Waiting for the Summer

Warm Summer…
Bumblebee flies to the south
Hailed by the beautiful blossom orchid
Summer..oh Summer…

Awe grows on the way to the summer twilight..
Wish she could find the summer
Before she leaves the space
Forsake all Heavenly-Earth things

Summer..oh..Summer

Like the Flies in Winter

like flies at the end of summer/we all slow down as age advances, as age, time and clocks advance/ the coming ocean of time/like London Bridges, we all fall down

Like flies in winter, near a cold white windowpane, who are slowing like molasses. Cold lonliness on one side/white paint chips on the other

Like flies in winter/flies in autumn, who are swimming throught the air in slow motion.

Not so much the flies of summer

godblessamen

like fireflies flickering in the end/we are here and we are gone,
we eventually burn out.

Cant Tame The Lion

In the midst of a dream I swear I saw you... standing there
In a sea of emotion with faithful devotion... you were there
In heat of the night under the street lights... once again
At the edge of the fire for the love of the jungle... again and again, oh yeah
They cant tame the lion
Cant tame the lion
They cant tame the lion
One night in detroit, yes I swear I saw you... standing there
In a summer of dreams down by the river... you were there
I remember... its all so clear
In the midst of a dream, yes I swear I say you... standing there
They cant tame the lion
Cant tame the lion
They cant tame the lion
In the midst of a dream I swear I saw you... standing there
In a sea of emotion with faithful devotion... you were there
I remember... its all so clear
In the embers of reckless years
In the midst of a dream I swear I saw you... standing there
They cant tame the lion
Cant tame the lion
They cant tame the lion
At the edge of the fire, for the love of the jungle
They cant tame the lion
Cant tame the lion
They cant tame the lion

Summer Nights

Winters almost gone,
Oh how Ive waited so long
For summer nights.
When theres magic in the air
And I dont have a care,
All that matters to me
Is that you are here
On summer nights.
Theres a little caf
Where we can hear music play.
They keep the lights turned down low
Its a place where lovers go.
There youll hold me tight and say
Our love will always be this way
On summer nights.
At the end of the day
We can go down to the bay
And together hand in hand
We will walk along the sand
On summer nights.
In our little caf
Well dance the night away
And we know our love will be
Always true eternally.
And when the moon begins to shine
I can see that you are mine
On summer nights.
On summer nights.
On summer nights.

Slow Summer Dancin'

I'll set the stage while she's still dancing
I'll make the music soft and slow
Then i'll turn down the lights
Make things just right
For every slow song that we know
Over and over again
One summer night
(do do do)
We fell in love
One summer night
I held you tight
(one summer, one summer)
You and i
(one summer, one summer)
Under the moon for love
(ooo one summer, one summer)
We'll spin around this room together
I'll treat my angel really nice
We'll fall in love, we'll fall forever
Thank god for lazy summer nights
Over and over again
One summer night
(do do do)
(one summer, one summer)
I kissed your lips
(one summer, one summer)
One summer night
(one summer, one summer)
I held you close
(one summer, one summer)
You and i
(one summer, one summer)
Under the moon of love
(ooo one summer, one summer)

March Flies

Now comes the time when we douse flies
With various kinds of sprays
The sand flies, and the house flies,
And the flies with furtive ways.
But I keep my hate for the large flies
That come for the tree-lined creek
Those arch flies, the March flies
With a crosscut saw for a beak.

Now, most flies rouse in the autumn
From the summer's drowsy daze,
And they bite as nature taught 'em,
In various styles and ways.
They nip, or they stab or they burrow;
But the fly that knocks me out
Is the March fly, with the dull, dead eye
And a crosscut saw for a snout.

Now the house flies come to the table
Or busily play on the pane;
And our rage and heat they calmly treat
With the uttermost disdain.
And the buzz-flies buzz and blunder,
And the sandflies dig right in;
But my whole soul shrinks when the March fly sinks
His crosscut under my skin.

He's a sneak and an arrant coward,
And the lowest of low-down cows,
By nature ghoulishly dowered
With a weapon no law allows.
And it isn't the pain he gives me
Nor the blood he may chance to draw,
It's the loathsome way that he makes foul play
With his really terrible,
Most unbearable,
Horrible crosscut saw.

