When the Nile knows a secret the desert will soon know it too.

The Story of River Nile with Egyptian Women
Once upon a time in the beautiful ancient Egypt
The sun asked the river Nile
From where you got this golden color?
The river Nile said
It's the color of the Egyptian women skin
When they come to bath
I melt some of their skin's color
The sphinx asked the river Nile
From where you got this sweet taste? The river Nile said
My sweetness is from the sweat of the Egyptian women.
The pyramid asked the river Nile
Why you flooding up every year
The river Nile said
When i feel longing to have more women
The Egyptian men protested against the Nile
Please stop your sexual harass
They always come back asking for more
The river Nile asked
So do you give them what they need?
The Egyptian men said
Yes we must do..We can't resist their temptation.
The same with me
The river Nile said.

To The Nile
Month after month the gathered rains descend
Drenching yon secret Aethiopian dells,
And from the desert’s ice-girt pinnacles
Where Frost and Heat in strange embraces blend
On Atlas, fields of moist snow half depend.
Girt there with blasts and meteors Tempest dwells
By Nile’s aereal urn, with rapid spells
Urging those waters to their mighty end.
O’er Egypt’s land of Memory floods are level
And they are thine, O Nile--and well thou knowest
That soul-sustaining airs and blasts of evil
And fruits and poisons spring where’er thou flowest.
Beware, O Man--for knowledge must to thee,
Like the great flood to Egypt, ever be.

Secret secrets never seen
Secret secrets ever green

Through mornings thoughts and fantasies
Then I saw your eyes at the cross fades

Ancient Egyptian Women Bathe In River Nile
The River Nile, the sphinx, the pyramids,
ask questions of us all, as do the bodies,
skin tones, sweet sweat, female Egyptians.
Ra and Nile melt golden skin colours,
into fresh taste of sacred Nile waters,
pyramids watch longing as Nile floods.

Don't demand that what you write in the Nile will be read in the desert.
Questions to Desert Wind…
You wonder,
Did the desert wind already forgotten to past?
No dearest, it has always blown so gently…
Crafting this dry open desert,
Shifting mystical sand dunes,
Bringing precious droplets to a thirsty bird,
To comfort her broken heart!
You further asked,
O desert wind…
Why erased my written message in the sand?
So let it be a permanent secret,
Cause I have already engraved it in my heart.

Greetings
Greetings to the tune fish in the Italian Coast,
And of the struggle of the Africans that crosses over!
From the Mediterranean Sea to reach out to your people,
But we still have the Blue-Nile nearby us.
Life in Sudan and of the heat of Africa,
You cannot separate the Pharaohs from the Nile;
And like olive oil, wine and vegetables.
Of the Berber and the Tuareg,
And my hope in Africa lives forever;
Greetings, greetings!
From slaves and camels i was sold together with you;
But today, i am free and i am sitting closer to the River Nile.

Distance from America
Africa so far away, where the Nile River parts its roots
A savanna oasis of desert plumes
America fills its belly with drums
To unmask the dark flames of night

Night Boat To Cairo
Night boat to cairo !!.....
Its just gone noon
Half past monsoon
On the banks of the river nile
Here comes the boat
Only half-afloat
Oarsman grins a toothless smile
Only just one more
To this desolate shore
Last boat along the river nile
Doesnt seem to care
No more wind in his hair
As he reaches his last half mile
The oar snaps in his hand
Before he reaches dry land
But the sound doesnt deafen his smile
Just pokes at wet sand
With an oar in his hand
Floats off down the river nile
Floats off down the river nile

A Tree in the Desert
A tree in the desert thirsts for water
A tree in the desert gets too much sun
A tree in the desert is alone in the freezing night
A tree in the desert might never be seen
A tree in the desert might never be touched
A tree in the desert may or may not thrive
A tree in the desert struggles to stay alive

Desert Rose
Words and music by sting
I dream of rain
I dream of gardens in the desert sand
I wake in vain
I dream of love as time runs through my hand
I dream of fire
Those dreams that tie two hearts that will never die
And near the flames
The shadows play in the shape of the mans desire
This desert rose
Whose shadow bears the secret promise
This desert flower
No sweet perfume that would torture you more than this
And now she turns
This way she moves in the logic of all my dreams
This fire burns
I realize that nothings as it seems
I dream of rain
I dream of gardens in the desert sand
I wake in vain
I dream of love as time runs through my hand
I dream of rain
I lift my gaze to empty skies above
I close my eyes
The rare perfume is the sweet intoxication of love
I dream of rain
I dream of gardens in the desert sand
I wake in vain
I dream of love as time runs through my hand
Sweet desert rose
Whose shadow bears the secret promise
This desert flower
No sweet perfume that would torture you more than this
Sweet desert rose
This memory of hidden hearts and souls
This desert flower
This rare perfurme is the sweet intoxication of love

Philosophers Bones
He’s given them all to a Desert Man
Underdog bitten holes of the head
He’s given them all to a Desert Man
Unleashed sunflower sunward led
He’s given them all to a Desert Man
In windblown power the dinas bled
He’s given them all to a Desert Man
Like tears in the desert rose shed
Stone alone atoned in the last sand clock
Soul alone attained keyed within the lock

