Who has not had a taste longs to do so, but for whom has tasted then the longing is a hundred times more.

A Hundred Times Over
A hundred times over words have flowed through my fingers to the keys
A hundred times over I have released the freedom that is in my mind,
A hundred times over I have become one with my inter most longing,
A hundred times over I have taken a journey to show you my own world.
A hundred times over I have written of pain and life, of sorrow and joy,
A hundred times over I have used my art to show you what's in my mind
A hundred times over again I will show you.
A hundred times over I have cried for those, whose names are untold,
A hundred times over I have showed you their pain.
A hundred times over I have become their connection to you,
A hundred times over I have showed you the beauty of our world,
A hundred times over I have taken you somewhere you may never see,
A hundred times over my words have screamed the horror of darkness,
A hundred times over I have sung to you the beauty of light,
A hundred times over I have taken your hand to lead you to a new place
A hundred time over I have written for those who have no words to write
A hundred times over I have tried to show truth in a world of lies,
A hundred times over I have have tried to show the world's beauty,
A hundred times over again I will lead down these paths,
A hundred times over and over again I will show you reality,
A hundred times over and over again I shall show you my world,
A hundred times over and over again until you have memorised truth,
A hundred times over again until you can repeat what I have told,
A hundred times over again shall I create an art of words, time, of life.
A hundred times over again I shall do this,
A hundred times over again.
A hundred times over.

Undermined
One hundred million times I said it to you
Theres nothing else I will do for you
How many times do you have to hear from me
Theres nothing you can do to keep me here
All violations and degradations
All confrontations are decimating
I feel so sick inside, I feel so undermined
You hold me to the edge of a knife
You make me suffer inside
Your tone of voice seems amplified
You think Ill succumb to all of your lies
One hundred million times I tasted deceit
And no one cares but for one other release
Not one insight of me, not one can make you see
Not one can make you bleed, not hundred silence you
Carry on the lean machine, carry on your lean machine
I carry on with my big dream
Like the stowaway no ones seen
I feel so undermined, I feel so sick inside
And I am misunderstood for times
No one seems to realize
That Ill get what I want and I got what I wanted to do
And I get what I want to do
And I get what I want them to do
No one destroys my dream
No one will destroy my dream

Dasgupta asks...
What have you gained
if you have not gained yourself,
yourself the immortal,
yourself the infinite ?
What have you gained
if you have never tasted in your life
the deep longing to be free,
the deep longing to be liberated?
The spirit of the saints of all the ages
whispers in my ears -
what have you gained
if you have never tasted
the joys of self-surrender?
If your heart has not longed
to make of you a flute
in the hands of Krishna,
master musician of the universe?
And if you have not been able
to sweeten all your miseries
with a touch of God?
(versified from a lecture in Evanston, US, in 1926)

The Longing Is The Heart Of The Poem
THE LONGING IS THE HEART OF THE POEM
The longing is the heart of the poem
The longing for so much
Which will never be again-
The longing to be young again
To love again
In a true and deep way-
The longing for all the times and people
Who are not
And never will be again-
The longing which tells me again and again
How much we lose in merely living
How deep and rich life is
In time and ways and people
Beyond our ever remembering and recollecting fully-
The longing is for so much that is gone
For so much that will never be again-
Life itself is a longing for life itself
And life goes beyond itself in so many ways-
All the longing all my longing
Will never bring it back
even that
which is always here.

One Hundred Ripples
One hundred ripples I mark today
One hundred steps along my way
One hundred steps lead to the pond
One hundred trees there do surround
One hundred birds nesting among the trees
One hundred bees filling the air with these
One hundred bees buzzing about in the air
One hundred flowers are pollinating there
One hundred flowers provide the aromas sweet
For one hundred bouquets given to lovers as treat
One hundred lovers walk the winding pathway
One hundred times to find romance there each day
One hundred times they will reach to explore
One hundred pebbles found along the pond shore
One hundred pebbles carry wishes through the air
One hundred ripples on surface creating there
One hundred ripples then spreading out will begin
One hundred waves soon lapping at the shore again
One hundred waves providing the means for
One hundred more pebbles to reach the shore
One hundred pebbles scatter along the pathway
One hundred steps retraced at the end of the day
One hundred small steps... this latest poem was conceived to denote
One hundred little ripples... spreading from 100 poems I wrote

Foregiveness
The common practice of forgiveness
three times, the advanced practice is seven times
Lord Krishna forgave his brother one hundred times
Jesus Christ said, forgive your brother
not seven times seven but
seventy times seven, but I do say
forgive your brother as much as
you can tolerate and make your power of endurance
as much as you attain solidarity
it is a separate issue, one who acts evil
has to repent devil; as if you eat pepper
you will feel pungent, you cant not get
the taste of sweets
Then why do you waste your valuable time
only you march to attain solidarity.

