May The Road Rise To Meet You
May the road rise to meet you
and bring happiness your way.
May love always surround you
keeping you warm with each day.
May troubles always avoid you
as you travel on your way.
May the road rise to meet you
with first summer rays.
May your world always be
the focus of the one that loves thee.
May your heart be shared with kindness
and love from everyone.
May the road rise to meet you
as each season comes to call.
May your life never feel discord
within anything you want to do.
May the road rise to meet you
your whole life through.

Further On
Where the road is dark
and the seat is soaked
where the gun is cocked
and the bullet's cold
where the miles are marked in blood and gold
I'll meet you further on up the road
Got on my dead man's suit
and my smilin' skull ring
my lucky graveyard boots
and a song to sing
I got a song to sing, keep me out of the cold
and I'll meet you further on up the road
Further on up the road
further on up the road
where the way is dark
and the night is cold
but one sunny morning we'll rise, I know
and I'll meet you further on up the road
Well I been out in the desert
was doin' my time
searching through the dust
looking for a sign
if there's a light up ahead
well, buddy, I don't know
but I got this fever
burning in my soul
so let's take the good times as they come
and I'll meet you further on up the road
Further on up the road
further on up the road
where the way is dark
and the night is cold
one sunny morning we'll rise, I know
and I'll meet you further on up the road
one sunny morning we'll rise, I know
and I'll meet you further on up the road
yeah I'll meet you further on up the road
well I'll meet you further on up the road

One meets his destiny often in the road he takes to avoid it.
Destiny
Sometimes I think I've lost my mind
I thought I'd left my past behind
I live my life and all I know is
Follow your dream and don't let go
No one can live for me
No one can see the things I see
I walk this road no one can tell me how to be
It's my destiny
There is no right, there is no wrong
There is no place where I belong
I've done my time I've held a strong end
My life is all about this song
No one can live for me
No one can see the things I see
I walk this road no one can tell me how to be
It's my destiny
If I threw it all away, would it change? (No)
I would live my life again, will you arrange it?
There is a magic in my heart
That I feel
Don't you know that God is love
And it's real
La la la la la la la...
No one can live for me
No one can see the things I see
I walk this road no one can tell me how to be
It's my destiny
My destiny
My destiny
My destiny
It's my destiny

I couldn’t avoid you
I couldn’t avoid you,
since destiny determined,
that we must have each other.
Your love took the pain out of me
and although my heart was armoured with steel,
your hands went into my deepest soul.
I couldn’t avoid
to love you since it was determined by destiny
and engraved into my soul in a own language.
Who and what I am you understand
and you make me happy,
know how to bring out the best in me
and I couldn’t avoid you.

You often meet your fate on the road you take to avoid it.
A Modern Myth
Rests a sparrow at my balcony
And looks for her destiny in the top corner ventilator.
Her look looks an enquiry to me
And I reply her as in a theatre:
“I dare not envision thy destiny
Coz Destiny himself has been lamenting
For the road not taken!
I would certainly have been a prophet
But it’s not because of destiny that I am on the road I am on
But because Certainty has shaken! ! ”
The sparrow twists her head as in total confusion
And flutters away, and
I add to my poem:
'I am sure as I call thou a sparrow
Coz Nature has evolved you to flutter the way you flutter
Or because has She mistaken? '

Bound No’th Blues
Goin’ down the road, Lawd,
Goin’ down the road.
Down the road, Lawd,
Way,way down the road.
Got to find somebody
To help me carry this load.
Road’s in front o’ me,
Nothin’ to do but walk.
Road’s in front of me,
Walk…an’ walk…an’ walk.
I’d like to meet a good friend
To come along an’ talk.
Hates to be lonely,
Lawd, I hates to be sad.
Says I hates to be lonely,
Hates to be lonely an’ sad,
But ever friend you finds seems
Like they try to do you bad.
Road, road, road, O!
Road, road…road…road, road!
Road, road, road, O!
On the no’thern road.
These Mississippi towns ain’t
Fit fer a hoppin’ toad.

