Those who walk slowly reach a far, hence to hurry is not worth.

Hurry-hurry-hurry...
Hurry is the word I hate
hasten I dislike
everyone is always running, is this our fate
no one walks like a decent pike,
what a mess what a sorrow!
Why can't they do more peaceful
do it calm, do today not tomorrow
please be patient, to you all I'll be thankful
They say: Time is money
is it: No time so no money?
Or: I have no money, so am I in a hurry?
or: plenty of money, I take my time, honey
Hurry-hurry-hurry I hate
money-money-money is my fate
then slowly-slowly-slowly
under a huge pile of money
Hurry is the word I hate
hasten I dislike
now you need not walk and hurry it's late
please for God's sake, take a decent bike

I Will Walk With You
Cover your heart, put on your mask
Dance with me slowly, is all that I ask
What is the hardest, falling or not
Knowing just where to begin or start
I will walk, I will walk, with you
I will walk with you
Lay down beside me, tell me your dreams
The view from inside is not what it seems
But no one will hurt you, not like before
Your last thread of forgiveness wont reach the door, noooo
I will walk, I will walk, with you
I will walk with you
I will walk, I will walk, with you
I will walk with you
I will walk, I walk with you
Pull up the curtains
Watch the night fall
Who has the answers when nobody calls
Now rely on fury, blame the sun rise last
Cause I was in love with you, but I cant change the past
I will walk, I will walk with you
I will walk with you (with you)
I will walk, I will walk with you
I will walk with you

Ill Compete
Ill be your promotional copy in this here number one band
Take your business beyond your furthest dreams sounds
Sounds great sounds really grand but wait
Let us hurry now time is catching up
And it looks like the music hall race has caught me up
But Ill compete (yeah yeah)
For all that its worth
Ill compete (with the rest of the pack)
For all that its worth
Ill compete (on the beat)
For all that its worth
Ill compete (with a full deck)
For all that Im worth
Ill be your popswop, come floppy disc, race you along the upper deck
Retrieve from you my with-held treasure,
Then watch you sink with you sunken rotting wreck,
Let us hurry now, time is running out,
Lets not forget time is money said the business man to his faithful scout.
But Ill compete (in the national press)
For all that its worth
Ill compete (with the back chat)
For all that its worth
Ill compete (on the beat)
For all that its worth
Ill compete (international)
For all that its worth
We must hurry now time is closing in
And Im getting no younger in fact
Im five years closer to my pension scheme
But Ill compete (yeah yeah)
For all that its worth
Ill compete (for the ratings)
For all that its worth
Ill compete (on the beat)
For all that its worth
Ill compete (with the rest of the pack)
For all that Im worth

Carny Town
(words & music by wise - starr)
Aha-ha hurry, hurry step this way
Aha-ha hurry, hurry step this way
Now the show youre going to see is strictly high class
Therell be ten hoola dancers shaking their grass
So step right up and put your money down
This way to carny town
We got a man so skinny you can see his bones
We play on his ribs like a xylophone
With a pair of spoons we get a rockin song
Youll hear it all, in carny town
Hurry, hurry, hurry, the house is almost full
We got a two headed cow and thats no bull
Theres a man who swallows swords and he never gets hurt
He eats razor blades for dessert
Hes just about the sharpest guy around
Youll see him here, in carny town
Aha-ha hurry, hurry step this way
Aha-ha hurry, hurry step this way
Aha-ha hurry, hurry step this way
Aha-ha hurry, hurry step this way
Aha-ha I say were gonna win
I said hurry up

Free To Run
*around to along*
I am free to run, I walk slowly along
Im everyone, walking slowly along
I walk slowly along
And Ive been walking far too long
Drag my feet like everyone
Always wanted to run away but walk slowly along
I feel so tired
Wanna sit here for a while,
I can see it in your smile
Come sit here, lets hold for a while
Ive been walking far too long
Drag my feet like everyone
Always wanted to run away but walk slowly along
I walk slowly along
I walk slowly along
Im free to run

A Song Of Spring
The Spring comes slowly up this way,
Slowly, slowly,
Under a snood of hodden grey.
The black and white for her array,
Slowly, slowly,
The Spring comes slowly up this way.
Where is her green that was so gay?
Slowly, slowly,
The Spring comes slowly up this way.
Unto a world too sick for May,
Slowly, slowly,
The Spring comes slowly up this way.
Where are the lads that used to play?
Slowly, slowly,
The Spring comes slowly up this way.
She has no heart for holiday,
Slowly, slowly,
The Spring comes slowly up this way.
The trees are out in Heaven they say.
Slowly, slowly,
The Spring comes slowly up our way.

