Like, I kind of developed my musical style in a vacuum. Even though I listen to a lot of stuff, the way I wrote was in my bedroom, really privately. It's still the way I write, actually.
Many have argued that a vacuum does not exist, others claim it exists only with difficulty in spite of the repugnance of nature; I know of no one who claims it easily exists without any resistance from nature.

Bubblehead
Spinning on a mound of battered and rival fools, and freaks look out
We really are the same behind our smiles of plasticene
Siting on a sofa, going over catch me in your hands
Stuck inside a vacuum tube, I've lost control
I can't get out

Nature Will Reclaim
Silent rain gently falls
Just as the moonlight quietly calls
Calls to the withering nature around
Concrete replaces soft tender ground
Cities take over, buildings rise
Nature escapes us, hiding from man
Resorts cover cliffs, shadowing the sand
The world warms, ice capes melt
Mankind is slowly killing itself
