There is no worse apprentice than the one who doesn't want to know.

If an apprentice does not hear what a master hears, is then that quality not present in the music? Yes and no. In the world in which the apprentice lives no.

Apprentice is the beginner - the first years you work in a craft in the European sense you are an apprentice. That takes 3 or 4 years. Then you are a journeyman. You can go from one master to another and learn other tricks and other secrets.

Just Because
Just because you did
Doesn't mean that you should
Just because you can
Doesn't mean that you could
Just because you are able
Doesn't mean you would
Just because you sat
Doesn't mean you should‘ve stood.
Just because you spoke
Doesn't mean that you thought
Just because you looked
Doesn't mean that you sought
Just because you argued
Doesn't mean that you fought
Just because you dreamed
Doesn't mean that you wished not.
Just because you cried
Doesn't mean that you wept
Just because you had
Doesn't mean that you kept
Just because you cleaned
Doesn't mean that you swept
Just because you said yes
Doesn't mean that you accept.
Just because you gathered
Doesn't mean that you own
Just because you gave up
Doesn't mean that you were alone
Just because you saw
Doesn't mean that you were shown
Just because you expiate
Doesn't mean you should atone.
Just because your old
Doesn't mean that you have flaws
Just because you won
Doesn't mean you have to applause
Just because you waited
Doesn't mean that you paused
Just because you were you
Doesn't mean anything, because.

Good Enough
If I woke up late
Couldn't get out of bed
If I bought you a café latte instead
If I lied when I said 32 inches was the size of my waist
And if I admit every once in a while
Even though I dig alternative style
Occasionally I can be caught dancin' to Brittany
And can I confess
That art house doesn't turn me on
But I like every single thing that Speilberg's done (Except A.I.)
Could I be good enough
Could I be good enough
If the going got worse and the worse got rough
The days became endless and harder than tough
I'd be good enough
Better than best would be simply to be good enough
If everything I give doesn't seem like a lot
If it's all that I got
Baby tell that could be good enough
Where I grew up
The rent was cheap
But we always had enough to eat Didn't have fancy clothes
I never really cared coz there were shoes on my toes
And motherly love
I knew it like the back of my hand
She always had a way to make me understand
I could be good enough
I could be good enough
If the going got worse and the worse got rough
The days became endless and harder than tough
I'd be good enough
Better than best would be simply to be good enough
If everything I give doesn't seem like a lot
If it's all that I got
Baby tell me that could be good enough
Coz I don't know which way this road is gonna turn
But I know it's gonna be fine
But there are some days no matter how much I've learned
That the road gets tough
And I don't feel good enough
But if you're giving me some of that loving
Could you pass some over
Let me cry on your shoulder and tell me baby
I could be good enough
If I lost my job
And my hair fell out
If I made no sense
And I scream and shout
Would you laugh at me?
Never take a word I say seriously And if I'm out in the cold
Waiting in the back of the line
Too afraid to drop my name for fear of decline
Could you tell me I'm good enough? Could I be good enough?
If the going got worse and the worse got rough
The days became endless and harder than tough
I'd be good enough
Better than best would be simply to be good enough
If everything I give doesn't seem like a lot
If it's all that I've got
Baby tell me that could be good enough
I need to know that I could be good enough
Because everybody wants to feel good enough
Show me baby
Tell me
Come on a prove it baby
Give it to me

APPRENTICEship
Ambling home after an exhausted day
The moon aiding in sun’s stead
The moon. Up there
Like a round plate, glowed yellow
Apprentice to the sun it played
Apprentice to the sun it plays
The sun. The chief-Muse
protecting, encouraging, inspiring
beauty, life even death,
makes of all apprentices
Apprenticing to the Muse,
We
With
Scenes and Acts
Paragraphs and Chapters

Impressions
Create anew today –yesterdays, todays, tomorrows.

It Was Meant To Be
With both of your legs broken in a car smash and in plaster and in agony
And one of your friends even tell you don't worry it was meant to be
For it could be worse you could be in a wheelchair as if you had karma to pay
And you to help out other people have often gone out of your way.
His words to you don't sound consoling and he doesn't give you much sympathy
But if he had to suffer like you do he might not say it was
meant to be
He might not say that things could be far worse and unlike you he might complain
How can you know how one is feeling when you've never been through their pain.
He's not been through the trauma of a car smash and he's never had broken bones
And he's never known the aches of bad injuries the aches that give rise to the groans
You've got to know the pain yourself first before you can give sympathy
And only one who himself has not suffered can say that it was meant to be.
You've gone out of your way to help others and you always do the best you can
And those who know you they tell others that you are a good and kind man
But with both your legs broken in a car smash one of your friends doesn't offer much sympathy
When he says to you things could be far worse and don't worry it was meant to be.

