A weed is no more than a flower in disguise, Which is seen through at once, if love give a man eyes.

The Weed
There was an old woman
that planted a garden.
And in the garden
there grew a weed.
The weed grew next to
a beautiful flower.
The flower had grown
from a tiny seed.
The weed was strong
and would not bend.
The wind did blow
and it did send
the seeds from the flower
into the air.
They circled around
and landed where
the weed was growing
next to the flower.
Soon the weed was
surrounded by flowers.
It loved where it was
and looked by the hours
at all of the beautiful
colorful flowers.
The old woman who planted
the garden one day
decided that she would
make a bouquet.
She went to the garden
to cut the flowers.
But when she got there
down came the showers.
The raindrops that fell
made the weed shine
which made the old woman
change her mind.
She left them alone
in her garden and knew
that the weed belonged
with the flowers that grew.
She'd planted the flowers.
God planted the weed.
The garden was perfect.
No bouquet did she need.

Planted A Flower
I planted me a flower
Though my friends say a weed
In my garden from a forgotten seed.
So I planted it deep
And around it I hoed
So someday my flower would grow.
But my flower never came
From the sunshine or the rain
That GOD placed above its head.
And so my friends would just laugh
Every time that they would pass
My garden, my plant and I.
Gardeners were them all
As though they have been called
To bring beauty upon our sight.
And a gardener wasn't I
Just a poet in disguise
And for that reason I sat and cried.
More care to my plant I gave
And more affection to it I showed.
While praying one day my flower would grow.
And my friends would just laugh at me
When they saw me on my knees
And to my flower when they heard me speak.
To ignorance they did blame
Its a weed they would exclaim
Then they would walk away.
For a madman I must be
Trying to create a flower out of a weed
Then I would bow my head to weep.
And every night that I went to bed
I dreamt of a rainbow in my head
Which was my flower I planted with my own hands.
And every morning when I awoke
I ran to my garden, but I was torn
For my flower was still unborn.
And I could hear my friends laugh at me
Hidden behind an old oak tree
And I could see them shake their heads and walk away.
But then came one magic morning
When in my head my dreams were forming
While in my garden, my dream, had awoke.
I awoke, to gasps and jeers
I arose, to shouts and cheers
Then in my garden, I walked in bitterness and fear.
Then I saw a rainbow with a halo
I saw my friends with a child's glow
And then I heard the wind, as she softly spoke to me.
You had faith in a weed,
A weed, had faith in you.
And nature, had faith in you two.

Little Flower
Little flower, little flower, growing like a weed,
I want to pick you, but then I don't I think I'll just let you be.
Your colors so pretty starling at me, a yellow orange is what I see.
If I were you and you were me, I know you would just let me be.
So, little flower grow like a weed, for I won't pick you I'll just let you be.

Devil In Disguise
(gram parsons/chris hillman)
Shes a devil in disguise -- you can see it in her eyes
Shes tellin dirty lies -- shes a devil in disguise -- in disguise
Now a woman like that, all she does is hate you
She doesnt know what makes a man a man
Shell talk about the time that shes been with you
Shell speak your name to everyone she can
Shes a devil in disguise -- you can see it in her eyes
Shes tellin dirty lies -- shes a devil in disguise -- in disguise
Unhappiness has been her close companion
Her world is full of jealousy and doubt
It gets her off to see a person crying
Shes just the kind that you can do without
Shes a devil in disguise -- you can see it in her eyes
Shes tellin dirty lies -- shes a devil in disguise -- in disguise
Her number always turns up in your pocket
Whenever you are looking for a dime
Its alright to call her but Ill bet you
The moon is full and youre just wasting time
Shes a devil in disguise -- you can see it in her eyes
Shes tellin dirty lies -- shes a devil in disguise -- in disguise
In disguise [in disguise] in disguise [in disguise]

To an optimist every weed is a flower; to a pessimist every flower is a weed.
The Butterfly Weed
Oh lady bug, you've done a good deed.
Setting your table on the butterfly weed,
You're the custodian of all you survey,
On butterfly weed, till the end of the day.
Oh beautiful monarch, where do you feed,
I see you too love the butterfly weed.
You and the ladybug would be poor indeed,
If it was'nt for the butterfly weed.
Oh hummingbird whose throat seems to bleed,
What do you here on the butterfly weed?
All hummingbirds, good advice heed,
We love the orange butterfly weed.
God's smallest creatures, go by one creed,
To congregate on the butterfly weed.
Let the south wind blow, and spread your seed,
So that there will be millions of the butterfly weed.