The Fly
It's no secret that the stars are falling from the sky
It's no secret that our world is in darkness tonight
They say the sun is sometimes eclipsed by a moon}
Y' know I don't see you when she walks in the room
It's no secret that a friend is someone who lets you help
It's no secret that a liar won't believe anyone else
They say a secret is something you tell another person
So I'm telling you... child
Low Voice:
A man will beg
A man will craw
On the sheer face of love
Like a fly on a wall
It's no secret at all
It's no secret that a conscience can sometimes be a pest
It's no secret ambition bites the nails of success
Every artist is a cannibal

A Letter to the River Nile!
It was 20 Hijri during Second Caliph of Islam Omar (RTA)
Egypt was conquered by the Muslims Led by Amor Ibnul us (RTA)
It was intense drought in Egypt Then!
The Nile has become Dry
People raised a conviction
When they throw a beautiful girl with rich clothes and ornaments on 18 day of the month
The Nile begins to flow with water!
Hearing this The Military commander in chief
Disapproved the idea saying it's a Jaheli Culture
And told people to wait and they waited for three months! But still the Nile didn't flow
So people became restless and wanted to leave the State!
In This situation He wrote a letter to the Caliph
In answer Omar wrote 'Dear Amor, What you did that is right now, I'm sending a message (to the Nile) that you would throw in the Nile! '
Amor (RTA) saw the following lines: -
This message is from an Allah's slave and Amirul Muo-meninn Omar, to the river Nile of Egypt: -
'If you think you Flow yourself, then no need to flow again!
But if the Single entity and the Almighty leads you to flow then, my prayer to Him so that He again makes you to flow! '
Then Amor threw the letter in the Nile!
The next morning people of Egypt saw Allah has made the water flow at the level of 16 yards rise!
From then the water of the Nile still is flowing on
Never has it dried!

Secret Heart
Thanks to [email protected] for these lyrics.
Secret heart what are you made of?
What are you so afraid of?
Could it be three simple words
Or the fear of being overheard
What's wrong?
Let her in on your secret heart
Secret heart, why so mysterious?
Why so secret, why so serious?
Maybe you're just acting tough
Maybe you're just not bad enough
What's wrong?
Let her in on your secret heart
(Bridge) 2x
This very secret you're trying to conceal
Is the very same one you're dying to reveal
Go tell her how you feel
Secret heart come out and share it
This loneliness, few can bear it
Could it have something to do with
Admitting that you just can't
Go through it alone?
Let her in on your secret heart
Let her in on your secret heart

Mrs. Sibley
The secret of the stars, -- gravitation.
The secret of the earth, -- layers of rock.
The secret of the soil, -- to receive seed.
The secret of the seed, -- the germ.
The secret of man, -- the sower.
The secret of woman, -- the soil.
My secret: Under a mound that you shall never find.

Egypt
Follow the nile
Deep to much deeper.
The pyramids sound lonely tonight.
The sands run red
In lands of the pharoahs.
Their symmetry gets right inside me.
I cannot stop to comfort them.
Im busy chasing up my demon.
I cannot stop to comfort them.
Im busy chasing up my demon.
Oh, Im in love
With egypt.
My pussy queen
Knows all my secrets.
Ill never fall in love again.
I drift with dunes.
I whisper of the tombs.
They offer me egyptian delights.
Shes got me with that feline guise,
Got me in those desert eyes.
Shes got me with that feline guise,
Got me in those desert eyes.
Oh Im in love
With egypt.

Desert Rats
Desert rats
Take cover in the heat,
They know what to toss
And what to keep -
They skillfully hide under big sombreros
And down lots of water,
They've learned well when to sit, and when to quit,
When to stay, and when to scatter -
The desert calls them
Right to the edge of existence;
But, too wise are they, any foolish games to play,
For in the desert they have found the art of survival is patience -
Listen close my friends for the divine desert to call you...
By all means, come and see,
But, with eyes wide open tread slowly
Following the tracks of wise old desert rats...
Just like me.
(this is for my pal Juan O. A fellow 'desert rat'!)

The Nomad
Like a mirage riding on the desert sand
Like a vision floating with the desert winds
Know the secret of the ancient desert lands
you're the keeper of the mystery in your hands
Nomad rider of the ancient east
Nomad rider that men know the least
Nomad where you come from no one knows
Nomad where you go to no one tells
Undercover of the veil of your disguise
The men that fear you are the ones that you despise
No one's certain what your future will behold
You're a legend your own history will be told
Nomad rider of the ancient east
Nomad rider that men know the least
Nomad where you come from no one knows
Nomad where you go to no one tells
No one dares to even look or glance your way
Your reputation goes before you they all say
Like a spirit that can disappear at will
Many claim of things but no one's seen you kill

The Crescent
The sun's boat is broken and drowned in the Nile
But a piece is floating about on the water of the Nile
The twilight's pure blood drips into the sky's basin
Has the lancet of Nature drawn the sun's blood?
Has the sky stolen the ear ring of the evening's bride?
Or has the fragile cord in the Nile's waters strolling?
Your caravan is afoot without help of bell's call
The human ear cannot hear your foot-steps' sound
You show the spectacle of rise and fall to the eyes
Where is your home? To which country are you going?
O star-like planet take me with yourself
The prick of Longing's thorn keeps me restless
I am seeking light, I am weary in this habitation
I am the restless child in the existence's school…
