All of us have moments in out lives that test our courage. Taking children into a house with a white carpet is one of them.

The scare crow
was always scaring me
near the big
tamarind tree
never thought I would
encounter it
at the graduation
I had failed to qualify
and my intellectual abilities
had defeated me
and calling a spade
a spade
can be misleading
when it is actually
a magic carpet.
The scare crow
is a test of
others' courage
where as a Jatayu
is courage himself.

Coffee Courage
The bitter coffee kicked;
I shook and then I licked
My lips and gave a sigh.
Shattered eyes encouraged,
I nearly had envisaged
Waking up an eye.
Another sip; a jolt –
Not unlike a bolt
Of wattage from the mains.
My sockets under strain,
I tried it once again:
Aha! The light, the searing white –
My God, the bloody pain!

Traffic Jam: The Trap Of Traffic Light
It's not only test your luck, but also test your patience
It's not only test your guts, but also test your instinct
It's not only test your sanity, but also test your obedience to law
It's not only test your ethics, but also test your fidelity
It's not only test your sight, but also test your reflex
It's not only test your estimation of time, but also test your street knowledge
It's not only test your ego, but also test your kindness
It's not only test your control, but also test your awareness
It's not only test your attitude, but also test your responsibility
It's not only test your priority, but also test your humanity

Delusions...
the rebel rat looks upon
from the hole in the ceiling
the cat taking its nap
on the white pillow and the
dog fast asleep on
the maple
carpet
on the roof is the rain
pouring heavily delusional
on cats and dogs and
rats alike....
the carpet and the pillow
passive, never in rage....

In These Moments Of Revelation
IN THESE MOMENTS OF REVELATION
In these moments of revelation
We are where we are meant to be.
It may be the Music of a voice
Or it may be some manifestation of great Light in words
A Poem-
It may be in a deed of Courage-
It is when we see in the world
And in humanity
A Greatness that justifies and sanctifies Everything.
We thank God who Gives us Moments of Life
Where the Beauty of Being
Lives in us
And makes us know too
We are at home
In Your soul.

What Gives You Courage
Without fear there cannot be courage
Fear drives the unthinkable out of us
What gives you courage when there is none?
What gives you courage to get out of bed?
What gives you courage to drive when you know it's dangerous?
What gives you courage to succeed?
What gives you courage to survive?
What gives you courage to strive?
People have courage to live for their children
People have courage to live for themselves
People have courage to live for hope
People have courage because they believe
People have courage to not give up
Fear is not the essence of life
But a free soul not tamed
Courage is the journey of your heart
Guided by strength
On a path of untamed obstacles
Let courage guide you
As you begin your quest

Magic Moments
Magic moments happen in our lives
when we are kissed by an angel
under the moonlight.
A magic moment we cling on to,
just one of the many magic moments
our lives pass through.
The sweet scent of flowers that surround us
in the summer while love lingers in the air,
more magic moments there.
Magic moments that fill our lives with joy,
moments that rekindle love’s dying flame
making it burn strong again.

The Unlikely Hero
Where he lives none does help you when you are down
The one out of work in the poor side of town
A young man in his early twenties with life struggling to cope
Though of finding employment he is not without hope.
Disadvantaged by the suburb he lives in and his postal address
Such things potential employers do fail to impress
But of searching for a job start he never does cease to try
Of courage in adversity none of him can deny.
One cannot say of him he does not do his best
And he showed his true courage when put to the test
He saved a baby girl's life in a house fire
In the unlikely hero so much to admire.
To save a grateful parents child life he put his own life on the line
Yet an offer of an award for bravery he did decline
Of saving a young life he did not make a big thing
And his praises he does not wish others to sing.
In the factory he worked in his job he enjoyed
'Til when the company went into receivership he became unemployed
But to the victim mentality he is not inclined
And he will keep searching 'til a job he will find.