Lingering Tastes
He tasted the wine that was on her lips
when they last had kissed.
It was sweeter than if he drunk of it himself,
a taste he could not resist.
He remembered the taste and never could find
anything better than this.
Was it the wine he couldn't forget
or was it just the kiss?
He tasted the bitterness on her lips
when they last had fought.
It was sharper than the words she said to him,
words that did persist
in finding a way to keep him cold,
nothing worse than this.
Was it the words he would never forget
or was it just the kiss?
The wine, the words and even the kiss
became a source of pain.
He prayed that he'd remember her lips of wine
and that the bitterness would not remain.

Did You Love? And So Many Questions
so did you love her? yes i did
and how did you know you love her? i tasted her
and how did you know you tasted her? my tongue is my witness
and how did she taste like? oh, she was sweet
how sweet? as sweet as sorrow
how did you know? at the end i cried

Is There Still Longing In Paradise?
Is there still Longing in Paradise?
Or is there no Paradise without Longing?
In Longing we most feel alive-
And in Longing’s realization deepest live-
No life without longing-
Longing as Paradise
Longing as Poem.

Only To Nibble A Bit To Then Spit
It is not easy to deliver,
A betterment of one's best.
It becomes expected,
When a taste is created...
And that taste another accepts.
People get use to the familiar.
Although prior to it,
They had settled for the bland.
Until a spicing done to that blandness,
Made more of the spice...
Requested by demand.
It is not easy to deliver,
A betterment of one's best.
It becomes expected,
When a taste is created...
And that taste another accepts.
A rejection of what had been once presented,
Now is refused as mediocrity.
And a closer inspection becomes harsely critiqued.
Critics come out of the woodwork,
To exclaim their findings weak.
And those who plagiarize,
Take credit for their additions done.
But the one who sweats with an innovation...
Never receives a just due that comes!
It is not easy to deliver,
A betterment of one's best.
It becomes expected,
When a taste is created...
And that taste another accepts.
Only to nibble a bit to then spit,
That's it!
As if what is tasted is nothing but garbage.
Especially if a taste of it reminds one of the rest,
That has already bettered the betterment of one's best!

Innocent Times
By eric clapton and marcy levy
I was a child born so free;
It seems that time has put age on me.
And when I grow old, will I once again find
All of those sweet, innocent times?
I was a child born without fear;
It seems that time has placed me here.
With no freedom to laugh, theres more reason to cry.
I really miss those innocent times.
I used to feel joy in my soul,
But now my sorrow has taken control.
As I look around I pray, lord be kind;
Just one more taste of those innocent times.
As I look around I pray, lord be kind;
Just one more taste of those innocent times,
Just one more taste of those innocent times.

One Hundred Thousand Marching
One hundred thousand marching
One hundred thousand men
One hundred thousand heading
To a place and a time when
One hundred thousand dying
One hundred thousand cold
One hundred thousand praying
Forever young and never old
One hundred thousand lives were lost
One hundred thousand felt the pain
One hundred thousand maimed and slaughtered
And yet those armies march again.

Lemon Sorrow
Have you ever tasted sorrow,
I think it taste like lemons,
If all feelings had a taste i think of lemons,
They can be sour then can get sweet,
Lemons sweet or sour then comes the sorrow taste,
Sorrow taste of rain,
Sorrow taste of lemons,

The tiger that has once tasted blood is never sated with the taste of it.
Honeyfuzz
Got ya
I crave, I crave, I crave, I crave
A taste, a taste, a taste, a taste, a taste, a taste
Honeyfuzz, honeyfuzz
I can't go on, go on
Alone, alone, alone, alone, alone
alone without my honeyfuzz, honeyfuzz
Funny, it tasted so sweet like honey
D'you know what I mean? It's so funny
I never had a dream like honey, honey
Got ya
I taste, I taste, I taste, I taste
Go to waste, I taste, go to waste
I taste, go to waste
I taste your honeyfuzz, honeyfuzz
I love, I love, I love, I love, I love
I touch, I love, I love, I touch
I touch your honeyfuzz, honeyfuzz
Funny, it tasted so sweet like honey
D'you know what I mean? It's so funny
I never had a dream like honey, honey
It's so funny, it tasted so sweet like honey
I never had a dream, but honeyfuzz
Honeyfuzz
Honeyfuzz
Honeyfuzz
Honey
