You know what it's like to persuade a pigheaded child to do something they don't want to. If they hear the same suggestion from someone else, they'll go right off and do it.

It's just a suggestion
Just incase tomorrow never come
tell that person you love that you love him/her it will ease your heart well its just a suggestion
leave drugs and alcohol it doesnt help you with anything. You gain nothing instead you loose everything.
I didnt force you to do it but its just a suggestion
just incase tomorrow never come
tell the police that you were raped that your pants or skirt was pulled down so that no one else fall on your trap
report to the police that child was stolen or that man was hijacked or that woman was mugged or that boy was killed
tell the police you know of someone who does human trafficking
tell them you were used and made a slave didnt eat at all.
Tell someone you need help you were not involved in that incident
mostly just tell yourself you are a success
it was just a suggestion to suggest a suggestion but that was just a suggestion to suggest you are the best and
I
am THE LEGEND

Once I could persuade these guys that all I wanted to hear from them was what they did - Tell me what you do - once you can persuade someone that this is all you're after, you can't shut them up because we're all fascinated by what we do.

Song: XI
Mother, mother, do you not hear?
Mother, they come; there is news to tell!
– Give me your hands, my daughter dear:
'Tis but a ship that saileth well.
Mother dear, have a care, give heed!
–They go, my daughter, away they speed.
Mother, the danger is sore, alas!
– Child, my child, it will quickly pass.
Mother, mother, She draweth near!
– It is down in the harbour, daughter dear.
Mother, mother, She opens the door!
– Child, they go, to return no more.
Mother, She enters! I am afraid!
– Child, they now have the anchor weighed.
Mother, I hear Her speaking low.
– Child, my child, it is they that go.
Mother, She makes the stars go dark!
– Child, 'tis the sails of a shadowy bark.
Mother, She knocks at the casement still!
– Child, maybe it is fastened ill. . . .
Mother, mother, my sight grows dim. . . .
– Child, they sail for the open sea.
On every hand I can hear but Him. . . .
– O child, what is it, and who is He?

I Wont Move Over
(clarke / sylvester / hicks)
Say what you want, think what you like
You wont persuade me
My flame will keep on burning I know its not over
My eyes dont see, my ears dont hear
All those stories
Going in circles, circulating
That its over
She gave to me, I gave to her
A token of our love
On the understanding that wed give them back
As a message that were through
I still got mine and I aint go hers
Thats how I know for sure
No need to say no more
I dont wanna hear no more
Your move was a loser and she wont forget
How you used her
Oh, I know shell refuse you
Youre a two-timing loser
And I wont move over
Verse 3
Verse 4
Say what you want and think what you like
You wont persuade me
My flame keeps on burning and I wont move over
My eyes dont see, my ears dont hear
All those stories
Going in circles

Our aim is to persuade. We adopt the means of non-violence because our end is a community at peace with itself. We will try to persuade with our words, but if our words fail, we will try to persuade with our acts. We will always be willing to talk and seek fair compromise, but we are ready to suffer when necessary and even risk our lives to become witnesses to the truth as we see it. … But if physical death is the price that a man must pay to free his children and his white brethren from a permanent death of the spirit, then nothing could be more redemptive. This is the type of soul force that I am convinced will triumph over the physical force of the oppressor.

Running on
Running on
But you, don't know what you're running from
Hiding on
But you, don't know what you're hiding from
It's amazing
You're acting so crazy
You're trying to persuade me
There's no escaping
Taking off in full drive
Afraid of the full ride
You're trying to persuade me
There's no escaping
Running on
But you, don't know what you're running from
Hiding on
But you, don't know what you're hiding from
On the move
Everyplace I try to talk to you
You don't know what to do
I really can't tell whats wrong with you
Every time you see my face
You act amazed
Stunned I'm still in this place
And haven't yet escaped
I don't know what what you're trying to do
I don't know if I should be running too
Away from who?
I need a clue
You won't give me answers
Just keep moving faster
From a huge disaster
That's trying to get after
you....and us others, too...
Running on
But you, don't know what you're running from
Hiding on
But you, don't know what you're hiding from
It's amazing
You're acting so crazy
You're trying to persuade me
There's no escaping
Taking off in full drive
Afraid of the full ride
You're trying to persuade me
There's no escaping
Running on
But you, don't know what you're running from
Hiding on
But you, don't know what you're hiding from
Keep running on
What are we running from?
When is our running done?
How long is this marathon?
Answers, why aren't telling me anything?
Pushing me
Saying 'There's no escaping'
So you keep..
Running on
But you, don't know what you're running from
Hiding on
But you, don't know what you're hiding from
It's amazing
You're acting so crazy
You're trying to persuade me
There's no escaping
Taking off in full drive
Afraid of the full ride
You're trying to persuade me
There's no escaping
Running on
But you, don't know what you're running from
Hiding on
But you, don't know what you're hiding from

