lies
How can a woman’s love lie only between her thighs?
Foremost I admired him, his work was set on another stage
Later I concluded his words of women were words of rage

For on the faces of all women you can trace

Refusing Then To Listen
There were those selected and chosen,
To represent their causes.
With a reflecting of their priorities,
And interests kept protected.
There were those denied,
And deemed not qualified.
Although they produced credentials,
To prove their experiences were essential.
Today those denied,
And deemed yesterday not qualified...
Are discovered to have experiences,
That should have never been dismissed.
But time does not allow to have those yesterdays,
Replaced with a catching up to date.
And,
What could have been of benefit and useful to them,
Those refusing then to listen...
Would have been paths freed of debris with clarity.