Soul Less
And he walks soul less.
the past dark and endless.
skeltons we all have.
his always whispering.
And he walks soul less.
Grass green, but he cant smell it.
sky blue but he cant see it
life wonderess. but he has forgotten.
And he walks soul less.
Towards a destiny he cant avoid
a destiny he fears he created.
a destiny paid for in spades.
And he walks soul less
Scared, broken, unloved, shamed.
the ground all his eyes now ponder.
a man in body only.
And he walks soul less

I Will Surely Lie
Destiny dictates us who to meet in life,
but it's only the heart that will decide
who will really stay in this heart and mind
and if ever destiny dictates me to live without you
I will surely lie...not because of destiny,
...but my own free will

Destiny, Dragging On
My destiny is tired.
The slope leads upwards, onwards,
Into clouds and far beyond.
My destiny, like me, walks slowly
Mumbles softly
Remembers ancient rhymes.
My destiny, not knowing why
Hardly realising that every game has it's rules
Has decided to try
Though, tired, and betrayed,
A little bit frayed
Has decided
To carry on, far beyond, with aching feet,
On the winding path, the trees
The boulders and rocks
To avoid the torrent gushing beneath.

The book of astrology
Once I bought a book of astrology
Which was used to confer my destiny
For so great my destiny was
I dared not to miss a single fact
The astrologer's book confided me to wait
Three precious, long days as a stake
'Then do what you want, ' it said
'You will every where meet success.'
So waited I, without thinking much, in belief
My greatest pleasure being relieved
Till the end of the day number three
When I would be a person of care free
At last the longing day slowly came
And my face was as clear as a pane
For my destiny was only at an arm's length from me now
Waiting for me to come as a storm
But when I reached my destiny's dwelling
My heart was filled with woeful yelling
For my destiny had fled with my adversary
And to whom should I blame for this tragedy?

Fate and Destiny
Fate and Destiny
Who can tell us what Fate and Destiny are?
Who can tell us what our Fate is?
Who can tell us what our Destiny is?
Fate. Destiny.
People say we cannot choose our Fate, but we can choose our Destiny.
People say we are Fated or Destined to do/become something.
Fate. Destiny.
Are they different?
Are they the same?
People say we can choose Destiny and we are Fated to do it.
People say that our Destiny is open, but our Fate is sealed.
Are Fate and Destiny the same?
If our Destiny has yet to be chosen but our Fate is sealed, then is not our Destiny already chosen, but unseen to us until the opportune moment?
Fate. Destiny.
When is the opportune moment?
At what point in our life will our Fate and Destiny be revealed?
Or will we realize what our Fate and Destiny are only when it is too late?
Or will we pass our Fate and Destiny without knowing it?
Fate. Destiny.
If someone tells us what our Fate and Destiny are, will we like what we hear?
Or will you strive against the path set before you?

Destiny Unbound
Highway bills on the rotary still and he cant even feel the painof a sun dried shoulder and a scar from a boulderthat cut him right across his veinnow hes suckin cigar and hes shovelin tar
E crater of a turnpike terrainhes got only one hope, and he wants to elope, cuz highway jill is driving him insane.
We gotta get on the road, destiny unboundshes the one for me we gotta get outta townwe gotta get on the road, destiny unboundshes the one for me we gotta get outta townhighway jill was a daffodil with a cactus sense of prideat the wheel of a tractor, she was quite an impactorwhen the road rocks started to slideshe saw bill drop his shovel on a pile of gravelas he climbed up out of his ditchshe was wonderstruck when he climbed in her truckhe said Ive been havin this everlasting itch
Chorus
At first she was cold, she was ready to scoldthis guy from the pit with a thing in his headbut then she thought twice when he melted her icewith his passionate eyes she was energized!she started the ignition and without permissionthe two of em flew down the dusty roadbut the road wasnt finished and the pavement diminishedthey soared off the edge and they plunged in the sludge
She said:there isnt even any road, our destiny was boundwe were the ones for us but now were in the ground(4x)