Summer Melanoma

‘That's nice, ' I said, as Juno bathed me
In her sun.
Soon, a bronze Adonis - ogling girls!
It must be done!

I rolled over; bared a snowy skin
To bake and burn and sear beneath a din
Of ultraviolet rays…

Now I'm on the ward, I count the days to
Lesser pain, torrential rain; accepting
I'm a fool to be so vain!

I bore an awful mole, you see -
A growth, a blighted entity
Presenting as an ugly melanoma!

Oh! how tricky life can be
When unprotected by the sea, to
Sizzle with a barbecue aroma!

Someone Different

There are those who have identities,
And have known themselves so well...
They at times offend others,
Who have been given a perception...
Of an image that conflicts with their beliefs.
To leave the person they finally meet,
After never having met before...
Disappointing their expectations.

'I thought you would be someone different? '

~Really?
I wish I knew who you had spoken to.
I'm sure they were as close to me,
As a passerby on the street.
Or flourishing an embellishment.
It would have given me more time to rehearse,
That person you believed you would meet.~

'I know.
At least I would have had more time,
To re-act appropriately.'

~You're doing fine.
Perhaps with conversation,
I can assist in eliminating your confusion.
We can try that if you wish? ~

'Okay.
Say something sarcastic.'

~To you about you or just in general?
Now I am confused.
Do you wish to know 'me'?
Or just be entertained? ~

Summer Girls

When the sun rise
Dont let the time flies,
dont try to ignore, dont be bore
It's time to get up our sleepy heart
make this season yours,
in your life this should be part.

Young girl with a demure smile
Go out and let your smile shine.
With your sleepy and yet twinkled eyes,
be bright like the sun, see how it's fine.

Young girl with the brightest smile,
bright like the summer sun
You're the child of a summer fun,
go ahead curly-heared girl,
be a friend to those who shy,
it's time to be free under the summer sky.

You are the summer girls,
you found out from the start.
The summer lovers
who fell in love without fear.
Who chase the wind and fly
soar above the clouds,
laugh loud
scream and shout.
Be the summer voice
you are the summer girls,
you can make a choice.

Sing as the birds flies,
they heard the rythm
you have the hymm,
see how the they dance
beneathe that blue sky.

On your cheeks the wind will kiss
listen to your heartbeat
taste the sweat.
Dont worry about the bothering sound
when those boys and girls are around
be the thirteenth
with those fourteenth...
explore, have fun.

The summer will end soon,
and so the summer friends.
One by one they will gone,
and you will see what's remain.
Keep the memories
remember like you were always there-
The girl with a brigthest smile,
the girl with a demure smile,
you are the summer girls
that will always be remembered.

Schoolchildren Singing Particle Man

Particle man, particle man
Doing the things a particle can
Whats he like? its not important
Particle man
Is he a dot, or is he a speck?
When hes underwater does he get wet?
Or does the water get him instead?
Nobody knows, particle man
Triangle man, triangle man
Triangle man hates particle man
They have a fight, triangle wins
Triangle man
Universe man, universe man
Size of the entire universe man
Usually kind to smaller man
Universe man
Hes got a watch with a minute hand,
Millenium hand and an eon hand
When they meet its a happy land
Powerful man, universe man
Person man, person man
Hit on the head with a frying pan
Lives his life in a garbage can
Person man
Is he depressed or is he a mess?
Does he feel totally worthless?
Who came up with person man?
Degraded man, person man
Triangle man, triangle man
Triangle man hates person man
They have a fight, triangle wins
Triangle man

My Summer Love

I sit in the sun
Waiting to get a tan
I lie in the heat
With my hand as a fan

What Summer means to me
No one understands it
I will teach you summer love
bit by bit

Summer brings warmth and sun
Not like bitterness of Winter
I prefer sun and heat
not all of the seasons has that

I want summer to last
forever and ever
though one day it will end
I will wait for I can't lose...

Impressively Dressed

Economically,
They have kept themselves detached.
Preferring instead,
To pick up paychecks...
With a determination,
To keep themselves impressively dressed.
Entertained and free of stress.

And yet,
Expectations they keep are high and demanding.
With hand outs to leech as taught.
