When Youre Near Me I Have Difficulty
When youre near me I have difficulty respirating
When youre near me I have difficulty concentrating
When youre near me I have difficulty standing upright
When youre near me I have difficulty sleeping at night
I used to stand proud like a sphinx
In a noble immovable state
Then your heart nailed me under a jinx
Now Im feeling like a jellyfish
Just a spineless wobbly jellyfish
And its great, great, so great
I used to stand high like a pine
Just a piece of emotionless wood
When you put your body near mine
Now Im feeling like a jellyfish
And its good, good, so good
I used to be an iceman
Living in iceman town
So Im warning all you cool cool icemen
Youd better be prepared to be melted right down
Down
When youre near me I have difficulty

Difficulty Of Reality
And
Difficulty is labour-pain
Out of the lustful stains
To deliver a babe
Difficult even more
The difficulty of the babe
Surrendered or abandoned
And
Much more difficult
The difficulty of the fosterer
Be a true revealer to the babe
Difficult the most
Living an untrue life
With untrue peace
The fostered babe

Well Actions
Worship accordingly, well are the actions
And the deeds concern us having an ordeal.
In our banks of thoughts we have an ordeal
For the money to grow on the heavenly branches.
The worship is like a gun offering dispositions,
Outings collide with other people’s outings
And the interiors of their homes keep life.
Will we consider the options laid before us?
Then please accept me as prayer has been offered
To collide with, without my help there is nothing.

But the gravest difficulty, and perhaps the most important, in poetry meant solely for recitation, is the difficulty of achieving verbal beauty, or rather of making verbal beauty tell.

Deep down, no one really believes they have a right to live. But this death sentence generally stays tucked away, hidden beneath the difficulty of living. If that difficulty is removed from time to time, death is suddenly there, unintelligibly.

Man’s Work
The work of a man is human and the ability
To forsake his concerns outside, to collect love
Of his own being and concentrate on humility.
Brave requests are being made, been accomplished
By those in difficulty.
This difficulty is too much for one of us,
Some of us will resign for the good,
Some of us will reign supreme,
Just let yourself be the next event in the work.
The humans will work their way for the better,
No wrecks are found hopefully.

Stop
Gone too far
Gone too long
Messed it up completely
Till everything is wrong
Stop, start over, start again
Too many pieces
Too much to chew
How can you ever win
When youre so scared to loose
You better stop, start over, start again
Stop, start over, start again
Walk away
See what it looks like from here
If you stay you will only drown
If a mass of fear
You need to sleep
You need a break
You got to find out before its to late
Stop, start again
You better stop, start over, start again

A 'Trip' To Babble On
Why is it,
That those who are most likely to become offended...
By someone else's interpretation of God,
And the way they depict their reciting of quoted scriptures...
Seem to be those who are hypocrities.
Who are quick to say what they know.
To even take a 'trip' to babble on,
In 'tongues' as if to impress.
And yet,
The evidence they show to be exposed...
Is meager in the delivery of its existence.
But they will tell anyone within listening distance,
What it is from others God wishes.
And they live lives completely exempt from this.
But will quote in a minute,
Something they have read but not digested.
To then say...
'I too have difficulty maintaining my faith.'
~That's odd.
I have no clue as to what you've said.
And yet,
I find no difficulty maintaining my faith at all.~

Start to Love
Gotta start to love
Gotta start to love
In the beginning you were all about me....
Now it seems you have no time for me....
You gotta start to love, You gotta start to love
Start to love, Start to love, Start to love
You seem so far away................... So far away
I wanted you to stay....
Like the water, by the sand.............
I need you to hold my hand...........
Dreaming of another land............. Dont leave my side........
You gotta start to love, You gotta start the love
You gotta start to love, You gotta start to love
Start to love, Start to love, Start to love
You seem so far away................... So far away
I wanted you to stay....
Wonder if you will ever come back to me?
Where did the love go? I want it like it used to be............
You gotta start the love, You gotta start to love
Start to love, Start to love, Start to love
You seem so far away................... So far away
I wanted you to stay....

