I think that might have been an element in it, and people have asked me that very thing. Remember, Disney is the majority shareholder, but it is not an operating division of Disney.

A Disney Fan
I have to admit
I'm a Walt Disney fan
From the moment I watched
The little mermaid
He had me hook line and sinker
At first when my boy
Was just a toddler
I use to embellish the joy
Of buying Disney movies
Then when he grew out of those
I had to make excuses of my own
And often told rose colored lies
About how still he loved
The Disney films
Little did the adults know?
They were my own
Escape from reality
But I still loved to watch
A Disney film
So no longer will I hide
And blame it on my poor son
I am and will ever be
A Disney Fan

Disney had such a hold on the mind of America-they were Adolf Hitler. The whole country thought Disney was some sort of god and that animation was some sort of pure thing for children.

Too many of Disney animators, and a lot try to emulate Disney, are trying to hit what they call quality levels. They're boring mannerisms.

Disney was a family film studio. I was supposed to be their young, leading man. After they found out I was involved with someone, that was the end of Disney.

The Memory's in The Characters
Goofy is just crazy, Mickey is real cool,
Minnie is so pretty, all Pluto does is drool!
Mortimer is evil, and Pete is too,
Jafar wants the magic lamp, but they'd run if you said 'Boo'.
Snow White has found her prince, Cinderella has lost her slipper,
Sleeping Beauty has been wakened, and Ariel lost her flipper!
So people who read this poem, you can see that I was busy,
But remember who the creator was, Mr. Walt Disney!

Marx was fortunate to have been born eighty years before Walt Disney. Disney also promised a child's paradise and unlike Marx, delivered on his promise.

Remember Then And Now
Remember little jack sprat
Remember three little pigs
Remember all those fairy tales
That seemed so real to us a kids
Remember mother goose
Remember Cinderella going to the ball
Remember the old lady in the shoe
Remember sleeping beauty eyes closed and all
Remember growing up and out
Remember getting rid of baby things
Remember watching Disney
And not singing barney songs we used to sing
Remember getting grow up
Remember sleeping in big kid beds
Remember ditching Barbie dolls
And tiring to flush their heads
Remember going to jr. high
Remember how scary it seemed
Remember getting used it
But not to getting picked last on teams
Remember when people had cliques
Remember when you were not part one
Remember when people started acting weird
But with your friends you still had fun
Remember eight-gread graduation
Remember high school seeming tough
Remember the day you got there
And it really wasn’t that rough
Someday you’ll look back
And remember doing this too
It seems weird now but
But it depends on your attitude

People still think of me as a cartoonist, but the only thing I lift a pen or pencil for these days is to sign a contract, a check, or an autograph.

Disney Love
You are my Mickey to my Minnie,
My Donald to my Daisy.
Baby, I love you,
You don't know how you amaze me.
You are the honey to my Pooh,
The Cinderella to my Charming Prince.
There's no one I have wanted,
No one I have thought of since.
The Eric to my Ariel,
Dwarfs to Snow White.
Looking up,
I am thinking of you an this beautiful starry night.
Timon to Puumba,
Mulan to Shane.
All of these Disney characters love each other,
Just as we do the same.
I love you like Woody loves Bo Peep,
Like all of these Disney couples.
I will love you through all of the poisoned apples, dragons, and witches,
I will love you through all of the troubles.