Christmas Medley
What child is this / do you hear what I hear /
Joy to the world
What child is this who laid to rest
On marys lap is sleeping?
Whom angels greet with anthems sweet
While shepherds guard and angels sing
Haste, haste to bring him laud
The babe the son of mary
(do you) hear what I hear (6x)
Said the little lamb to the shepherd boy
Do you hear what I hear?
Ringing through the sky shepherd boy
Do you hear what I hear?
A song a song high above the trees
With a voice as big as the sea
With a voice as big as the sea
(do you) hear what I hear?
Joy to the world
(do you) hear what I hear?
Said the shepherd boy to the mighty king
So you know what I know?
In your palace warm mighty king
Do you know what I know?
The child the child sleeping in the night
He will bring us goodness and light
He will bring us goodness and light
(do you) hear what I hear?
Joy to the world
(do you) hear what I hear?
Joy to the world...
Joy to the world the lord is come
Let earth receive her king
Let every heart prepare him room
And heavn and nature sing
And heavn and nature sing
And heavn and heavn and nature sing
(do you) hear what I hear?
Joy to the world
(do you) hear what I hear?
Joy to the world
(do you) hear what I hear?
Joy to the world
(do you) hear what I hear?
Joy to the world
(somebody gotta tell ya)
Haste, haste to bring him laud
The babe the son of mary...

Confession
I summoned my courage
To help me manage
Whatever the reply is,
Coz' I don't want to cry about this
I asked you one question
But you gave me a suggestion
I don't know if it means yes or a no
But can you tell me already so I'll know
I allowed myself to be hopeful
Each day is so blissful
Every day I am very cheerful
I always think I am so fateful
But after a few days
I saw you with someone else
All the days that I spent being hopeful
Now my heart is so painful
Now I understand
Your suggestion was to protect me
How foolish of me to misunderstood.
Don't Want Nuthin' From U
I don't want nuthin' from U.
Advice or suggestion,
Or connection to the best.
I don't want nuthin' from U.
If you gave a stack of money,
I'd give right back!
I'm done.
I'm through with you.
You've lost my trust.
You make me sick to my guts.
I'm done.
I'm through with you.
Once you lie and cheat.
You wont with me repeat.
I don't want nuthin' from U.
Advice or suggestion,
Or connection to the best.
I don't want nuthin' from U.
If you gave a stack of money,
I'd give right back!
When you open your mouth,
BS comes out.
And I'm tired of that.
But to you that doesn't matter.
When you look at me,
I know you're lieing through your teeth.
And I'm tired of that.
But to you that doesn't matter.
I'm done.
I'm through with you.
Once you lie and cheat.
You wont with me repeat.
I don't want nuthin' from U.
Advice or suggestion,
Or connection to the best.
I don't want nuthin' from U.
Advice or suggestion,
Or connection to the best.
I'm done.
I'm through.
There's nothing new for us to do.
Good riddence.
Goodbye.
You lie!

Todays Child
A child grows with time, and time changes,
But does the child change?
Yes, he changes
But how does he change?
A child’s future depends on his people, his elders, his friends
The world today decides the future of the child
Look upon the child, see him, hear him, and understand him
Do not ignore the child and destroy him.

If you think aficionados of a living Constitution want to bring you flexibility, think again. You think the death penalty is a good idea? Persuade your fellow citizens to adopt it. You want a right to abortion? Persuade your fellow citizens and enact it. That's flexibility.

The Suggestion of Propaganda
When someones jealous and upset
because you can do something they can't,
What is the first thing they do.
Attack your character.
Try to defame by suggestion.
Suggestion is as propaganda is in war.
It is to take the hearts and mines of the people
And turn them against you.
Anyway to stop you from being able to see what it is your trying to do.
If your destroyed in public eye whether its your friends or the world.
Attempts a stopping from completion.
Listen to me the watchers of the doers.
I will not stop or be impeded of progress by the means or likes of you.
Say what you will, or better yet do your own.
Instead of this judgmental thrill.

Yesterdays Child
Roy orbison/bill dees
I see the face of yesterdays child,
Living in a state of in between.
Is there a place for yesterdays child,
Searching for an unforgotten dream?
Looking for rainbows at midnight,
Hoping tomorrow will come.
Will time erase for yesterdays child?
What will the child become?
I hear the voice of yesterdays child
Echoing my name, my name, my name.
Is there a choice for yesterdays child,
Seeking shelter from the falling rain?
Chasing a butterfly lover,
Making a run for the sun.
Who will rejoice for yesterdays child?
What is the game to be won?
Will you draw?
Will you fold?
Will you start playing wild?
What is the future for yesterdays child?
Will you turn to dust,
Or go to the sea, racing with destiny?
Oh,look at me,
Born to be yesterdays child.

