No matter how difficult and painful it may be, nothing sounds as good to the soul as the truth.

As a child I was taught that to tell the truth was often painful. As an adult I have learned that not to tell the truth is more painful, and that the fear of telling the truth — whatever the truth may be — that fear is the most painful sensation of a moral life.

The Truth
Nothing but the truth
I stand by the truth
The truth is my portion
And my salvation
So do not believe in illusion
Face reality and act positively
For how you feel
Is different from what is going on
Blaspheming and evil
Is the act of ignorant of the truth
But surely there is a reward
For goodness and evil
No matter the circumstances
The truth will prevail
Although the truthful path
Is difficult to tread
But take heed and lead
For the truth is the light
That guides our way
They reflect on what we say
So they say
We are the truth

No Matter What It Does
It is there.
Staring.
Rejected and glaring.
Still...
No matter what it does,
Truth is difficult to accept.
And people would rather have it go away.
But to where?
It is there.
Staring.
Rejected and glaring.
Still...
No matter what it does,
Truth is difficult to accept.
And people would rather have it go away.
But to where?
It is there.
Staring.
Rejected and glaring.
Still...
And will.
No matter what it does,
Truth is difficult to accept.

It Doesnt Really Matter
It doesnt really matter that I loved you
How many reasons call
It doesnt really matter at all
It doesnt matter that I failed to
Break down your fathers wall
It doesnt matter at all
Why tell me you dont understand when you do
I thought I had something to say
But it really doesnt matter at all...
I changed my name
To be rid of the things that I want from you
Its strange
But a name is a name and the truth is the truth
Oh, there is always
Always someone to remind me
So I learn to live with shame
Tell myself I feel no pain
But I do
And if I have to tell you
Then it really doesnt matter at all...
And its no good looking back
Because times a thief and I believe that
Im too old for that
Were just saying the things that weve said
Forever
It doesnt really matter that I loved you
How many seasons fall
Its too bad
It really doesnt matter at all

Who I Am
(Tom Hemby/Amy Grant)
Might scare me to death
Or chill my bones
Break my heart
Or warm my soul
But since I'm here and before I go
I'm gonna find out who I am
Late one cold Thanksgiving night
They welcomed me, another 60's child
To a family that's holding tight
That's part of who I am, yeah
I got a mama who prays for me
She fights the devil down on her knees
I can't see all that mama sees
But it's part of who I am
She gave me truth and she watched me grow
I told her lines and I test the rope
Then I tried a little bit of everything I know
Just to find out who I am
Who I am
Does it matter anyway
Who I am
What I've seen along the way
Who I am
Changes a little everyday
With a lot of truth
And an open heart
I just want half a chance
As long as I'm here and before I go
Just to find out who I am
Music is my soul's delight
Comes to me both day and night
It gives me wings and it gives me flight
And it's part of who I am
I hold onto a simple faith
About the choices and the path I take
That through the good and the bad mistakes
I'm gonna find out, yeah
Who I am
Does it matter anyway
Who I am
What I've lost along the way
Who I am
It changes a little everyday
With a lot of truth
And an open heart
I just want half a chance
As long as I'm here and before I go
Just to find out
Did it ever really matter
In that big forever plan
Who I am and what I'm here for I don't know
Is it wrong to want an answer
Try to understand
Who I am
Does it matter anyway
Who I am
What I've learned along the way
Who I am
It changes a little everyday
With a lot of truth
And an open heart
I just want half a chance
As long as I'm here and before I go
Just to find out
Who I am
Who I am

No Matter How Handsome and Tall
No matter how Handsome and Tall -
No matter how more Beautiful than all-
No matter how Great-
No matter how Courageous and Strong -
No matter how Loving and Kind-
No matter how Good as Good can be-
No matter how much of All and Everything,
In every way and form
No matter who one is
And what one is
And how much they give
And how life is made better or more beautiful by them-
No matter how Big or how Small
Each one of us
In the end,
In one real sense,
Nothing at all.

Faking a Smile
Whenever u see me
a smile resides on my face
i look happy, merry and alive
i look as if everything is good in my life
well just want to tell you the truth today
its not as it seems
the real picture is not good enough
behind that smile is hidden
one hell amount of other emotions
regret, dissappointment, regret and much
but still i smile..
or may be just fake a smile
so that u dont suffer my pain
earlier it was difficult to hide the truth behind the smile
but now it has become a habit of mine
i dont know when the smile would be real
may b tomorrow or day after
or may b never
but let me teel one more thing now
its not very difficult to fake a smile somehow...........

New Times Square
I'll see you round about midnight
You know I won't be late
Let's dive into this crap house
And truth hell have to wait
The truth of what has gone before
Lies bleeding on the floor
The only truth remaining still
Is that truth don't matter anymore
So meet me round about midnight
I won't let you down I swear
We'll hang on to each other
Down at the new Times Square
It seems that we can't run from this
No matter how we try
There's nothing here worth keeping
So let's kiss it all goodbye
Tell me what's worth keeping anyway
It doesn't seem to matter
What we do or what we say
Everything we had
They have now taken it all away
The truth don't matter anymore

Chocolate is Good for the Heart
Chocolate will never judge you.
Chocolate goes great with any occasion.
It is always there for you no matter the situation.
It is something you can count on to help solve your difficult problems.
Chocolate can help mend a broken heart.
Chocolate is good for the mind, body, and soul.

