When you begin to understand the situation, you know you must have been ill-informed.

Keep Me Informed
Keep me informed,
When you think you see dawn.
And you are through with darkness
That supplied subdued restlessness.
And you wish to move on!
Yes...
Keep me informed.
Keep me informed,
When you're hopelessness has gone.
I will be there,
To chip aware what is left of your despair.
And you are prepared to sing songs!
Yes...
Please keep me informed.
Keep me informed,
If you feel you've been wronged.
With me I will help you undo...
Bitterness I have felt too!
And we will build a love...
Recognized and true.
Yes...
That is what we will do.
If you keep me informed.
Just keep me informed,
Take your time...
But don't take that time too long!
I've been searching for you.
You are someone who sees through...
Clouds you wish to lift!
And I am here,
To assist with the lifting of it!
Yes...
Keep me informed.
I know together we belong!

Liking Life
One is life’s one, one of the celebrations,
Until the treachery has been committed;
Let informed opinion be made to untie
And then cutting happens due to oldness.
My stopping is to undo and relax
Like opening and closing, fully informed.
Begin now that I walked a hundred miles,
To believe is a sinful endeavour if evil beliefs.
One finds a truthful statement after death
Of another, liking the opposites is liking.

Unaccustomed to Having An Identity
Have you ever been in a situation,
In which you insulted others...
When you had a preference,
To begin to use your own given name?
And others became offended by that?
Others became offended...
Because you announced a clarity of your identity.
AND...
This offended?
AND...
You then became so proud of who you were,
Your entire presence began to threaten?
Especially those unaccustomed to having an identity!
The ones from birth until death,
Are only known by their nicknames.
And they are related to people who will never know,
Their real names.
Ever!
Have you ever been in a situation,
In which you insulted others...
When you had a preference,
To begin to use your own given name?
And the next thing they want you to do,
Is to get 'right' with God.

Take A Minute To Listen
Damn take a minute to listen
a minute to understand the situation
put your self in my position
and tell me what you was thinking
at age sixteen no longer a beauty queen
but a mother and yore only a teen
picture all what you could have been
all the places you could have seen
i tried to understand the situation
better and got lost in your life for a second
and screamed out for a savior
as no one came holding my hand
hard times, i got up screaming as
i came back and held you up to let you
know you'll always have me to care
and be there

Antipoem 03
when you do not understand
that is the time you say you like it
when you tried to understand and still could not understand what you try to really understand
that is the time you say there is a mystery and we have to be prepared to
worship it, for something mysterious could be angels, could be God
understanding is understanding like a mother
she comes to you to reveal things
though slowly and you must be patient like a child
understanding is loving like a father and you must be like a son waiting for
the final advice
but you love more the things that you do not understand
things that mesmerize you and give you the sense of awe
which of course, is followed by the word, say it,
wonder. Wisdom does not begin here. Wisdom begins the moment
you begin to quit smoking.

Waking
WAKING
There are so many dreams no one ever realizes
We wake and try to understand where we are
What we have done in all the years seems folly
Nothing can justify this morning or the day to come
We have forgotten who we are and where we have been
The prayer that helps us and connects us back to God
Revives
We begin to live or try to begin to live
Our names are not known and our work uncelebrated
Our songs are not sung and our labors not blessed
We look out and up at the sky and feel light
We do not know how or why or in what way
But we understand that God has given mornings to begin again
We will take the first step and word and taste and sound
And all we feel and be will begin to revive
We will connect ourselves again with where we are
We will begin to work
And as the day slowly comes back to us we will come back to ourselves
Every day is a new beginning and a world G-d will make
We too are that world and that beginning
In all the many days of blessings and the years of this life
God has enabled us to begin again
This time now too is now different
And these words say we are here now for this morning
So long as this morning is in us.

Asthma
Breathe!
Suffocation within
because of what your sayin'
To understand!
Is to begin again
Yet to Begin!
Is to live again
I tried living my life through your eyes
Smother me with your ways, to death, no breath.
Your choking what little faith I have left.
In time I find the truth lies, Inside the truth lies, Inside
Breathe!
Suffocation within
because of what your sayin'
To understand!
Is to begin again
Yet to Begin!
Is to live again
I would die, to breathe again
I would die, to breathe again
I would die, to breathe again
I would die, to breathe again
Breathe!
Suffocation
I want to Breathe!
Suffocation
I understand
I would die, to breathe again
I would die, to breathe again
Breathe

Tied Up
(j.farrar/l.ritenour)
You keep me waiting,i don't mind waiting
I don't wait for evryone
This is a one time situation
You say you need me, i believe you need me
But you're foolin' no one
This is a one time situation
What does it matter, who's been takin' in?
Ah,what does it matter
When you got two hearts achin' to begin?
Here's the opportunity come and take it to the nth degree
Don't be nervous, i don't have to be tied up in promises
Ooh,tied up in words that cut too deep
Tied up in promises we could never keep
I don't wanna let you down
Don't make me let you down
I get a feeling, a head to toe feeling
There's something special goin' on
This is a one time situation
Take my affection, give me love or rejection
Honey, do what must be down
This is a one time situation
What does it matter, who's been takin' in?
Ah,what does it matter
When you got two hearts achin' to begin?
Here's the opportunity come and take it to the nth degree
Don't be nervous, i don't have to be tied up in promises
Ooh,tied up in words that cut too deep
Tied up in promises we could never keep
Don't get me tied up, i don't wanna let you down
Don't make me let you down
This is a one time situation
This is a one time situation
Here's the opportunity come and take it to the nth degree
Don't be nervous, i don't have to be tied up in promises
Ooh,tied up in words that cut too deep
Tied up in promises we could never keep
Don't get me tied up
Don't get me tied up
Don't get me tied up
Don't get me tied up
Ooh,tied up,ooh ooh,tied up