Let Me Give You My Love
What a day, young boy next door passed away.
It makes me wanna say,
"Hey, I don't wanna waste another day."
Can you and I start mixing gene pools?
Eastern, Western, people get naughty, multilingual?
I was sort of like soul searching,
But your body's so jaw-dropping,
Our chemistry's ground-breaking,
Don't keep me waiting?
Hurry up baby,
Hurry up baby,
let me give you my love.
Hurry up,
Lets turn this room into a melting pot?
Giddy up baby,
Giddy up baby,
Let me give you my love.
Buckle up boy,
I know you're gonna like what I got?
Maybe it's not worth the wait.
Maybe I should walk away.
Hey, I don't want to waste my energy.
Can you and I stop acting like fools,
Or move on to other people?
It's funny, but I liked that sad song.
I was sort of like soul searching,
But your body's so jaw-dropping,
Some say its rule-breaking,
But times are changing?
Hurry up baby,
Hurry up baby,
let me give you my love.
Hurry up,
Lets turn this room into a melting pot?
Giddy up baby,
Giddy up baby,
Let me give you my love.
Buckle up boy,
I know you're gonna like what I got?
Let me know if what I'm feeling isn't mutual.
All I know is that I'm feeling very very hot?
Hurry up baby,
Hurry up baby,
let me give you my love.
Hurry up,
Lets turn this room into a melting pot?
Giddy up baby,
Giddy up baby,
Let me give you my love.
Buckle up boy,
I know you're gonna like what I got?
Hurry up baby,
Hurry up baby,
let me give you my love.
Hurry up,
Lets turn this room into a melting pot?
Giddy up baby,
Giddy up baby,
Let me give you my love.
Buckle up boy,
I know you're gonna like what I got?

I Walk Slowly/The Morning Prayer Done
I WALK SLOWLY/ THE MORNING PRAYER DONE
I walk slowly
The morning prayer done-
A new week a new year begins
With the same old questions and problems-
I will not get anywhere else
I have done what I have done.
I pray I will go on for some years
In relative good health-
And when the end comes
It will not be too long or too painful
For myself and for others.
I walk home slowly
I have not conquered the world
And I am not going to.

Safe at Home
Glaring down the man
on the mound
A dogged head likened
to a hound
Gotta reach first
my goal is there
a hit, a bunt, a bean ball
don't really care
So I look
I took
four straight pitches
my jock and my poison, down there
truly itches
I reach first in a hurry
steal second in quite a hurry
I glance at third
as I start to scurry
passed ball
the next pitch
home again, home a again
safe
not to worry

Walk With Me
Walk with me through darkness
Every day and every night
Walk me through the darkness
Walk me until I reach the light
We all stumble on life's journeys
We all need a helping hand from time to time we all wonder how we fit in your
plan
Walk me through the darkness
hold my hand when I am lost
Carry me when the road gets rough
pick me up each time I fall
Let your prescence be her with me
every day and every nightwalk with me throught he darkness
walk with me until i reach trhe light
When I am in my darkest hour and feel like givin up
Take this weight from off my shoulder fill my heart with your love
Walk me through the darkness
Wlak with me till I reach the light

I Walk Slowly And Wait For A Poem
I WALK SLOWLY AND WAIT FOR A POEM
I walk slowly and wait for a poem-
The early morning
Wind and sunlight
Encompass and embrace me-
The green green world
Makes my eyes smile-
I walk slowly and wait for a poem.

And I walk...
I walk under the outside rain
I walk with nothing but my inside pain
where ever I run I face a locked door
I have lost every reason I used to pray for
But I walk...
circumstances, consequences are what made my pacience grow
I listen carefuly I watch accurately and that is how I know
I know what they think I know what they silently say
I read there eyes and slowly lead them to become my prey
And I walk...
I walk hoping that they will hurt me once again
because then I will have an exuse to drive them insane
I give many oppurtunities but I am generously revengeful
I am slowly loosing my spirit but for the first time I feel grateful

Come And Get It
If you want it
here it is,
come and get it.
Make your mind up fast.
If you want it
anytime I can give it
but you better hurry
'cos it may not last.
Did I hear you say
that there must be a catch
will you walk away
from a fool and his money
If you want it,
here it is,
come and get it,
but you better hurry
'cos it's going fast.
If you want it
here it is,
come and get it,
make your mind up fast.
If you want it
anytime I can give it,
but you'd better hurry
'cos it may not last.
Did I hear you say
that there must be a catch
will you walk away
from a fool and his money
Sonny, if you want it,
here it is,
come and get it
but you'd better hurry
'cos it's going fast.
You'd better hurry
'cos it's going fast.
Fool and his money.
Sonny, if you want it,
here it is,
come and get it,
but you'd better hurry
'cos it's going fast,
you'd better hurry
'cos it's going fast,
you'd better hurry
'cos it's going fast.