Start Me Up
Now I don't need nobody's persuasion
To get this party off of the ground
So get the music jumpin' we'll all get down
Start me up !!
We'll take if off like we're in our bedroom
We'll turn it on like never before
And we'll sweat this joint just to make a point
Start me up !!
And we'll take no survivors
Hit the roof can't get much higher now
It's your turn... Start me up !!
I'll give ya all my riches
Are you ready for booty and kisses now
Here we go... Start me up !!
Chorus
Start me up !! Start me up !!
And if it takes all night - we can do it right
Start me up !!
Now I'm a girl that's on a mission
And I won't quit till I'm satisfied
So get your bod' in gear 'cause we got no fear
Start me up !!
'Cause dreams won't last forever
(But) as long as we just stay together.
You can always... Start me up !!
Chorus

New Beginning
The whole worlds broke and it aint worth fixing
Its time to start all over, make a new beginning
Theres too much pain, too much suffering
Lets resolve to start all over make a new beginning
Now dont get me wrong - I love life and living
But when you wake up and look around at everything thats going down -
All wrong
You see we need to change it now, this world with too few happy endings
We can resolve to start all over make a new beginning
Start all over
Start all over
Start all over
Start all over
The world is broken into fragments and pieces
That once were joined together in a unified whole
But now too many stand alone - theres too much separation
We can resolve to come together in the new beginning
Start all over
Start all over
Start all over
Start all over
We can break the cycle - we can break the chain
We can start all over - in the new beginning
We can learn, we can teach
We can share the myths the dream the prayer
The notion that we can do better
Change our lives and paths
Create a new world and
Start all over
Start all over
Start all over
Start all over
The whole worlds broke and it aint worth fixing
Its time to start all over, make a new beginning
Theres too much fighting, too little understanding
Its time to stop and start all over
Make a new beginning
Start all over
Start all over
Start all over
Start all over
We need to make new symbols
Make new signs
Make a new language
With these well define the world
And start all over
Start all over
Start all over
Start all over ...

Praying To A New God
(feldman / chandler / hues)
What got into you got into me too
What came over you is coming over me
Feel like Ive had enough of all the old stuff
I saw the writing on the wall on my t.v.
Its another second coming, like it or not, yeah,
Oh yeah
Its another second coming, like it or not
You better start praying to a new god
Start praying, praying to a new god
Start praying to a new, new god
Theyre saying the devils got a new job
Start praying to a new--
A lot of babel came down the cable
Everybody can be famous for a day
From shore to shore
A big department store
Is all thats left of the american way
Its another second coming, like it or not, yeah,
Oh yeah
Its another second coming, like it or not
You better start praying to a new god
Start praying, praying to a new god
Start praying to a new, new god
Start praying what are you afraid of
Start praying to a new--
Theres a big world
In the street outside
In their uniform of pride
And theyve all come
To see a star from the east
Is he man or beast?
Decide
Feel like Im crucified, still Im not satisfied
The second coming is coming anyway
I hear them pray for more on every dance floor
I hear the word go out across the milky way
Its another second coming, like it or not, yeah,
Oh yeah
Its another second coming, like it or not
You better start praying to a new god
Start praying, praying to a new god
Start praying to a new, new god
Success and moneys what hes made of
Start praying to a new--
Start praying, praying on the freeway
Start praying to a new, new god
Start praying, praying on the airwaves
Start praying to a new god
Start praying, praying at the back door
Start praying to a new, new god
Start praying, praying on the dance floor
Start praying to a new god

The Move
Fantasies of love for years I've had.
I've made my move it makes me glad.
I finally feel I'm getting there.
Having you close with hope in hand.
I hope it's yes or I'll be sad.
I gave my heart to try and start.
The perfect love that never parts.
We're ideal mates it is our fate.
So take my words and don't berate.
What we feerl because it's real.
To run away is a cruel ordeal.
I made my move I hope it's smooth.
Don't fight it now or we'll both lose.
The grateful fate that we should choose.