Tender Situation
[studio version appears on "pure guava"]
Wrote this song called "tender situation",
And it somehow just put everything back together
State this ache as the final break
Tender situation - create a good illusion
Feel the grip of your salvation
This is indeed a tender situation
Make a move man, state your case
Taste the waste man, taste the waste
What is your place in my glorification
This is indeed a tender situation
Get off the pot man, shake and bake
Taste the waste boy, taste the waste
Pump it up or stray from that old station
This is indeed a tender situation
Tender situation, tender situation, tender situation
[repeat all]

Are You There?
When I feel too far away
From where I want to be
Theres nothing left for me, yeah
When I feel too close to breathe
Like a baby cutting teeth
In you I find relief
cause when its more than I can take
I pushed and pulled to break
A sucker for a saint in your eyes
Criticism comes in waves
Numbering our days
But only you can save me
Is anybody even there
Who doesnt just pretend to care
This time I need to know - are you there?
Does anybody think they can
Begin to even understand
This time I need to know - are you there?
Hang on, hang on
I know, I know
Its the lie that we believe
A truth that we conceive
That lies inside of me
When I leave it all behind
Something hypnotized
The moment that its mine
Is anybody even there
Who doesnt just pretend to care
This time I need to know - are you there?
Does anybody think they can
Begin to even understand
This time I need to know - are you there?
Is anybody even there?
Who doesnt just pretend to care
This time I need to know - are you there?
Does anybody think they can
Begin to even understand
This time I need to know - are you there?

Another Day
What seems like such a winter's tale
Lightening runs through the fallen flames
By kneeling down we're here to pray
At that point forsaken unafraid
I only wanna feel you being strong
I only wanna feel you being strong
Call me up and let's begin
Call me up and let's begin
Another day
Call me up and let's begin
Call me up and let's begin
You done that to me
Feel my breath go cold and calm
My pride is last and I sin again
And all the seasons change their scent
A year of hell they come against my head once more
I only wanna feel you being strong
I only wanna feel you being strong
Call me up and let's begin
Call me up and let's begin
Another day
Call me up and let's begin
Call me up and let's begin
You done that to me
INSTRUMENTAL
Call me up and let's begin
Call me up and let's begin
Another day
Call me up and let's begin
Call me up and let's begin
You done that to me
Call me up and let's begin
Call me up and let's begin

Your Needs
Your son informed me about your needs,
Your wife informed me about your needs,
But just one night in the land of your muse!
So, try to learn from those who are ahead of you in this life;
And, earn what you need to sustain your life.

Id Rather Be Strong
(myles goodwyn)
Published by slalom publishing co. - bmi
Its a sad situation
Alot of hopeless information
On the news
Nothins gonna please you
And nothins gonna change
Well thats your view
So many hungry people
Its a shame and is it legal?
Well its a sight
Theres something goin on
Somethin we can change
And its our right
So Id rather be strong
In a hopeless situation, yes
I would rather be strong
In a hopeless situation, yes
I would rather be strong
In a hopeless situation
Yes I would, yes I would
Well you can say its a shame
And things remain the same
And so it goes
But no ones gonna hear you
And no ones gonna see
What doesnt show
Itd be cause for celebration
If only every nation understood
And helping one another
And doing for the other, what they could
And Id rather be strong
In a hopeless situation, yes
I would rather be strong
And to show determination, yes
I would rather be strong
In a hopeless situation
Yes I would, yes I would
Id be a lot better off if I could
Be part of the love
Thats seemingly lost from above
A delicate situation (situation)
Requires contemplation, everyone (everyone)
And someone has to care (someone to care)
When people live in fear of each mans son (each mans son)
So Id rather be strong
In a hopeless situation
Yes, I would rather be strong
In a hopeless situation
Yes, I would rather be strong
In a hopeless situation
Yes, I would, yes, I would
Id be a lot better off if I could
Be part of the love
Thats seemingly lost from above
Id rather be strong, ooh yes, I would
Well, Id rather be strong, yes I would, yes I would, yes I would
Well, Id rather be strong, ooh yes I would
Well, Id rather be strong, be strong, yes I would, yes I would
Well, Id rather be strong, yes I would
Well Id rather be strong, be strong, yes I would
In a hopeless situation
Yes, I would rather be strong
In a hopeless situation, yes
I would rather be strong
In a hopeless situation
Yes, I would rather be strong
In a hopeless situation, yes
I would rather be strong

The Purpose Of Metaphors
you like to be candid
and yet no matter what honest words
in the most simple terms
they still
refuse to understand what you really
want to mean
to say
you shall meet metaphors
those that go inside them
their tone and color and shape and scent
what you have
obviously
you begin to hide what they refuse to believe
dress them
and give them a new face a new set of arms and feet
and these all get near them
and shake hands with them
and then
they relate and begin to understand
you
how can they ever think of something else
beyond what you do not understand
you keep the emotion inside you
you give them a fragile butterfly from your mouth
and awed
they start to believe what pains you
in your hiding things
something new opens
a door, a window, a heart, a mouth
