When one hand washes another, both become clean.

Soiled Garments
He had a vindictive
wife once
who used his pliable
pledged heart
like an old worn
out hand-towel.
Wiped her feet
all over it
walked walked
all over it
then tore it
into strips
and threw it
to the garbage.
The funny thing is
old worn out hearts
don’t wash clean.
Soiled garments
don’t come clean
a single good soak
and clean
is not applicable.
Doesn’t wash out
all the stains.
Doesn’t wash out
the ground in pain.
Ground in deep pain
residue remains.
But time repeated washes
a good stain remover
love joy drying out on
life line bleach washes
old hearts clean with
radiant rays vibrant
sunlight sheen revealing
each days new wonder.

Nebuchadnezzar
If my wife is so beautiful,
Leave her to me alone than sleeping with her;
For there are all types of churches on the Mount of Corruption!
The left hand washes the right hand and,
The right hand washes the left hand too;
So let us keep on going in this status of life.
Nebuchadnezzar, you are camping my wife like she is for you;
But i am loved by Yahweh to fight on!
So do leave my wife alone for me.

Clean
Eat clean,
Live clean,
Sleep clean,
dress clean,
Walk clean,
Learn clean,
Play clean,
Think clean,
dance clean,
Talk clean,
Sing clean,
work clean,
Because the world around you is watching what you do;
You are the only one on this earth,
So live and let us live too.

You Don't Cheat On Him Because
He washes dishes
he feeds the kids
he gives you a bath
eyes closed
he cooks, he pours you wine
he makes sure you keep all of your
appointments on time
he is the banker
he walks the dog
he eats your fish
he walked into your eyes wide open
he makes sure you are clean clean clean
that you always fit into your jeans
he takes the children to the dentist
and the doctors while shopping
He never misses a pebble you drop
you would kill for someone like him
sane enough to admit it to crazy to deny it
you co-opted him his price was the cheapest in town.

Lightning Strike
The lighting brings back memories.
The thunder shows my anger.
As the rain washes it away.
the birds fly by, I see my dreams.
As they go home. they're stolen from me.
As the rain washes it away.
The pedal filled with rain drops, I know I'm hurt.
As the rain drops roll off, they're like my tears.
As the rain washes it away.
The clouds are like my soul.
They hide the sun, like I hide my feelings.
As the rain washes it away.
As I sit on my porch,
Watching the rain wash things away.
I see that the storms a lot like me.

Dreams
Written by stevie nicks.
Now here you go again
You say you want your freedom
Well who am I to keep you down
Its only right that you should
Play the way you feel it
But listen carefully to the sound
Of your loneliness
Like a heartbeat.. drives you mad
In the stillness of remembering what you had
And what you lost...
And what you had...
And what you lost
Thunder only happens when its raining
Players only love you when theyre playing
Say... women... they will come and they will go
When the rain washes you clean... youll know
Now here I go again, I see the crystal visions
I keep my visions to myself
Its only me
Who wants to wrap around your dreams and...
Have you any dreams youd like to sell?
Dreams of loneliness...
Like a heartbeat... drives you mad...
In the stillness of remembering what you had...
And what you lost...
And what you had...
And what you lost
Thunder only happens when its raining
Players only love you when theyre playing
Say... women... they will come and they will go
When the rain washes you clean... youll know

And So The Search Begins
he starts with an advertisement
wanted: a clean woman
neat down to the nails
of her toe
one who washes her hands
with chlorine
and gargles salt and vinegar
and munches mint
before kissing
in a line he sees
laundrywomen and washers
and babysitters
he closes the door
and wonders where is the clean woman
of her dreams
he dreams of the unicorn
wearing a white apron
and a bottle of antiseptics
to boot
a purified germ-free presence

What A Wonderful Beginning
Oh a man named John The Baptist
Had been hearlding the news
About the coming of a Savior
For both the Gentiles and the Jews
And it happened in Judea
In the town of Bethlehem
With a bright star o'er the stable
Was born the Son Of Man
Oh the angels were rejoicing
As the tiny baby cried
For the hope of man's salvation
In a manger had arrived
Meek as a lowly shepherd
But the mightiest of kings
He gives peace and life eternal
To whosever calls His name
Oh Emmanuel
The Father's precious Son
Who forgives our sins and washes clean
The hearts of everyone
What a wonderful beginning
To the greatest story ever told
His birth still rings with promise
As true as in days of old
So let us sing His praises
And let us open up our hearts
And receive His timeless message
That gives us all a brand new start
Oh Emmanuel
The Father's precious Son
Who forgives our sins and washes clean
The hearts of everyone
Oh a man named John The Baptist
Had been hearlding the news
About the coming of a Savior
For both the Gentiles and the Jews

And Death Washes Only Bones
And death washes only bones;
The mouth of death speaks oft of every tounge
Never his patience once lost is found in all your nature;
Death washes a bone and the astrologer hands two back,
So the moon when lined up, shines down on Venus asleep.
Time smiles on the heart beating and long of face therein,
death puts it back on the middle shelf prearanged.
And death washes only bones;
Deep valleys are filled with man's rich oil,
And covered over memories by death too often dredged.
Lined up end to end exposed again to harvest the tears of wait;
And death washes only bones and man who drinks so bold,
There being no truth and lies sown shut death eyes all bottoms.

The Cleanest Man....
he is clean
he prides about the beard
that he has
just shaven
he is clean
there is no hair left on his head
no hair between his thighs
and legs
he is clean
his chest is bare now
his heart slowly
beating
he is clean as he
is empty
like a room without
furniture and
drapes
he is clean and without
sin
he who has not done
anything
and can do not wrong again...
he is clean now
for he is dead....

When The Rain Falls Down
when the rain falls down it awakes my dream
when the rain falls down it washes me clean
when the rain falls down it screams my scream
when the rain falls down it follows me
when the rain falls down it carrys me
when the rain falls down it unties me
when the rain falls down it talks to me
when the rain falls down im comin clean
when the rain falls down. down on me.

Clean Up Your Own Backyard
(words & music by b. strange - s. davis)
Back porch preacher preaching at me
Acting like he wrote the golden rules
Shaking his fist and speeching at me
Shouting from his soap box like a fool
Come sunday morning hes lying in bed
With his eye all red, with the wine in his head
Wishing he was dead when he oughta be
Heading for sunday school
Clean up your own backyard
Oh dont you hand me none of your lines
Clean up your own backyard
You tend to your business, Ill tend to mine
Drugstore cowboy criticizing
Acting like hes better than you and me
Standing on the sidewalk supervising
Telling everybody how they ought to be
Come closing time most every night
He locks up tight and out go the lights
And he ducks out of sight and he cheats on his wife
With his employee
Clean up your own backyard
Oh dont you hand me none of your lines
Clean up your own backyard
You tend to your business, Ill tend to mine
Armchair quarterbacks always moanin
Second guessing people all day long
Pushing, fooling and hanging on in
Always messing where they dont belong
When you get right down to the nitty-gritty
Isnt it a pity that in this big city
Not a one alittle bitty manll admit
He could have been a little bit wrong
Clean up your own backyard
Oh dont you hand me, dont you hand me none of your lines
Clean up your own backyard
You tend to your business, Ill tend to mine
Clean up your own backyard
You tend to your business, Ill tend to mine

Be Love A Fluid
Love must be waves of sea
That hit the shores of souls,
The melting ice that wets the hearts,
The tepid water that sooths the nerves
And the clean water that washes dirt
But never to be rigid like solid.
