Playing With Technology
What happens when a child plays with a razor?
What happens when a child plays with fire?
What happens when a child drives a car?
Man in his pursuit of technology is in the same pose
In his hand is a tool of technology, powerful and dangerous
But he’s acting like a child and doesn’t know its purpose.
Man’s still a child, no sense of purpose, no vision of the future
For a child the razor, the fire and the car are just for pleasure
It is obvious, for this same reason man pursues technology.
Man’s still a child, so selfish, self-centered and irresponsible
Doesn’t care about the world, his possessions is all that matters

Fire Fighting Days
The sun is blocked out by a heavy smoke haze
Twelve miles south of here a huge bushfire blaze
It's way through the brown paddocks and stands of trees
fanned on by a warm and a freshening breeze,
Where-ever there's smoke there is fire to be found
And smoke travels by air for miles and miles around
The C F A the Country fire fighters are busy today
The destructive fire front they fight to keep it at bay,
Such courageous people one can't help but them admire
They risk their own lives to save homes from the fire
They display their courage in the gap of fear
Great stories of their bravery we so often hear
Through dry scrublands and paddocks the huge fire front blaze
We are in the Season of fire fighting days.

Today 80 percent of all the oil that comes out of the Gulf is from 1,000 feet or more and today almost a third of it is more than 5,000 feet below the surface. What hasn't happened is the safety and the ability to respond to a negative event such as this blowout, has been far outrun by the technology of drilling itself. We need to close that gap.

some frogs come without the crash helmet
prince charming, with a charmed life,

Man still is just man
When man mastered
the horse and chariot,
and later build cars
to drive over the earth
it made him no god
over it
and still he lacked
the knowledge
of how to make
out of nothing and a void
sand, pebbles and rock.
When man felled a tree
and build a boat
to float on the river
and the sea
and later constructed ships
and submarines
and mastered the art of sailing
he still was just man
and storms, huge waves
and water could still kill him.

of flying by machines
and could travel in the sky,

and man was still bound
