Demon voice

he tells me to fight not to walk away
he tells me to scream not to talk rational
he tells me to hate not to forgive
he tells me destroy not to create
he tells me to give in
he tells me to kill

he knows it's almost his time
he knows he will be free
he knows he will have fun
he knows it will be a bloody ride to the end
he knows the end is death and so do i

Every Face Tells A Story

Look at the man in the corner, hes sitting all alone
His blankets are made out of cardboard,
His pillows are made out of stone
Every face tells a story it never tells a lie
Every face tells a story it never tells a lie
See the man walking on the water, see the light in his eyes
He came into the world with a message to tell,
He came into the world to die
Every face tells a story it never tells a lie
Every face tells a story it never tells a lie
Youre always telling stories, youre always telling me lies
Youre always telling stories, why?
So think of yourself in the water, seeing your days flashing by
Its too late to see what you wanted to be,
Youve spent all your time, you must die
Every face tells a story it never tells a lie
Every face tells a story it never tells a lie
Step down
And make it work out right
Im trying to get to you with my warning
Been there
For nearly half the night
Look its nearly four in the morning

No Adequate Explanation

I have no adequate explanation-
I just know-because my heart tells me!
As though in a state of suspended animation,
I wait, and shall, because my heart tells me! !

They say there is a mate for each-
I say mine is you, because I feel it in my soul!
No sacrifice is too much, which leads me within your reach-
I know-because I feel it in my heart, which you stole!

I have no doubts, we are a Divine truth-
You know-because your heart tells you so;
I just believe, I need no form of proof-
You believe-because your heart tells you so!

I know it is but a matter of where, when or how-
Yet, because my mind tells me so, I wish it were now!

Sonnet: A Teacher

I loved to be a Medical-Teacher;
My Teacher Father was my role model;
His scholarliness was his great feature;
His greatness words can never truly tell.

A Teacher tells whatever, he has known;
And moulds the conduct, character of wards;
He guides his pupils like his very own;
And expects never earthly just rewards.

A Teacher stays a Teacher forever;
None can replace his place uniquely held;
His students must be brighter and clever,
And when that happens, he is much reveled.

The students imbibe Teacher's noble thought;
To hand the same to progeny, they ought.

My Faults

I have so many faults, I know it’s true
I’m trying to correct them, but it’s hard to do.
My faults have become goals that I must achieve
By doing this, they won’t be seen

I’ll turn off the television and at my computer I’ll sit
My wife sees me and she catches a fit
She says that if I could I’d be on the computer 24/7
And that’s not the way that I’ll get to heaven

She says it’s an obsession, and I say it’s a passion
And my daughter tells me it’s not in fashion
My daughter tells me “ dad- you’re up in your years”
And the loss of the other eye, I do fear.

My grandson calls me “ one eyed jack”
And against me the cards are stacked
Mom and granny are ganging up on you
And there is nothing that I can do
They’ll tell me to keep quiet or go to another room
So my fight ends real soon

For a seven year old, he has wisdom beyond his years
And both women against me he does have fears
My daughter is getting me a laptop with more memory
Which I think will make it easier for me
I could hide in the bathroom and continue to write
And I’ll be out of her sight

Fools

Good morning, sit down!
Dont sing anybodys anthem
Till you know whats on his mind
Keep the little grey ones working
Dont believe them deaf and blind
Ask them questions
Ask them questions
Where when who and why
Shut up yo mama tells ya
Shut up yo mama tells ya too
Shut up yo teacher tells ya
And youre gonna be their fool
And youre gonna be their fool
And when you ask them too much
They mostly answer with a sigh
And if you do it too directly
You wont get a real reply
Ask them questions...
Shut up...
Sit down!

The Value of Rubies

Virtuous woman
Valued beyond rubies
Till time and wear
and truth and tear
steals the light

Better for value are you
women of ill repute
in dimly lit
alleys and taverns
Who, when paid:
Tells you they love you
When you know they don't
Tells you to trust them
When you know you can't
Tells you this matters
When you know it doesn't
Though who tells you
they stay
by the hour
till time is up
and do
and you sit in bed
smoking
watching
her ass
as she leaves
Glowing ember
turning to ashes
flickers, fails
and finally
dies.

My son's Teacher

On this beautiful day
For all of a whole eight hours
My little boy I place
Dear Teacher, with trust in these hands of yours.

Teach him dear Teacher
The right way to grow
So when he is older
He will know the way he should go

By example, dear Teacher
In words that you say
By things that you do
Dear Teacher, show him the right way.

Graciousness let him see
And gracious words let him hear
Not the rude, the nasty
Keep belittling away from his ears.

