Wisdom
This worlds wisdom of the wise
is foolishness in disguise.
But the Wisdom in God's Word
is the greatest to be heard.
Trouble Gets Double Treatment
When,
A stretching ends.
A yawn begins.
When that stretching ends.
When,
A thought process...
Accepts mediocrity achieved,
To be one's best.
And this,
Unconsciously...
Stirs the acceptance,
Of a restless nonsense.
Trouble gets...
Double treatment,
That...
Upsets.
Those,
Who protest...
Growth.
And,
Regrets...
A foolishness,
One...
Protects!
YES!
Trouble gets,
Double treatment...
That,
Upsets.
Those,
Who protest...
Growth.
And,
Regrets...
A foolishness,
One...
Protects!
When,
A stretching ends.
A yawn begins.
When that stretching ends.
With taxes applied,
At the max!

Useless
A useless life
Useless excuse.
A waste of life
Waste of breath.
Useless useless
Useless bitch.
Useless in every way
Just so useless
My life is complicated
It is useless
Its a hopeless cause.
I may as well just end things
And go far away

Can't See
We were both cast forth from the same pale hand
And we both moved freely in the shadowlands
And we both were sculpted by the same cold wind
And we both had armor that was made of tin
And i tried to find you, but it's useless
And i tried to speak, but it was useless
And i felt so bad and i didn't know why
And it didn't get better as time went by
I was there for you, but you turned away
And i tried to find you, but you turned away
And i tried to find you, but it's useless
And i tried to speak, but was useless
And i tried to find you, but it's useless
And you're so close, but i can't see you
And you're right there, but i can't see you
And i feel so dumb and i didn't know what to do
You were right there but i can't see you
And i realize that it's useless
And i want to fight, but it's useless
And i know you're there, but it's useless
And you're everywhere, but it's useless
And i tried to say it, but my tongue got tied
And i tried to say it, but i was numb inside
And i can't see you anymore
And my peace of mind has gone through the door
And i realize that it's useless
And i thought i was right, but it was useless
And i know you're there, but it's useless
And you're everywhere, but it's useless
And i can't see now in front of my nose
And i know you're there, and i know you're close
And you're fading away - now you disappear
And i try to focus, but i can't see clear
And i don't know why i feel this way
And i can't control myself anyway
And i don't know why i feel this way
And i can't control myself anyway
And i feel so bad, but it's useless
And i feel so bad, but it's useless
And i feel so bad, but it's useless
And i can't see... now in front of my face.

Wisdom's Way
Wisdom is calling souls today, to come to God in Wisdom's way,
While Wisdom sends forth her call, upon this world, to every soul,
For Wisdom has prepared for us, a house built on Righteousness,
Built up with seven pillars strong; being complete for every throng.
Wisdom has prepared her feast, for those with plenty, to the least,
While she has set her table for all, for both the great and the small,
Wisdom has sent out her invitation, to all souls without reservation,
Her invitation for all to come, regardless of where are you are from.
She calls the simple to partake, but foolishness they must forsake,
As wicked ways all must spurn, to come to Wisdom and truly learn,
With wisdom being their selection, they must be open to correction,
Learning from every past mistake, as Wisdom's feast, they partake.
As scoffers come along our way, rejecting what Wisdom has to say.
All filled with arrogance and pride, by them, wisdom shall be denied,
Correcting then in Wisdom's name, brings upon one hurt and shame,
For hate the scoffer will project, toward one who chooses to correct.
Will you today heed Wisdom's call, to seek The Lord Who's over all?
Leaving old ways, that you know, so through Wisdom you can grow,
Changing to a life of Righteousness, this as you follow Christ Jesus,
As Wisdom shall multiply your days; with a long life, to God's praise.

On This Day
On this day we search for you,
On it there stays a message for all.
I challenge the ones who stay
To a duel for the wise-at-heart.
There is wisdom when one speaks
And foolishness never lingers.
There is a night of splendour
When wisdom is exhibited for all.
The daily outrages committed will be denied,
Fearing these events is not for all.

Here It Comes
I'm not so sure And yet I know
Give me your lie
It's worthless anyhow
And here it comes
I'm not so cold
As I like to think I am
Though I'll be found
Forever in your pain
And here it comes
I'd rather be no one than someone with no one
I'd rather be no one than someone with no one
I'd rather be no one than someone with no one to love
I'm just useless for her
And your useless for her
I'd rather be no one than someone with no one
I'd rather be no one than someone with no one
I'd rather be no one than someone with no one to love
I'm just useless for her
Yeah your useless for her
I'm just useless for her

Sonnet: God's Ways are the Best
The things I think are best for me to ask
From God don't seem to work too well for me;
Those things God gives to help my every task
Appear the best always ultimately.
My wisdom and experience don't succeed;
My knowledge fails me often in this world;
My ambitions go wrong because of greed;
In frustration, so often I seem hurled!
God's decisions come late and not my way;
Yet, they surprisingly remain the best;
No human mind can think like God, I say;
With help of God, we can pass any test.
Man's foolishness begins when wisdom parts;
Man's wisdom ends before God's prowess starts!