Love In Disguise
Verse 1:
I dont know why we had to go
Our love ended with the change of the weather
I know a way to survive
But it would be much better if you were here
cause we never fell out of love
Chorus:
Theres not a trace of happiness
Why do you think its all right
When love is in your eyes?
We still live for each other
But still we keep pretending
That theres no love in disguise, in disguise
Verse 2:
Were playing games like we did before
Now were feeling the sorrow
But some things just never change
So come on...take me back into your arms
If I remember - you left them open for me
Chorus
Bridge:
After all it took to get together
You would think (you would think)
It would last (it would last)
Forever (forever)
Chorus
Theres not a trace of happiness
Why do you think its all right?
I see love is in your eyes
We still live for each other
But still we keep pretending
That theres no love
Theres no, theres no
Love in disguise
Theres not a trace, theres not a trace
Why do you think its so wrong
When love is in your eyes?
We still live for each other
But still we keep pretending
That theres no, no love
In disguise, in disguise

Flower - Flower Love
flower - flower love
flower - flower love
I come with flower and love
into your life that's full of hope
flower - flower love
I bring you flower and love
as a truth of my heart that never drop
I am a butterfly for you
with blackish orange in colours on me
I will never fly away from you
and never stop watching over you
for
flower - flower love
you are my flower
and you are my love

Sad Flower
I was walking through a flower garden
and this beautiful flower laid over looking so sad.
It drew me closer i just had to know why?
As bent over and put the flower in my hand
my eyes got rushed with this intense light!
Then i could see with pure delight
what made the flower so sad.
A lady name rush was there before me
and held the flower in her hand
and give a kiss and told the flower i love
you.
Then she was gone
with a mighty rush of wind
for the beautiful flower has been dethrone

Little Lies
If I could turn the page
In time then Id rearrange just a day or two
Close my, close my, close my eyes
But I couldnt find a way
So Ill settle for one day to believe in you
Tell me, tell me, tell me lies
Tell me lies
Tell me sweet little lies
(tell me lies, tell me, tell me lies)
Oh, no, no you cant disguise
(you cant disguise, no you cant disguise)
Tell me lies
Tell me sweet little lies
Although Im not making plans
I hope that you understand theres a reason why
Close your, close your, close your eyes
No more broken hearts
Were better off apart lets give it a try
Tell me, tell me, tell me lies
Tell me lies
Tell me sweet little lies
(tell me lies, tell me, tell me lies)
Oh, no, no you cant disguise
(you cant disguise, no you cant disguise)
Tell me lies
Tell me sweet little lies
If I could turn the page
In time then Id rearrange just a day or two
Close my, close my, close my eyes
But I couldnt find a way
So Ill settle for one day to believe in you
Tell me, tell me, tell me lies
Tell me lies
Tell me sweet little lies
(tell me lies, tell me, tell me lies)
Oh, no, no you cant disguise
(you cant disguise, no you cant disguise)
Tell me lies
Tell me sweet little lies
(tell me lies, tell me, tell me lies)
Oh, no, no you cant disguise

Tell me sweet little lies
(tell me, tell me lies)

Love In Disguise
Sometimes things fall apart
That's god's love in disguise
And when i break your heart
That's my love in disguise
When you awake in pain
It should come as no surprise
I'm not sure i care
But it still must be there
My love in disguise
And all you want are sweet lies
I see my problem now
Her love was in disguise
Some fear that won't allow
Her love to shed this guise
Ian, don't be a fool
Look what she's done
She'll do it again
Pale, pure, and virgin things
So frail, it turns from my eyes
It hides while i become
So hurt my heart is numb
When love is in disguise
The best you have is sweet lies
Ian she'll be our downfall
Don't believe your eyes
Lies! and she'll leave you all alone
Possessiveness and jealousy
We recognize easily
That which we claim to prize
No one can recognize
The poor young sap is unaware of
Things that we are all aware of
The knife she hides behind her back
Misery! he gets his share of
The flowers must pollinate
The beasts are forced to mate
Woman and man decide
Yet we're not satisfied
God's love is in disguise
And all we want are sweet lies
Sweet lies
Long live the glorious revolution

I'll Give You A Flower, Mother
I’ll give you a flower, mother
I’ll give you a flower, dear
For life is but a garden
To children of 5 years
I’ll give you a flower, mother
I’ll give you a flower, dear
For to a bride, they’re lovely
Mother, hold your tears
I’ll give you a flower, mother
I’ll give you a flower, dear
I’ll lay it in your sweet hands
For our time has disappeared
I’ll give you a flower, mother
I’ll give you a flower, dear
When I see you there at heaven
When my time’s done here

Nature
Nature is beautiful
nature is fun
love it or hate it
nature is something to love
nature is god's gift to us
Nature
Nature we love
wate and feed nature
Nature water's and feed's us
god gave us nature
we cant live with out it
nature makes us
i know nature
Nature is beautiful
Nature is about the earth
nature has flower; s and weed's

I Need A Disguise
Theres a mask on the wall
That I should be wearing
To keep you from seeing
How Im really feeling
Id like to be cool
And tell you goodbye
Ive been such a fool
And now its written all over my face
That Im about to cry
I need a disguise
To hide my love
I need a disguise
Youve seen too much
I fall apart when you touch me
With your eyes
I need a disguise
Oooh baby
I need to get wise
Oooh baby
I know just where youre going
And I know who youll be seeing
If I swallow all my pride
Therell be nothing left of me
Im so confused
It cant be denied (I think you better run now)
Either way I lose
And its written all over my face
How I hurt inside
I need a disguise
To hide my love
I need a disguise
Youve seen too much
I fall apart when you touch me
With your eyes
I need a disguise
Oooh baby
I need to get wise
Oooh baby