Depression (a mix of poems and mine)
Depression is a fight
Depression is a flight
Depression is a thief
That should be locked up
Depression steals your view on life
And even your very life
It brings to you seclusion
Worse than that of a grave
And darkness
Worse than that of a cave
It keeps you away
It doesn’t allow you to be gay
It keeps you back
It doesn’t allow any comeback
It keeps you pressured
It keeps you shattered
It brings to you tearing tears
With depression there is no in-between
You’re in a dark tunnel
With no light to be seen
Depression we say is a selfish state of mind
But when we get depressed there is no other we can find
Depression is predator and we’re all its prey
Tick tock tick tock goes the clock
Its only a matter of time
Before the ultimate climb

Quasi Moto
(This is a favorite joke I've put to rhyme)
Quasi Moto was a legand
who became a man of fame.
This crippled man was known as
The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
Quasi Moto's health was failing.
He was old and growing frail,
so they hired an apprentice
he would teach to ring the bell.
This poor apprentice fellow
really wasn't very bright,
but at least he was determined
he could learn to do it right.
They climbed up to the bell tower.
(A steep climb that isn't fun)
And finally reached the iron bell
for lesson number one.
Quasi told him, "Push the bell..
then step aside.. and let it go,
but the bell came back and struck him
because he was so slow.
It knocked him from the tower
and he landed in town square.
Quasi slowly limped down all the stairs
and found him lying there.
The townsfolk had all gathered.
Quasi pushed till he got through.
As he looked down a fellow asked..
"Quasi…is this a man you knew? "
Quasi looked at his apprentice
and slowly answered "Well……
I can't say I really knew him
but his face sure rings a bell."

Fundamental of Liar Chapter CXXI: It doesn't mean any harm
It may be provocative
It may be disturbing
But it doesn't mean any harm
It may be rough
It may be emotional
But it doesn't mean any harm
It may be wild
It may be rebellious
But it doesn't mean any harm
It may go unplanned
It may look careless
But it doesn't mean any harm
It may be a nuisance
It may be a mistake
But it doesn't mean any harm
It may be a mess
It may be complicated
But it doesn't mean any harm
It may be slow progress
It may test the patience
But it doesn't mean any harm
It may be a hard blow
It may shake the faith
But it doesn't mean any harm
It may be cursed
It may be judged cruel
But it doesn't mean any harm

There's no worse deaf man than the man who doesn't want to listen.
Sense Defect
Though I can not see, it doesn’t mean I can not listen
Though I can not hear, it doesn’t mean I can not scent
Though I can not smell, it doesn’t mean I can not savor
Though I can not taste, it doesn’t mean I can not appreciate
Though I can not feel, it doesn’t mean I can not watch

Void
I've seen so many faces
These hands have lied before
I've kissed so many lips it's blocked my mind
I've whispered bullshit, nothings
I've cried alone in night
I thought I'd found the one a million times
But doesn't anyone fill the void?
Doesn't anyone kill the joy?
Doesn't anyone take the place of you in my heart?
And doesn't anyone fill the void?
Doesn't anyone kill the joy?
Doesn't anyone take the place of you?
I let a stranger love me
I gave away my pride
I bit my lips, so I could block my mind
I've called your name to others
Just like a spinal chord
Severed and broken but the spark still tries
And doesn't anyone fill the void?
Doesn't anyone kill the joy?
Doesn't anyone take the place of you in my heart?
Doesn't anyone fill the void?
Doesn't anyone kill the noise?
Doesn't anyone take the place of you?
They don't know you like I do
They don't see the good inside you
They don't lie with you in bed and join you when you're dreaming
They don't see your softer side
Who'll be there to turn your light on?
Who will try to wash away the stain that love has left us?
Doesn't anyone fill the void?
Doesn't anyone kill the joy?
Doesn't anyone kill the place of you in my heart?
Doesn't anyone bring the noise?
Doesn't anyone kill the joy?
Doesn't anyone take the place of you?

There are many far worse off than you
that still manage to smile.

It Really Doesn't Matter
You say your ugly, i say it doesn't matter.
You say you have a dark past,
i say it doesn't matter.
You say theirs overwhelming responsibility,
i say it doesn't matter.
I don't believe in walking away when things get hard.
In fact they are my spark to continue my march.
Through thick and thin where to begin.
You say you don't have a way.
I say it doesn't matter.
You say that you cant give back what you would like.
I say it doesn't matter.
You say, you say oh it really doesn't matter,
I live one day at a time.
Choices will be made that will save the day
but hurt me financially.
It doesn't matter Choice will be made
that will set me back in my expectations.
It doesn't matter,
It really doesn't matter.
Its well worth it.
To see the beauty that
you have placed before me.
Oh how its worth it.
To settle down and not be looking to be found.

Cover-ups
Shred the evidence. Tear it to bits.
Make it a puzzle so nothing fits.
Do whatever you have to do
so the finger doesn't point at you.
Isn't that what we see at the top?
It's what they do. It doesn't stop.
The higher up you go the worse it becomes.
These sleazy characters are just the crumbs
that are left scattered all around
as the walls of justice fall to the ground.
And what of the victims that are the prey.
In their situation do they have any say?
We hear these horror stories and don't understand
why so many higher-ups had their head in the sand.
I say just follow the money-trail.
There's where the truth will be without fail.
