For the last 30 years our cinemas have been ruled by science fiction and horror. We've had some very good Fantasy films in that time period, but for my tastes I still haven't seen fantasy done to absolute perfection. That is the hope I have in this project.

Science Fiction Woman
She was my science fiction woman,
I was her science fiction man,
Yet our love was no fiction
In our science fiction land.
I wore my science fiction spacesuit,
She wore a spacesuit just like mine,
While we were floating together
In our science fiction minds.
She said her name was Taylor Trippy-
A flower child light years beyond-
She was a science fiction hippy-
A spacey and vivacious blonde.
She told me of our global warming,
Greenhouse gases, acid rain,
She told me everything I know
About the structure of the brain.
So we cruised through constellations
In our science fiction ship,
Transcending time and generations-
Forever free, forever hip.
She came from some unknown planet
In some uncharted galaxy,
And we were both kindred souls
In our cosmic fantasy.
And I don't know how I knew her
Or how we came to meet that night-
She was my science fiction woman,
Who traveled at the speed of light.
At night I look upon the ocean,
The distant stars where she might be-
She was my science fiction woman,
Who set my heart forever free.

When I started in the business, there was a thing called adult fantasy, but nobody quite knew what it was, and most publishers didn't have an adult fantasy list. They had science fiction lists, which they stuck a little bit of fantasy into.

I had read tons of science fiction. I was fascinated by other worlds, other environments. For me, it was fantasy, but it was not fantasy in the sense of pure escapism.

I cannot say how strongly I object to people using other people's writing as research. Research is non-fiction, especially for horror, fantasy, science fiction. Do not take your research from other people's fiction. Just don't.

We do a hard fantasy as well as hard science fiction, and I think I probably single-handedly recreated military science fiction. It was dead before I started working in it.

So fantasy was fine early on, and when I discovered science fiction, I was very happy with it, because my first interest in science fiction came with an interest in astronomy.

I have heard Science Fiction and Fantasy referred to as the fiction of ideas, and I like that definition, but it's the mainstream public that chooses my books for the most part.

Return To Fantasy
Searching every day
Looking every way
Trying to make a connection
To find a piece of the action
Like a hungry poet
Who doesnt know
He is close to perfection
Choice is the question
Moonlight night
After moonlight night
Side by side
They will see us ride
But if they cared to look
Then they would see
Its our return to fantasy
Fantasy, fantasy
Can you understand
That in every man
Theres a need to unwind
Thats never been defined
Somewhere deep within
Theres another being
You are somehow abusing
By the person youre using
Moonlight night
After moonlight night
Side by side
They will see us ride
But if they cared to look
Then they would see
Its just our return to fantasy
Fantasy, fantasy
Travelling faster than lightening
Closer than ever before
We can go on for you
And take you nearer to
The legend of mystery
From the beginning of time
Dreaming... time ... dreaming
We can return to
The land of the good and the kind
Time... dreaming... time... dreaming
Why dont you come to our party
And open your minds
In another place
Theres a newer face
Like an unfinished painting
Your creator is waiting
The brush and pen describe
What it is inside
That will set your mind thinking
While the others are sinking

And by the way, I wanted to point out that Kindred is not science fiction. You'll note there's no science in it. It's a kind of grim fantasy.

But basically what I like are the possibilities, and the fantasy element of the show. Not science fantasy so much, but fantasy, the humanistic elements and how people relate when they're in a dire situation or comedic situation.

Beyond that, I seem to be compelled to write science fiction, rather than fantasy or mysteries or some other genre more likely to climb onto bestseller lists even though I enjoy reading a wide variety of literature, both fiction and nonfiction.

Your Poetry
You ask me what I like
About your Poetry?
Everything about it
Is so Beautiful,
So Wonderful,
So Ethereal ~
As the Lover’s
Fantasy…
The way you dedicate
Your poems to me
In your dreams and
Reveries of
Fantasising me…
I feel Beautiful,
Wonderful and
Ethereal ~
Just the way you
Want me to be!
Your poems beautify me
Your fantasies edify me…
You win me over with your
Renderings of romantic poetry.
I am all yours…
Your poetry seems to say.
Let this not be a Fantasy.
Hope one day, I’ll be yours
Truly yours, only yours,
Forever yours…
Life is a Fiction and a Fantasy.
May be, I’ll remain yours,
Not only through this Life.
But in soul, spirit and matter
For aeons together…
Beyond death, beyond time.
You and I merged into
The Oneness of Eternity.

I have to do more close research and fact checking for the science fiction. This is not however to say that writing good fantasy does not involve doing good research.

Summer Lady
Loving you this way
Has made my tired heart sing
Lady, you touch my soul
With all the love you bring
Being so close to you
Is where I want to be
Dont turn your smile away
Dont break my fantasy
Summer lady
You look good to me
Summer lady
Youre my fantasy
Seeing your presence near
Every time I wake
My life would be incomplete
If I didnt have you there
Summer lady
You look good to me
Summer lady
Youre my fantasy
Bridge
Solo
Laying here in my room
With all my worldly things
Dont make up for all my dreams
Of you in my fantasy
Summer lady
You look good to me
Summer lady
Youre my fantasy
Summer lady
You look good to me
Summer lady
Youre my fantasy
Please dont take my dreams away
Oh, summer lady

Make It Real
Music :rudolf schenker
Lyrics:herman rarebell
You can always trust your inner feelings
cause they always tell the truth
Where did it get you, then your analyzing
Just do what feels right for you
If you take life as a crazy gamble
Throw your dice take your chance
You will see it from the different angle
And you too can join the dance
Make it real not fantasy
Fantasy
Make it real not fantasy
Fantasy oooh yeah
Did you ever have a secret yearning
Dont you know it could come true
Nows the time to set wheels turning
To open up your life for you
As you know theres always good and evil
Make your choice dont be blind
Open up your mind and dont be trivial
Theres a whole new world to find
Make it real not fantasy
Fantasy
Make it real not fantasy
Fantasy oooh yeah
Did you ever have a secret yearning
Dont you know it could come true
Nows the time to set wheels turning
To open up your life for you
If you take life as a crazy gamble
Throw your dice take your chance
You will see if from a different angle
And you too will join the dance
Make it real not fantasy
Fantasy
Make it real not fantasy
Fantasy
Make it real not fantasy
Fantasy
Make it real not fantasy
Fantasy oooh yeah