Love In Disguise
In candle flame
That burns in my soul
I am warmed
In the beauty of your eyes.
I see you dancing
Across open skies
And know
It's only love in disguise.
When full moon
Lights frosted field.
And stolen embrace
Is revealed.
When kiss lingers
On my lips
Your taste of wine.
Beauty taken in sips
Is so divine.
But I've been here
Once before
So dry your eyes.
Think about that closing door.
Your heart is a fool
Your head is wise.
It's really only
Love in disguise.
You cried when we made love.
But I cry to the stars above.
For something precious that always dies.
Put it down
To love in disguise.

Love Needs No Disguise
She dances
He watches
She sighs
Remember
Love needs no disguise
In motion
That cannot deny
Shes saying
Love needs no disguise
And if the park gates are closed
Remember we toured the skys
And if the friends all go home
You know love needs no disguise
He dances
And we realised
Remember
Love needs no disguise
In simple embraces
They lie
In darkness
Love needs no disguise
And we can lock all the doors
Forget the reasons and fame
Theres no deceiving inside
You know well all be the same

Blessing In Disguise
Are you lonely?
Are you Crying?
Are those teardrops in your eyes
is it more blues, is is bad news,
is it a curse?, or a blessing in disguise.
Did you leave him?, do you love him?
Have you said your, said your last goodbyes
Is it over, hey
are you sorry?
Could it be a blessing in disguise
It's the scars that make you stronger
It's the hard times that make you rise,
It's the sweet things that only time bring, yeah
Gonna ride back a blessing in disguise
Ooooooooohhhhh!
Clouds roll by, and bring the rain
tears wiped dry to ease the pain
oh!
Are you lonely?
Are you Crying?
Are those teardrops in your eyes
is it more blues, is is bad news,
is it a curse?, or a blessing in disguise.
Is it a curse or a blessing in disguise
Is it a curse or a blessing in disguise
Is it a curse or a blessing in disguise

Night, Nights Sleepless
Night, nights sleepless eyes wide
sleep comes as disguise
Thou you asked love to
lend some happiness
fate has gifted you
sadness for life
Night, nights sleepless eyes wide
sleep comes as disguise
all boats are gone
and flooded away
your loved ones pierced
you with dagger of lies
Night, nights sleepless eyes wide
sleep comes as disguise
now why are you smiling
whilst bleeding tears
your sun is set
before even rise
Night, nights sleepless eyes wide
sleep comes as disguise
there was just a hope
on a peck of straw
alas! it is also burnt
now ashes doth lies
Night, nights sleepless eyes wide
sleep comes as disguise

Give It Up
You cant hide it from me
Admit it baby
cause Im wise to your disguise
Ive seen you love me with your eyes
Even if you think Im a fool and I just cant tell
Then you dont know me well
Wont you come over here and break the ice
It would be so nice
Its what you want when youre around me
Youre a little bit shy, and I feel the need
And I can tell that youre happy you found me
Just give it up...
Chorus:
Why wait around when you know what youre feeling (give it up)
I look through your eyes
I can see that you want somebody (give it up)
It could feel so good to get into it.
Give it up! give it up! you want it baby.
Give it up! give it up! you know you got me.
Come on, come on, come on and give it up.
I cant, I cant lie to you
Now we can all tell stories so come over here and love me. uh-huh
Even if you think Im a fool and I just cant tell
Sorry I know you well.
And I know you will
Come over here and love me
Its what you want when youre around me
Youre a little bit shy, and I feel the need
And I can tell that youre happy you found me
Just give it up...
(chorus)
So dream your way into my life
cause baby Ill give you tonight
Ill bring all your pictures to life
Give it up! give it up! give it up! give it up!
Give it up... (ooh God) give it up... just give it up...give it up
Give it up! give it up (yeah!)
Give it up! give it up!
Cmon, cmon, cmon, cmon, give it up
Give it up! wont you give it up baby tonight?

Flower of Love
The perfume of your body dulls my sense.
I want nor wine nor weed; your breath alone
Suffices. In this moment rare and tense
I worship at your breast. The flower is blown,
The saffron petals tempt my amorous mouth,
The yellow heart is radiant now with dew
Soft-scented, redolent of my loved South;
O flower of love! I give myself to you.
Uncovered on your couch of figured green,
Here let us linger indivisible.
The portals of your sanctuary unseen
Receive my offering, yielding unto me.
Oh, with our love the night is warm and deep!
The air is sweet, my flower, and sweet the flute
Whose music lulls our burning brain to sleep,
While we lie loving, passionate and mute.