The Seers!
A DAY IS BORN FOR THE WISE!
SEE YE THE FUTURE!
IT HOLDS WISDOM FOR THE WISE!
THEY THAT SEE THE PRESENT ARE BUT LOOKERS!
THEY THAT SEE THE FUTURE ARE BUT VISIERS!
AND THEY THAT SEE ETERNITY ARE GRAND VISIERS!
I HAVE SEEN INFINITY AND BEYOND!
AND LO! THE WISDOM OF THE WISE IS BECOME FOOLISHNESS!
AND THE WISDOM OF THEIR ASTROLOGERS ARE BECOME INSANITY!
IF THEY BE WISE, WHY SOWETH THEY' ETERNAL TROUBLES AS SEED FOR THEIR FUTURE CHILDREN?
FOR LO, LIKE A SEA IS THE ENEMIES THAT HAS FALLEN UPON THE POWERS THAT BE TODAY!
TRUELY, I SAW MYSELF IN THAT SEA!

Wisdom From Above
The Word of God is so very clear, yet, so many men have no fear,
Within their hearts, of The Lord, and so God’s Word goes ignored;
A fear that begins wisdom for all, men everywhere great and small,
Wisdom which opens eyes to see, Truths from the Lord of Eternity.
The Lord revealed Himself to Israel, revealing His Purpose and Will,
And today the Lord’s Revelation, is available to every single nation,
For God spoke through His Son, not just to Israel, but to everyone,
God’s Son was revealed to all men, in a world that was condemned.
My friend, this day as in ages past, only Heavenly Wisdom will last,
A wisdom, which you will receive, when God’s Truth you do believe,
The Wisdom from The Lord above, greater than what men speak of,
Far surpassing the wisdom of men, that, Christ Jesus will condemn.
With this Wisdom, you will heed, the words of Truth which you read,
And as the Spirit opens your eyes, worldly wisdom you will despise,
Embracing Truths of God’s Word, over empty wisdom you’ve heard,
As The Spirit of God does impart, Truth and Wisdom into your heart.
Man’s worldly wisdom my friend, God makes foolishness in the end,
As God frustrates their empty ways, for The Lord’s Glory and Praise;
This all begins through Godly fear, of The Lord, Who is so very near,
And God’s Wisdom, you will see, leads a heart to New Life, Eternally.

Double Vision
Feeling down n dirty, feeling kinda mean
Ive been from one to another extreme
This time I had a good time, aint got time to wait
I wanna stick around till I cant see straight
Fill my eyes with that double vision, no disguise for that double vision
Ooh, when it gets through to me, its always new to me
My double vision gets the best of me
Never do more than I really need
My mind is racing, but my bodys in the lead
Tonights the night, Im gonna push it to the limit
I live all of my years in a single minute
Fill my eyes with that double vision, no disguise for that double vision
Ooh, when it gets through to me, its always new to me
My double vision always seems to get the best of me - the best of me, yeah
Ooh, double vision, I need my double vision
It takes me out of my head, takin me out of my head
I get my double vision, oh, seeing double double
Oh, I have double vision, yeah, Im getting double vision... (to fade)

Menu of Life
I was at the dinner table with my little girl,
and I was perusing through the menu of life...
We ordered:
First course - Health !
Second course - Wisdom !
And as desert,
we ordered a double-double portion
of sheer Happiness!

Double Trouble
(words & music by pomus - shuman)
Some guys fall in love with one girl, I gotta fall for two
Theres just so much lovin that one hearts supposed to do
So I go around with my heart draggin on the ground
Doggin me around, Im the sorriest sight in town
I got double trouble, I got double trouble
I got double trouble twice as much as anybody else oh yeah!
I guess theres gotta be two dark clouds hangin over me
My future looks a bumpy as a matchbox on the sea
Every time I think that I have finally got it made
Some losin cards are played, I just cant make the grade
I got double trouble, I got double trouble
I got double trouble twice as much as anybody else oh yeah!
I got double trouble, I got double trouble
I got double trouble twice as much as anybody else oh yeah!

Let Them Be
Those who DON'T care about themselves,
Just let-them-be.
Let them be.
Yes...
Those who DON'T respect themselves or anyone,
Just let them be.
Let-them-be.
If they have a life of foolishness,
And this is all they've ever known 'and' accepted....
Show them you are serious about your life,
And...
Let them be.
Just let them be.
Those who DON'T care about themselves or ever have,
Just let-them-be.
Let them be.
Those who DON'T respect themselves or anybody,
Just...
Let them be.
Let-them-be.
If they have a life of foolishness...
Don't expect no more from them,
You will not get it.
A fool will only wish for more foolishness,
So let-them-be.
Let them be.
YES...
A fool will only wish for more foolishness,
So let-them-be.
LET THEM BE!
I said...
A fool will only be a fool to see,
So let the fool be.
Let-Them-Be.

Double Wide Paradise
(paul thorn/billy maddox)
I dont want to cry
I dont want to walk the floor
This mobile home
Dont feel like home no more
Since you left tell me what else can I do
Just come back home
Forgive me and forget it
This bed I made
Im tired of sleepin in it
Its freezin cold, and baby that aint cool
Im waitin on you
Here at the ponderosa trailer park
There wasnt nothin that could keep us apart
Then I broke your heart, in our
Double wide, double wide, double wide paradise
Come on back to our double wide paradise
Double wide, double wide paradise
I bought a swimmin pool
From the man at sears
He put it together
I filled it up with tears
Cant find no happiness no matter what I do
Just cause I got
The treasures of the world
It dont mean nothin
If I aint got you girl
Inside my castle
I got the king size blues
Im waitin on you
So baby when you get to feelin alone
You know I always leave my porch light on
So you can come back home, to our
Double wide, double wide, double wide paradise
Come on back to our double wide paradise
Double wide, double wide paradise
We can have a second honeymoon
Well throw some ribs on the barbecue
Just like we used to do
Double wide, double wide, double wide paradise
Come on back to our double wide paradise
Double wide, double wide paradise
