To die in the line of duty is the hope of every Klingon.

To die while serving the Empire is the hope of every Klingon.
To die defending his ship is the hope of every Klingon.
If a warrior ignores duty, acts dishonorably, or is disloyal, he is nothing.
The Klingon who kills without showing his face has no honor.
When you insult a Klingon's honor, prepare for trouble.
A Klingon warrior is always prepared to fight.
A Klingon does not postpone a matter of honor.
The son of a Klingon is a man the day he can first hold a blade.
Never cheat a Klingon... unless your sure you can get away with it.
Were There Hope
I was never in a league of noble gentlemen
To whom she'd cast polite and flitting smiles,
Only distant hope and dying dreams for me!
Or perhaps descent into a game of wiles
To give a chance of sipping wine on heady nights
With her angelic presence to declare;
Above, an aura playing out hypnotic hues,
And I in awe of blonde cascades of hair.
But no! my tiring soul is sinking in a mire
To haunt me for an age and evermore, for
How could I expect to hold her silken hand
When I am but a soulless ghost of yore?

The family of a Klingon warrior is responsible for his actions, and he is responsible for theirs.
Layin It On The Line
You see it every day in every way
We all hear the same routines
They all say that its okay
Just let us take care of everything
So we lay it on the line
Layin it on the line (layin it on the line)
Layin it all, right on the line
Just layin it on the line (layin it on the line)
Layin it all, were livin on the front line
I can see it in the faces
We got trouble in the streets tonight
And power keeps us in our places
And it doesnt matter if youre left or right
You lay it on the line
Layin it on the line (layin it on the line)
Just layin it all, right on the line
Layin it on the line, (layin it on the line)
Layin it all, right on the line
Take it to the wilderness
Into the jungle sun
Lookin for the voice of reason
Inside this babylon
Got u.s. boys on foreign soil
Spillin their blood to keep the peace
Cities will vanish in turmoil
While the sheiks lay sleepin on the beach
We lay it on the line
Layin it on the line (layin it on the line)
Layin it all, right on the line
Just layin it on the line (layin it on the line)
Layin it all, right on the line
Layin it on the line
Just layin it all
Layin it on the line
Just layin it all

End Of The Line
This is the end of the line
I've clearly read ever sign
the way you glance at me
indifferently
and take your hand from mine
this is the end of the line
how can I ever be fine
how helpless I've become
i feel like some discarded valentine
remeber in the biginniunfg
your winning ways excited me
and all the while I was certain
that we two found a love that comes just to a few
we've reached the end of the line
I hope your dreams turn out fine
I'm awfully tired
and so I guess I'll go
Although it's only nine
but this is the end of the line
the end of the line

Into The Fire
The sky was falling and streaked with blood
I heard you calling me, then you disappeared into the dust
Up the stairs, into the fire
Up the stairs, into the fire
I need your kiss, but love and duty called you someplace higher
Somewhere up the stairs, into the fire
May your strength give us strength
May your faith give us faith
May your hope give us hope
May your love give us love
May your strength give us strength
May your faith give us faith
May your hope give us hope
May your love give us love
You gave your love to see, in fields of red and autumn brown
You gave your love to me and lay your young body down
Up the stairs, into the fire
Up the stairs, into the fire
I need you near, but love and duty called you someplace higher
Somewhere up the stairs, into the fire
May your strength give us strength
May your faith give us faith
May your hope give us hope
May your love give us love
May your strength give us strength
May your faith give us faith
May your hope give us hope
May your love give us love
May your strength give us strength
May your faith give us faith
May your hope give us hope
May your love give us love
It was dark, too dark to see, you held me in the light you gave
You lay your hand on me
Then walked into the darkness of your smoky grave
Up the stairs, into the fire
Up the stairs, into the fire
I need your kiss, but love and duty called you someplace higher
Somewhere up the stairs, into the fire
May your strength give us strength
May your faith give us faith
May your hope give us hope
May your love give us love
May your strength give us strength
May your faith give us faith
May your hope give us hope
May your love give us love
May your strength give us strength
May your faith give us faith
May your hope give us hope
May your love give us love
May your strength give us strength
May your faith give us faith
May your hope give us hope
May your love give us love
May your love bring us love

IN THE LINE OF DUTY (In the memory of Cst. J.T. NKOSI)
Was it a grudge?
or maybe a trap?
But why him?
A role model in the making
forced to decline
But how?
Why did he have to die?
Was it all worth his life?
His name was Justice
Has justice been done
but why him?
In the line of duty, he lost his life.
His privilledge to live.
I personally lost a hero
The question stands unanswered: has justice been done?
In the line of duty, I lost a friend, a neighbor and a role model.
but still I ask: Why him?
Cop killers have no space in my world
Lets join hands and bring them to justice.
Then his soul will rest in peace

Loves On The Line
Tell me baby
Have we lost everything that we had before
What do you do in the day
When I walk out the door
I can see you made up your mind
And I know our loves on the line
Loves on the line, our loves on the line
Loves on the line, our loves on the line
Loves on the line, our loves on the line
With each passing day
I gotta watch more and more what I say to you
I can feel your eyes looking through me
As I sit at the table at dinnertime
I can feel our loves on the line
Loves on the line, our loves on the line
Loves on the line, our loves on the line
Loves on the line, our loves on the line
I watch our kids
Growin up, going to school
Is there anything else for us now
Are we both just fools
Wasting our precious time
At night we lay in bed
But its like youre not even there
Theres something real bad
Going wrong somewhere
Last night I heard you cry
And I know our loves on the line
Loves on the line, our loves on the line
Loves on the line, our loves on the line
Loves on the line, our loves on the line
Loves on the line

Crime
Shirking duty
Is crime
Shirking duty
Is sin
Shirking duty
Brings discredit
And losing honour
And fame
Shirking duty
Is painful and infamy
Shunning duty
Is a crime
Is a sin.