One By One
Bobby lakind/michael mcdonald
Where and why Im destined to go
Right here and now thats all I know
On either side future or past
Neither is real both fade so fast
So one by one were given these moments to live just as one by one theyre taken away
So one by one Im taking each day in my stride
And one by one the memories stay
Good times are still there to find
When times are their worst
Keep your eyes open wide
cause through it all are moments that shine
And moments that glow
Im gonna be there for mine
So one by one were given these moments to live just as one by one theyre taken away
So one by one Im taking each day in my stride
And one by one the memories stay
Even when youre close to a dream
It can still let you down
Youll always have a chance to give up
So why do it now
So one by one were given these moments to live just as one by one theyre taken away
So one by one Im taking each day in my stride
And one by one the memories stay

Tenderest Moments
(a. bell / v. clarke)
We go down
To a foreign land.
Dive through the clouds,
You hold the guided lad in your hands
This must be all that there is.
Times dont come much more beautiful.
You can show me places that my eyes would never see,
Im following you. where are you taking me to?
You could be my angel who just walks out of a dream.
Im following you. where are you taking me to?
I have all faith in you,
And these tenderest moments. (these tenderest moments)
We circle low,
Embrace the night that she drows us in.
A holy shroud awited high on
Tenderest moments.

A Season’s Carpet
I sat on a bench,
and watched the autumn leave fall.
A gentle breeze would shake them loose,
until they drifted to the ground.
Soon there is a carpet of leaves,
red, yellow and brown,
dancing with the wind
inches above the ground.
Another season ending,
as the autumn leave come drift down.
Winter would soon be here,
with another carpet grand.
This one would be a carpet white with snow,
and would stretch right across the land.
Another carpet for another season
would soon be close at hand.

Nothing Owned, Nothing Lost
i dont feel the need
to ever own again.
houses, cars, credit cards
mean nothing to me!
we ate well tonite,
the house is quiet
and the man in the mirror
is fading day by day.
we never own each other,
never even own our children.
all that is will pass
into memory.
and that is enough.
all that will remain
is the kind word,
the soft touch,
the moments spent listening,
the hand-up given without thinking...
and the pictures painted
and left behind... without taking,
without grasping, without naming!

At The Second Floor
at the second floor of the old house
he goes up
taking the creaking stairs
as though telling him some old stories
about the falling of the
clan house to ashes for years
no one dared say
about the fall of this family
there are whispers
not louder as a thud of a cat's foot
limping on the carpet
up there is the open space overlooking the blue sea
a white sail and some foams of the sea caps
catch his attention but he can not withstand such a distant view
his eyes are hurt by too much light and tiny object
he looks at the nearby tree
old mahogany spreading its branches touching the roof
there is this single leaf that falls
a hush of the wind
twirling to the shaded space
it lands on the pebbles
nothing is heard but he has seen it all
the fall.

The Moments of My Life
My life,
I now feel,
is fully covered
by white fog,
the dark white fog
of the sad moments
I faced in my life;
the moments
We spent together.
Now I feel
all pages of
my life
have become white
and the
ink used by The Writer
of my life
also became white.
I think,
here after,
no one
can read
the The Moments of My Life.
Written by Him with white ink
on the white pages.

The Land That Time Forgot
Where the dinosaurs lie sleeping,
In the land that time forgot,
Save by the loyal crofters,
Whose lives abide atop,
Those magnificent white mountains,
Whose mood can turn so fast.
To know them is to love them
With their awesome graceful past.
Imperious, they'll forever stand,
Amidst the secret glens.
Withstanding ever, test of time.
Towering over brooks and benns.
If you enter through the gates of time,
Expect them to enfold,
You, with an Energy unique and pure
Where time is liquid gold.
Moments they spell hours,
And days turn into years.
The mighty mountains tall and true
Will wipe away all tears.
If you have the courage,
And you know this life's for you,
The hills and glens and bothies,
Will be ever always true.
To those who see God's mistress,
Will she always hold you tight.
So take a breath and make the step,
From darkness into light.

Shameful
Like an alligator tending her eggs
on tongue, death moves the life
on strength of charisma, overreaches
for requiem and then distributes the raw
moments in subterfuge, we play the game
to cheat each other without shame.
A red carpet is laid on white floor
of the wax house, making gold from
sun rays. The moon bleeds internally.
The rivals come face to face walking
on the ashes of ancestors, ungrieving for the
loss of sperms. Fertility will come in petri dishes
without the name of father. I am here,
nobody, ready to unanswer any question.
My stains are becoming darker every day.