Reach Out
Dont walk away
I need you more than words can say
I feel for you, this everlasting flame
My everlasting flame
I will wash away your tears
Through the pain and through the sorrow
Better days are still to come
If you would only turn around and
Reach out and touch me
Reach out and hold me
Reach out and touch me!
You feel the rain
I feel the tear drops run down my face
You hide your fear in everlasting shame
My everlasting flame
We have wasted so much time
So youre saying now its over
Better days are still to come
Dont turn your back on me now, darling
Reach out and touch me
Reach out and hold me
Reach out and touch me!
I will wash away your tears
Through the pain and through the sorrow
Better days are still to come
If you would only turn around and
Reach out and touch me
Reach out and hold me
Reach out and touch me!
Dont walk away from me now darling
I need you now much more than ever
Dont you walk away from me my darling
Dont walk away from me now darling
(reach out and touch me)
I need you now much more than ever
(reach out and hold me)
Dont you walk away from me my darling
(reach out and touch me!)

Open The Gate
I see you from the distance
From beyond the fence you made
Hiding all your feelings
Behind your barricade
Oh have you been invaded
Is this the reason why you hide
I know just how you're feeling
I know - let me inside
Open the gate up
Open the gate up - hurry
Open the gate up - hurry
I want to get near you
But you just won't let me in
'Cause you're so scared of losing
Everything you've got within
Come on now you can trust me
Come on and open the door
'Cause I know just how you're feeling
I know - I've been there before
Open the gate up
Open the gate up - hurry
Open the gate up
Hurry hurry hurry hurry
And do it right now
Do it right now
Do it right now
Do it right now - hurry
Do it right now - do it right now
Do it right now - do it right now
And do it right now - do it right now
Do it right now - do it right now
Hurry
Open the gate up
Open the gate up - hurry
Open the gate up
Hurry hurry hurry hurry
Open the gate up - open the gate up
Or I'm gonna knock the damn door down
Open the gate up - open the gate up
Or I'm gonna knock the damn door down
Open the gate up - open the gate up
Or I'm gonna knock the damn door down
Open the gate up - open the gate up
Or I'm gonna knock the damn door down

Walk On (Keep On Movin')
Walk on
Keep on walking and don't look back
You gotta keep on down the track
The future's yours to shape and mold
The past is past beyond control
So walk on
Walk on
Baby walk on
Walk on
Walk on
You gotta struggle up them hills
To realize the downward thrills
When night confuses where you are
Then just look up at that guiding star
So walk on
Walk on
Baby walk on
Baby baby let me walk with you (walk on)
Baby baby let me walk (walk on)
The wind may blow the sky may fall
But if you're strong you'll go through it all
And just as long as your aim is true
There'll come a day your goal's in view
So come on
Baby baby let me walk with you
Baby baby let me walk
Keep on moving
Keep on grooving
And when you reach where you belong
You'll find it's where you first started from
And through it all you're still the same
You swear it's them not you who's changed
So walk on walk on walk on
Keep on moving
Just Keep on moving yeah
Better keep on moving yeah

Drown Me Slowly
I've got a will this time don't care what you say
I've got a feeling this will all go away
It's in the wind this time it's in the southern sky
I can't walk on water yet won't even try
Chorus
So drown me slowly
Enclose me
Drown me slowly alright
Drown me slowly
Enfold me
Drown me slowly
All that I took with me was a bad taste in my mouth
Went all around the world just couldn't spit it out
Just like ground zero was the surface of the sun
That's a sickness I can't fix it not all at once
Chorus
So drown me slowly
Enclose me
Drown me slowly alright
Drown me slowly
Enfold me
Drown me slowly
Don't let them take you down
You'll leave a better world than you found
Don't let them take you down
You'll leave a better world than you found
Don't let them take you down
Don't let them take you down
Don't let them take you down
Don't let them take you down
Chorus
So drown me slowly
Enclose me
Drown me slowly alright
Drown me slowly
Enfold me
Drown me slowly
Drown me slowly
Drown me slowly
Drown me slowly

Amusement Parks, U. S. A.
Lets take your car and to amusement parks usa
At palisades in salisbury parks the rolly coasters are flyin
At euclid beach on the flying turns Ill bet you cant keep her smilin
Buy your girl a cotton candy while youre down on the ground
Then take her on the twirl-a-way and spin her around
Lets take your car and mess around at the park all day
The parachutes at riverview park will shake us up all day
And disneyland and p.o.p. is worth a trip to l.a.
Watchin girls in the air can really get you bad
And Ill bet the laughin lady makes you laugh like mad
Lets pick up our friends and do amusement parks usa
[spoken, supposedly by beach boys session drummer hal blaine]
Hurry, hurry, hurry folks step right up to the beach boy circus.
The best little show in town.
Hurry, hurry, hurry, its only a dime folks, one thin dime, just one tenth of a dollar.
Come on in and see stella the snake dancer (is it real? )
She walks, she talks, she wiggles on her belly like a snake.
(she looks like afake to me) (lets go see her) (it costs too much)
Hurry, hurry, hurry folks, come on and see stella.
She shimmies, she shakes....
Youll crash and burn in the bumper cars at jerseys steel pier
Youll crack em up when you stand in front of all the crazy mirrors
At first youll be a chicken at the jackhammer ride
But youll do it with a girl sittin right by your side
Lets take your car and mess around at the park all day