Painful Solitude
Painful rejection
Your silence speaks volumes
Solitary dove flies alone,
Looking for a place to belong,
She is lost, heart full of pain
Will she ever be able to sing again?
Painful illness
My body agony
My mind endures
Painful isolation
Painful solitude
Painful loneliness

In Loving Truth
you hold the truth
and show it to me as early as i was six,
you had it molded like a sculpture of
a well shaped egg,
a chicken egg, showing the fragility of a shell,
that when i fail to hold it with care
it breaks and cannot be
the same again, no matter what
or how,
the truth is a model
something that we have to imitate
but my palms have lines of each own
and i was born as a scorpion
with scissors in my hands
you want me to be your truth
and it will be painful and so i must go
somewhere where my kind of
truth will be respectable
there is no place yet for me
and so here i am with you
exploring all the possibilities of harmony
and so i must lie to live with you
and be with you for the meantime that my
castle is not yet a reality
must i tell you the truth? i can't
for this spells the death of harmony
even the view of your funeral
where i can be the pretentious grief
the laughter subsumed
on the face shedding
crocodile tears
i have more to tell you
but i am safe now in my silence
safe with you and the world and the stars.

A Life of Mystery!
Human life is a great mystery yet to be unravelled!
As long as soul is there in the body man survives;
How the soul has come and where the soul goes
Nobody knows yet making it difficult to believe it!
Independent survival depends on the work one does;
Work makes one survive standing on one’s own legs.
Many rely on money but work only provides money;
The good work one does brings support from all ever.
As long as body is healthy and strong soul remains
Recharged by energy from food and good rest ever.
Stabilising body health and knowing the truth of all
Exploration of spirit in all beings of Nature clears doubts.
Spiritual exploration is a mystical experience of mind
That only brings peace, joy, love and glow to humans!

Doubts (About Myself)
No matter what people say?
I am good at what I do
I still have my doubts
Of whom they say I am
It drives me so crazy
To hear the positive
And the good
I keep asking myself
Am I really that good?
Am I worthy to be here?
Am I really any good?
I know it sounds so silly
Thinking negative
In what I do
But when I read others
Poetry and stanzas
I know this to be true
Their poetry so damn good
Am I worthy to be here?
Am I any good?

No Good Way Of Saying Good-bye
The truth is too painful
This moment too real
Saying good-bye
But loving you still
Too late to start over
Weve tried that before
And I just dont have it in me
To try anymore
Chorus:
But I know Ill miss you
And I know Ill cry
I know you loved me
And I know youve tried
Its the hardest thing
Ill ever do in my life
But I know no good way
Of saying good-bye
2nd chorus:
I know Ill miss you
And I know Ill cry
I know you loved me
And I know Ill ask why
I know Ill have moments
When Ill want to die
But I know no good way
Of saying good-bye
Tag:
And the longest night
Ill ever spend will be tonight
cause I know no good way of saying

Knowing What Truth Is
I believe in a truth that has been honestly spoken.
And with the undertaking of my own research,
My mind is not subject to change from the facts.
No matter how painful.
Or who deceives with dishonest attacks.
What others accept,
Every time someone they follow reverses their steps...
With a breath that exchanges as the wind drifts,
I simply can not accept them knowing what truth is at all.
Especially those who will save their lieing butts from being exposed.

Direct When One Speaks
When one has been delivered,
To an unmistaken clarity.
It becomes difficult to listen,
To a butchered truth done.
Or be around anyone,
Uncomfortable with self.
And masking insecurities with pretense,
Believed no one either feels or sees.
However...
When one has been delivered,
To an unmistaken clarity.
It is difficult to keep from being,
Direct when one speaks.
As others defy any attempts to listen at all.
And...
No matter what is spoken with focus...
A flapping tongue done just likes the sensation of it.

Truth Is..
Truth is..
Thunder in the night,
a firefly in flight.
Truth is..
In its purest form rare,
very seldom do they spare.
Truth is..
The light at end of tunnel
Shattering or very subtle
Truth is...
Clear as cloudless sky,
blue as ocean far and wide.
Truth is..
The calm before the storm,
not in any different form.
Truth is..
Opening our eyes,
is 99% surprise.
Truth is...
painful, devastating,
or uplifting levitating.
Truth is..
what we want to hear,
and most times is what we fear..
Dont understand they say the truth
is what will set you free,
but how will I escape
if they keep lying to me?

What's so difficult...
What's so difficult,
About the word,
No.
What's so difficult,
About our,
Relationship.
What's so difficult,
About,
Us.
What's so difficult,
About the words,
Stay away.
What's so difficult,
About,
Don't talk to me.
What's so difficult...