Show him how firmness and love
Can difficult people or times gently handle
That screaming and beating
Become only a bully’s poor saddle.

I tell him dear Teacher
Solutions are thought
But the cane at school dear Teacher
Tells him by violence they are bought.

Dear Teacher of my little boy
Do please take care
To you he is one in a forty
To me he is one in a one, only!

A bad or a good teacher

A bad teacher is negatively pessimistic
A good teacher is positively optimistic

A bad teacher swears all the time
A good teacher cares in their prime

A bad teacher passes on rude fear
A good teacher has on good ears

A bad teacher discourages
A good teacher encourages

A bad teacher despairs
A good teacher prepares

A bad teacher likes to bitch
A good teacher likes to teach

A bad teacher shouts every moment
A good teacher scouts for every talent

A bad teacher is up for crude devices
A good teacher is up for good advice

A bad teacher lets students fight on in the dark
A good teacher sets students on the right track

A bad teacher feeds on their looks
A good teachers reads many books

A bad teacher sings along with wrong faults
A good teacher brings along the right results

Buddha

Believe nothing merely because you have been told it. Do not believe what your teacher tells you merely out of respect for the teacher. But whatsoever, after due examination and analysis, you find to be kind, conducive to the good, the benefit, the welfare of all beings -- that doctrine believe and cling to, and take it as your guide.

Mr. Green

Green leaves tell you
How green your mind is,
Wide boroughs tell you
How broad your mind is,
Velvet grasses tell you
How soft your hair is,
Clean water ponds tell you
How your tears are,
White clouds tell you
How your floating thoughts are,
Birds in group tell you
How you enjoy friend’s company,
Peacock tells you
How you dance in rain,
Lion tells you
How to react with pride,
Deer tells you
How you enjoy your freedom,
And environment tells you
How you can become Mr. Green.

I love my teacher

I love my teacher
He is full of life
I love my teacher
He doesn't cause any strife
I love my teacher
For he is full of light
I love my teacher
He is always bright
I love my teacher
For he doesn't get in a fight
And, I love my teacher
For he tells me to look on the side that's bright

I had an experience... I can't prove it, I can't even explain it, but everything that I know as a human being, everything that I am tells me that it was real! I was given something wonderful, something that changed me forever... A vision of the universe that tells us, undeniably, how tiny, and insignificant and how ... rare, and precious we all are! A vision that tells us that we belong to something that is greater than ourselves, that we are not — that none of us — are alone! ... I wish I could share that. I wish, that everyone, if only for one moment, could feel that awe, and humility, and hope. But ... that continues to be my wish.

From Where Shall I Greatness Buy?

Mom tells me to finish my homework quickly,
When I ask why? , she tells me
“You should become great as great as your dad”.
When I ask, where is my dad Mom?
She tells me, “He is now god’s guest.”
Again when I ask Mom,
“Can I not become great by being the god’s guest”?
She slaps me gently and tells me,
“Now just shut up and get your homework done”.
Little later when I ask she says,
“Your Dad fought like a tiger,
risking his life, he never bothered.
His gun has brought him greatness
and the honour of being the god’s guest.
Again when I ask,
“Do people become great when they fight”?
If so, I will beat in the school,
My friend Philip, with my might.”
Now, Mom calls me stupid and gives me a push.
Crying I go to sleep in her lap,
Now she says, “Tomorrow I will
give you pocket money for ice-cream”.
Wiping my eyes when I ask,
Mom! ”Can I by saving pocket money,
try greatness buy”?
Tell Mom, “From where shall I greatness buy”?
She tells, “Oh god help me”
and begins to cry.

I love him

They say we are too young,
They think we are dumb,
They feel we are lying,
They tell us to wait,
They bealive we arny ready,
They must not believe in their heart.

I believe in my heart,
My heart dosent think, it speaks,
My heart dosent lie, it tell the truth
My heart dosent think, it speaks,
My heart dosent wait, it goes straight for the prize,
And my heart is not to young to love,

I will follow my heart,
It tells me I love him,
It tells me I need him,
It tells me I want him back,
It tells me it is broken because of him,
It tells me I LOVE him

The Fortune Teller

There's a fortune teller
that tells it like she sees it.
But how do I know that
what she sees is true?
Maybe it's all hokum
and then what will I do?

She tells me I will meet
the man in my life
that will sweep me off my feet
and make me his wife.

She tells me I'll have babies,
that they will make me proud.
She tells me she sees sunshine
and not a single cloud.

And so I feel better,
better than before.
But before I leave,
before I leave your door

Let me look into your eyes
to see if these are lies.
Oh fortune teller let it all be true.
My time is running out now.
It's all up to you.