Do You Hear What I Hear
Said the nightwind to the little lamb
Do you see what I see
Way up in the sky little lamb
Do you see what I see
A star, a star, dancing in the night
With a tail as big as a kite
With a tail as big as a kite
Said the little lamb to the shepherd boy
Do you hear what I hear
Ringing through the sky shepherd boy
Do you hear what I hear
A song, a song, high above the trees
With a voice as big as the sea
With a voice as big as the sea
Said the shepherd boy to the mighty king
Do you know what I know
In your palace oh mighty king
Do you know what I know
A child, a child, shivers in the cold
Let us bring him silver and gold
Let us bring him silver and gold
Said the king to the people everywhere
Listen to what I say
Pray for peace people everywhere
Listen to what I say
A child, a child, sleeping in the night
He will bring us goodness and light
He will bring us goodness and light
Do you hear what I hear
A child, a child, sleeping in the night
He will bring us goodness and light
He will bring us goodness and light
Listen
Do you hear what I hear
Do you hear what I hear

New World
A child on the shoulders of his father,
Watched the other kids with their bags to school,
Playing with their toys by the pool,
Shed tears and wished to be one of them,
The father went from man to man, street to street,
Signaling cars, gentility, with open hands,
Torn clothes, dirty face he stands,
Received nothing but ridiculing mass,
Who's responsible if his father is not rich?
The son, the father, we or democracy?
God, his angels, nature, or prophecy?
His eyes bleeding, his father's pleading,
Who will answer this little child's question?
Waiting am I for any suggestion.

Old Child
Child. Old child,
No longer wild;
No longer speaking,
No longer beguiled;
I have become
A quiet old child.
Child. Old child,
No longer cold;
Never an old man,
Always too old;
I have become
An old child tenfold.
Child. Old child,
Forever a child;
Always rethinking,
Always exiled.
I should become
A happy old child.
Child. Old child.
Always soft-spoken;
No longer breaking,
Still being broken;
I have become
An old child, unspoken.
Child. Old child,
No longer bold;
By thinking, rethinking
Of stories untold,
All through my childhood,
I've become... old.

I Would Do For You
The Mother looks into the eyes of her child,
With the love that is so deep and true
Then she hugs her child and loves her child,
And says, “ there is nothing that I would not do for you”.
She loves her child more than she does herself
She’ll places her child above all others
For the child she would die, And not even ask why,
As the child is hers, and she is the mother.
She knows she’ll will always be there for her child
No matter the pain or a reason why,
Just to see it smile or hear it laugh
It is the greatest joy that a mother wont hide.
She will follow her child throughout her life
That being the reason why she says she lives
The love is so great for a mother and her child,
That there is nothing that she would not do or give.
She thinks of her child constantly when she is alone
She knows no pain or discomfort when the child is near,
She is only here to make her child happy and wise
While hoping never to bring her child a tear.
I now look into the eyes of my wife,
The woman who I love with a love so deep and true,
As a mother loves her child, a man he loves his wife
And with her in mind I say, “ there is nothing that I wouldn't do for you”.

Child Woman, Woman Child
Orbison/dees
Coo coo, thats you, wonder why I love you, you do voodoo, thunder clouds above you
Crazy, kooky, lazy spooky, oh what a clown, always around
And I have found youre a woman. child woman. woman child
Long legged woman when I see you walking you look good
Hey little woman when I hear you talking you sound good
Child woman, woman child youre driving me wild child woman woman child
Youre into my mind then youre out of my mind child woman
You wind and unwind my mind, time after time child woman ooh child woman, yeah child woman
Flying uptight, dont know where youre going, trying your kite when the wind is blowing
Funny lady, sunny, shady off to the fair, sun in your hair
Oh, youre aware youre a woman child woman, woman child
Strong minded woman when you start groovin you look fine
My kind of woman when you start movin you look fine
Child woman, woman child youre driving me wild child woman woman child

If I were dead
'IF I were dead, you'd sometimes say, Poor Child!'
The dear lips quiver'd as they spake,
And the tears brake
From eyes which, not to grieve me, brightly smiled.
Poor Child, poor Child!
I seem to hear your laugh, your talk, your song.
It is not true that Love will do no wrong.
Poor Child!
And did you think, when you so cried and smiled,
How I, in lonely nights, should lie awake,
And of those words your full avengers make?
Poor Child, poor Child!
And now, unless it be
That sweet amends thrice told are come to thee,
O God, have Thou no mercy upon me!
Poor Child!
